Thought I would type in Aitor Herrera in google to see what was out there and I found this....

I have double checked Bilbao's official website and there is no Aitor Herrera and you will see that I have not mistaken him for Ander Herrera as he is there. They dont have his date of birth or anything so I should send them an e-mail! lol

I HAVE SOMEHOW MADE AITOR BECOME ALIVE!!

Bilbao and Barca battle to a draw with Herrera and Redaelli kept quiet
Bilbao wrap up Spanish Super Cup victory
Spain once again fail against Peru

A tough month with some really hard fixtures but we battled through to remain unbeaten. We thumped Sevilla impressively before earning a draw away to Barcelona. We rounded off the month with a hard fought draw away to Valencia.

Looking at the table is quite scary I admit with us being midtable fodder. lol

OCTOBER

Bilbao get 2 great away wins in Europe
Valcarcel to be sold at the end of the season
Real Madrid and Bilbao fight out a draw
Spain beat Scotland and Armenia

A very good month although the table looked even scarier after we drew against Real Madrid. However in the first 5 league games we played Valencia, Barca and Real away from home and came out unscathed so that bodes well.

Was extremely pleased with my 2 wins in the Champions League as we could so easily have slipped up but we came through in tight games.

Bilbao drop more points - this time to Atletico Madrid away
Thrilling 3-3 draw was had against Napoli
Oceano Hondo N'Dongo goes goal crazy!
Spain narrowly win against Serbia and Australia in friendlies

Another tough month of fixtures and again we come through unscathed. Cant believe thst in the first 9 games we played away to Barca, Valencia and both Madrid sides. Against Napoli we were behind once and threw away the lead twice plus both sides had one chalked off.

DECEMBER

Bilbao still not top of the league
Ten goal thriller in the Club World Cup
Bilbao capture the FIFA Club World Cup again
Bilbao to play Bayern Munich in the Champions League

Goals galore as in 6 games we scored 26 times! My backup players got a few outings this month and destroyed teams such as Dortmund and Wydad Casablanca as well as putting 5 past Cruz Azul. In that match against Cruz Azul we were 3-1 down with 20min left and then went 4-3 up in stoppage time before throwing our lead away!

The B team is once again leading the pack in the Liga Adelante.

(something I have noticed is that no matter who I draw in the cup - be it Man City, Bayern, Chelsea etc - in the press conferences etc it is always seen as an easy draw !!!)

A month packed full with fixtures where we lost for the first time but it matter! After sneaking past Sevilla in the cup we destroyed Sociedad so the second leg defeat didnt bother me. Alfredo has been shocking this season and to be fair we are lacking a regular goalscorer. Aitor is still getting millions of assists though!

A great month. Didnt think we would be able to top the excellent result and performance against Bayern Munich but we did when we demolished Barcelona 6-0! In that game I decided to pick the unfit Garmendia and Herrera and both starred. Aitor may not score as many as he used to but he still has nearly 30 assists already.

Speaking of Aitor - he signed a new one year deal and taking a £70,000 a week pay cut in the process.

Yep - was on £165,000 a week and now on £95,000 a week. I always negotiate older players contract in Jan or Feb so they ask for less.

Paying some of my average youngsters £10k a week which is far too much so Aitor's pay cut balances it off I suppose
 
KLIPPY what role did you play Muniain in? IF or Winger? jw because he was doing okay for me as a winger but hes been incredible since I switched it to inside forward

Winger - played the first 5 or 6 years as lw but when I got Perez Villarroya I chucked him over to the right.

Another solid month. The highlight was probably the win over Valencia and the disappointment was the draw in the Champions League as there were teams such as PSV and Benfica left but we got Inter Milan.

A half decent striker came in via the youth intake but nobody that blew me away. Need a quality striker soon as Alfredo has been shocking this year.

An edited 12.2.0 database. Not many changes to it when I started and the only one I can remember involving Bilbao was making Amorebieta have Venezuela as his first nationality.

Most of the other changes involved the English and Scottish leagues - have a completely new database now though for when I start my next Newcastle save.

ok thanks KLIPPY cant wait for your newcastle one!, i just started my own save today with bilbao using the default database but i was wondering if i should use the update or not, is there a major difference between the update and the default? and should i start a new save w the update?
