Yeah just remember we turned you over in about 15mins ... may of been at home but we've been playing better away this season..

So should be a good game if we decide to play and hopefully we'll play Al-Habsi

Not the best draw, hopefully West Ham and Wigan can provide a shock. Sick of the bigger sides winning the league cup.

Could hardly be more happy with the draw, although on occasion Wigan do bend us over (See post #226) , I'm relatively confident we can reach the semi final.

That was painful.

But that was when we had Silvestre at the back and Flappyhandski in terrible form. Watson and Bramble's goals were very soft due to poor keeping.

Still confident we can run riot at the Emirates.

TEAM NEWS
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is considering whether to include Robin van Persie following the Dutchman's recent lay-off with an ankle injury. Captain Cesc Fabregas is still out with the hamstring strain he suffered against Braga last week.
Wigan striker Victor Moses impressed after coming on as a second-half substitute against West Ham and could start at the Emirates Stadium.
Defender Gary Caldwell remains sidelined with a thigh problem.

MATCH PREVIEW
Arsenal have fielded strong sides and been hugely impressive in this season's Carling Cup, earning their quarter-final place with emphatic victories at Newcastle and local rivals Tottenham, hitting four goals both matches.
But in the league, they have lost their last two home games, which may offer some encouragement to a Wigan side that has suffered four consecutive away defeats and have not won on the road since a victory at Tottenham in August.
The Gunners, League Cup winners in 1987 and 1993, will become the first club to reach the semi-finals 14 times if they can overcome Wigan, although Aston Villa could also reach their 14th semi-final when they take on Birmingham City 24 hours later.
Wigan, who have eliminated Hartlepool and Championship teams Preston and Swansea so far, are appearing in the quarter-finals of the League Cup for the third time in their history. The Latics are enjoying their best run in the competition since beating Arsenal to reach the final in 2006.

MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
• Arsenal have won 10, and Wigan only two, of the 13 previous matches between these clubs.
They have met twice in the League Cup. Wigan beat Arsenal in the 2006 semi-finals on away goals, and were beaten 3-0 by them in the fourth round in 2008.
Arsenal
• Arsenal have won three of their last five matches.
• This is the eighth successive campaign in which they have reached the last eight of the League Cup, although they have gone out at this stage in the both the last two seasons, losing to Burnley and Manchester City.
Wigan
• Wigan have lost their last two games, and are without a win in six away from home.
• This is their 100th match in the League Cup.
