Poor finish to Group D
See off Orihuela in Spanish cup and both legs against Celta were this month with the winner to face Barca
Participated in the Club World Championship's
Draw Spurs in the knockout stages
Perotti gets injured again on his first game back! Luna also out injured
Only 1 of the 7 games this month were for the League

Poor result, although we had already qualified i was still expecting to win the game although them winning means PSG finished 4th!

Sevilla 2-0 Orihuela
Reyes, Bony

Scored 4 disallowed goals as well as dominate pretty much the whole match in a very one sided game as expected, would of liked to of won by a bigger margin though.

Sevilla 2-0 Wydad Casablanca
Narsingh, Negredo

Put out a pretty strong team against a side much weaker than our own and dominated from start to finish.

Was glad we won this tournament as i was hoping and adds another trophy to the club, was nice to receive these comments as well..

Was actually a very close 1st leg with Negredo missing a late penalty which could of gave us a huge boost for the 2nd Leg, he hasn't really performed well this season which is a real shame..

Was a very pleasing and convincing win, something we haven't done enough this season! Perotti got injured this game after only returning! god dam it...

My game just crashed there lads so i had to replay the Celta game, 2nd leg in the Spanish cup, was originally a 1-0 win but when i replayed it i won 3-0 so ill edit the score, just in case anyone got confused etc. (still Barca next round)

I think this is by far my favourite story I've read so far, nice simple and clear! Keep it up! It's kinda similar to my Juninho story that I started last week, take a look and see if you have any suggestions on improving it, eg screenshots etc!!

January

Bony missed all games this month due to International duty but was back for last game of month
First defeat in League after 15 games
Lose out to Barcelona in Spanish Cup yet again but get revenge straight after in the League
Perotti injured AGAIN!
Negredo fails to step up with Bony away and gets replaced with Reyes after only a couple games
Bony makes instant impact on first game back
No transfer business although Rakitic leaves for Frankfurt for 6M
Proves a tough month with injuries and small squad struggling to cope with tight fixture list

Was the third time playing Celta in 20 days and this was the best performance, solid win.

Our early goal wasnt enough to see off Barcelona as the pegged us back level in what was a very close and tense game.

Our first loss in 15 games, we just didn't seem to turn up in a match that was very little chances but Deportivo scored an early second half goal to see out the 3 points, very poor performance.

Actually lucky they only score twice as we were outclassed as we always are against the mighty!

YES! got a bit of payback on Barcelona although i do feel there sending off did change the game but still strongly feel we would of won if they kept the extra man as we played amazing!

Negredo finally decided to score! its been a very poor season from him and has made me consider id he should go in the summer.

Played a few people out of position with injuries and we couldn't get control of the game and allowed them to equalize so in the end i was satisfied to come away with just a point.

Had a few people out of position again and Reyes striker and Digne on the wing proved to work well with a good bounce back from dropping points.

Probably haven't said enough about the 21 year old Frenchman as he has always performed when called upon and works his role in midfield very well and deserved player of the month as he stood a class apart.

Strong and convincing performance at home, got all 3 points which i expected.

Gave away a silly penalty to let them equalize then after they got a man sent off we went more attacking and paid for it on the counter attack, managed to scrape a point in the end in a rather surprising result given our home form.

Was a close game with it going back and fourth but an injury time goal from Verratti gave us a win that could be key in the tie.

2 early injuries wasn't stopping us from demolishing struggling Villareal.

Granada took an early lead and Navas missed a penalty not long after but made up for his error with an amazing individual goal and we go the momentum on our side to cruise on from there, well deserved win in the end.

Tough 2nd leg at White Hart Lane
Bony score his 50th goal for club
Drawn FC Bayern in the Qtr Finals of Champions League
Youth intake gives me one standout goalkeeper but he don't look to promising to be fair

Was 3-0 up inside the first 12 minutes, but seemed to just control the game from there till the final whistle.

We managed to grab a draw in a game we really came second best in all areas, lucky not to have conceded more.

Mistakes cost us at Bayern
Solid performance against Madrid along with Medel and Coke injured
Comeback kings return
Poor performance at Athletic
3 penalties in the one game
Verratti injured at end of month and will miss 5-6 weeks!

Was lucky to win this as Getafe were the better team.

Well... we left it all to do after the 1st leg and we showed exactly how dangerous we are to come back from 3 goals down and win the tie, very similar to last year with United were we came back from 4-1 down! great fightback spirit and we face Chelsea in the SF.

Another game we scraped through which is starting to cause some concern with not much games left, just glad to come through winners in this tough part of the season.

Was actually lucky to win this as Chelsea made it a very hard game but we attacked and defended well and were awarded 3 penalties, Navas missing one and scoring 2, scrappy win to rely on penalties but ill take it.

Good win so late in the season to get the vital 3 points needed.

Would of been lucky to have came out this with a draw never mind a win, but we defended very well and 2 top class goals proved to kill Chelsea with Navas also missing a penalty... again, we will play Man City in final.

Kondogbia has been developing pretty well with him featuring more and more over the past 3 years and does his job very well as a Ball winning midfielder, here is a SS of his stats :)

Didint really have any areas of the team needing improved along with anyone i felt that had to leave although i brought in young Spanish attacking midfielder Muniain as Navas and Reyes are getting on a bit and he will add much more depth into my team, Most of my promising youngsters all have gone out on loan till the end of the season, was hoping to sign a goalkeeper but none i felt were reasonably priced, really trying to sign young regens but haven't really found any! (other singings were by the director of football)
