They can afford to spend the money though. The debt is in control and the way they are going now they can manage that efficiently.Buggered with any luck. But they'll do what they always do - spend millions on anyone they want despite being massively in debt and ruining the Spanish banks.
They're upgrading La Masia as well, which is a brilliant Youth Academy.
Iturbe is going to Porto (official), i think he's dubbed the new Messi.Barcelona will always be Barcelona, no matter whether 10 Leo Messi plays for them or not. After Xavi they will be Iniesta and Thaigo and after that some over academy product. Messi is the best player in the world but not irreplaceable Barcelona are probably already thinking 10 years ahead and already looking into a replacement for him. But I could see Iturbe replacing Messi even tho Porto and United are after him. But ready made potential replacement.
not true barcelona spend a **** of a lot of moneyBarcelona dont tend to spend a lot of money, just think how was xavi, iniesta and emssi amde, trhought eh academies.
Barcelona probs have scounts out now, or already like 13-15 training who are the best, who will be same standerd as these 3 if not better. Barcelona are a team that always have produced talent through there ranks so losing these 3 aint a big problem as they weill produce very good replacements probaly.
+ Xavi the only 1 atm - Because xavi is 31, iniesta is 26 (27 in may) and messi 23 (24 in may?) so inista still got a logn way and messi a at least another 10 years for messi so xavi the only way to replace, adn i believe there is no player like xavi, he is a masterpiece but there is replacements available, not his standerd but still good
