though having said that, considering 4 goals and celebrations and the number of cards, 5 minutes doesnt seem crazy.

United are giving us a run for our money on being the league's draw specialists.
for once it was us coming back than conceding it

Ref was ******* *****, so was our performance bar Fletcher and Vidic as usual. Needed to win this :S

WTF was that. Please win some games on the road.
Nani is so petulant its unbelievable. He is not Ronaldo and even Ronaldo isn't on his *** that many times in the match.

Vidic didn't go full into the crowd jumping over the barrier like your player did. He was basically pushed closer by the United players and the crowd was basically on the pitch. That's why he didn't get booked.

But overall, Poor game from United. Don't deserve the point but that's what great teams do. Play **** and still get points.

Let's put this into context

<Jack> gooalll!!
<Dan> 3-2 manure now?
<Jack> ye
<Jack> goalll!"
<iNickStuff> Yis!
<Jack> 4-2
<iNickStuff> Get in!!!
<Edsyers> what a goal nani
<Jack> jk
<Jack> still 2-2
<iNickStuff> ..
<iNickStuff> *****. ;/

As much as I love Berbatov as a player. Hasn't scored since Liverpool, looking like the same old story for him.

Plus Berba is visibly frustrated, kicking the Villa goalpost in the first half. He will be snatching at chances now.

Pathetic performance from the whole team bar Vidic and Fletcher. Evra had been absolutely horrendous. Can't believe he didn't bother to mark Albrighton during the second goal. Berbatov had reverted to his usual frustrated self. Brown, well I don't even know why he is played before Rafael. Park had been giving away the ball easily, so is Nani (and my god can he stop his antics?). Carrick had been anonymous (didn't performed badly but didn't do anything great, I guess, since I barely noticed his presence).

All in all an absolutely terrible performance bar the last 10 minutes. Macheda + Obertan did more in 10 minutes than Berbatov and Chicharito had ever done.

And about the referee, I thought he was more inclined to card Man Utd than Aston Villa. Luke Young's lunge into Nani was ignored and yet Hernandez's mistimed tackle was awarded with a yellow. I'm not saying that the referee was siding Aston Villa or Man Utd, it's just that he was horrible. Simple.

United's midfield shows its frailties on a weekly basis.

For god sake, what is up with United getting points they dont deserve... last week at Wolves and now here grrrrr. Oh well I guess they still dropped points, unlucky Villa.

The last 30 minutes were great, Villa did some excellent counters but after 2-0 they got complacent and suffered 2 goals, mostly because of the avalanche that is Nani, but overrall I think its a relatively fair result, but Villa could have won it.

somehow we actually had more chances than villa, but this game shows why you dont play a two man mid of carrick and fletcher against a high energy side. this game cried out for anderson

Yes it is a ridiculous rule. But if Young was booked for it, so Vidic should have been. Typical ref bottling a sending off. Villa deserved more today, United were awful but did what they do. Albrighton with another great performance (although could have scored another goal earlier), and Downing, who i dont usually rate very highly, had a good game to be fair to him

Evra was a doubt for the match, since he was still suffering from the Ankle injury in the Man City derby, so no surpise he was poor. Fabio should of played instead but saying that, Fabio prob wouldn't of been experience enough to deal with Villa's fast counters. Also, Rafael wasn't even on the bench today because he's injured. That's why Brown was playing. But I'd agree on everything you said. Just Nani perked up abit when Obertan and Macheda so he wasn't all bad. Even getting an assist.

I agree. Ref did seem to book Man Utd more easily then Villa. Villa fan's could argue with the Vidic celebration but I think I explained well why he didn't get booked.

didn't see the game as i thought i would go for a kickabout myself. Very very happy with the result but it could have been oh so much better and by the sounds of it Utd were lucky to get a point. Utd are struggling to see out games and i don't know what it will take for fans to realise and admit this. Could be 6points clear of Utd tomorrow and that would be immense as we started the week with a defeat.

Message from Scott -

Utd didnt struggle to see this game out as they actually rescued it. He says that you're wrong.
