Mata is way way too good for this level. Would be a starter in any other national senior side if he wasnt spanish
 
Frank Fielding's singing wasnt the only thing that impressed me about him tonight, it was a quality save early on in the first half.

£400k doesnt seem a bad deal for one of England's top performers this tournament

I dont wear glasses. And i think you'll find im actually quite unbiased and dont praise my club on any givin moment and if there is somthing to criticise then i will speak out.

Yer Mata is way too good but for the last 2 games Sturridge has been the best player on the pitch by a country mile. Well him and Smalling today has been impecable.

Why didn't they just keep the pressure up? It was obviously working, but no - the U21's do exactly what the senior side do. Get a goal and shut up shop.

Didn't watch the rest of the 2nd half.. On the basis of the first half and their last game, though - they fully deserve to be knocked out.
