Here is who I bought. The Belgian midfielder Freys came in for £7.5m and was immediately loaned out while Testa and the Polish lad also has a 5 star potential rating.

On the field we thrashed Lazio to win the Super Cup and won the derby against Brescia so that was good however in the Champions League we are in the same group as Barcelona again! FC Twente and Basel make up the numbers.

I finally got a feeder team to help with merchandising sales etc. Japanese side Vegalta Sendai - never heard of them but they cost the most per year and in my way of thinking that means they make the most money.

Great story Atalanta have a fantastic squad from the start I bought monolo gabbiadini in my Newcastle save for £10m and he was ace at LW , sold him to city in January tho for £25m because Wilshere was available for £21m keep up the good work

Its fairly easy - as I am now a big club I sort through the player search with each age individually from 15 to 19 and then one at 21 incase I have missed any. Then click on the following attributes and judge it from there - accelaration, speed, tackling, marking, finishing, crossing, dribbling, passing, handling, reflexes, free kicks and creativity. The best ones stand out as they have double figures in at least 7 or 8 of those categories.

I am not happy - despite being 5pts clear already in the league, despite gaining revenge by beating Barcelona and despite winning every game so far this season. Why? My teams performances. Apart from the game against Lazio we have been poor and either not creating enough chances or not taking enough.

I have been swapping Adams and Immobile about but neither seems to want to score goals and that is a concern.

Other than that its all good lol.

A good month all told. We won every game bar one and played quite well. The injuries are mounting up though as Adams, Purtskhvanidze, Bonaventura and Zouma are all out for a couple of months. Bonaventura has the most to be worried about as Signori has been just waiting for his chance for regular games and here it is............

Another good month. We banged in the goals, had some great comebacks but sacrificed top spot in our Champions League group. Signori has taken over from Bonaventura brilliantly - like I hoped he would.

Crisetig got his first cap for Italy - as did Caprari!!!!! Guevara got called up but is uncapped.

Palermo sacked their manager and appointed Gianfranco Zola.

We end the year 10pts clear in the league - mainly thanks to defeating Juventus. We also dod a double over AC Milan so this was a very good month all told.

What wasnt so good was the Champions League draw as we will come up against Bayern Munich.

JANUARY

I didnt expect to do much if anything this transfer window but in the end I brought in 3 players and received a record fee.

Departing was record signing Mustapha Adams. After 11 games he produced 1 goal and 1 assist so when I transfer listed him and received a £21m bid from Benfica I accepted it - a profit of £2.5m. I also loaned out 3 players.

Incoming was 3 regens. Firstly I pre-arranged this deal for a Brazilian midfielder. I brought him in for £1.9m and loaned him out to Cagliari.

As for the results it was a patchy month. We lost our first game of the season in the league when we played Napoli and then drew with Bologna however we progressed to the final of the Coppa Italia as we knocked out Bologna and Juventus.

FEBRUARY

This was a fantastic month. We eliminated Bayern Munich in the Champions League and won every league game to boot. Add to that the fact we scored loads of goals makes this month very good indeed!

Speaking of goals - El Shaarawy has scored 6 times this season and 4 came in the very first game! That is rediculous.

A couple of managers got sacked while Marco van Basten is now manager of Bologna.
