Best CBs on Fm11

Can't go wrong with the German back line. Toprak, Howedes, Badstuber, Mertesacker. Have all 4 on my Bayern save. At least two make the top three defender list year in and year out.
 
i think john terry and Chiellini are the best partnership in FM2011....john terry win defender of the year for 2011 season and the next year Chiellini...hahaha...bought Chiellini only 35M.....for the wonderkid i bought Leonel Galeano...
 
bruno alves-quality im newcastle and bought him for 15 million at the start of my third season as newcastle have a very weak defence and i ha ve already recieved 40million pound bids from arsenal,man united and athletico madrid my best signing after neymar and eden hazard

There's a slight possibility that after 3 months he already solved his problem.
 
Alex, he is so solid, and comes up with quality goals from corners if you use a far post tactic. Plus he's good at free kicks and penalties.
 
Kjaer is unbelievably good. Only lacks agression, which if anything is good since he gets less cards.
After a season Phil Jones is unplayable (if he rolls a good PA)

I've not heard him talked about much, but I've always got massive success from Massimo Volta. Excellent CB for an excellent price.
 
Neven Subotic is an all round quality defender. Really dangerous if you use him for far post corners he'll nod in 20 a season easily. Really big physically id have him stopper with Chiellini as a cover.
 
You guys all realize that this thread is 3 months old and that the OP probably signed someone and maybe even moved on to a new save?
 
hey guys i just brought neven subotic for my liverpool save , im playing with my friend doing network play but im having troubles with him , as you can see his concentration is a 9 and i really want to sort this out because i hear good this about him in threads ...does anyone know if he gets better as he play along or is there any way of training him on that ??? im thinking of getting kjear because hes making mistakes i play his as cover if anyone can give me any advice i would much appreciate it thanks !!!

subotic is goob cb but can be be flakey at times i think benedkt howdes is better from schalke

has he got a better concentration on ur save craig coz i mite just replace him with kjaer or howdes ??? people keep sayin hes quality but how can he be if he makes mistakes ???

not on game at min but i always buy the one from schalke is cheaper and more reliable imo mate
 
in my real save pepe won back to back defender of the year award in my first 2 seasons than i sold him and i had subotic with sakho as centrebacks and had the best defence in the league in the first 2 season barca beat me cuz they have that monster pique which is incredible so young centre backs Subotic-Sakho does one **** of a job for me recommend

P.S:when i said barca beat me i was referring to best defense in the league cuz against barca in 14 games i have 10 wins 3 draws and 1 loss
 
I use Howedes and Vermaelen, class defence, conceded only about 10-15 goals per season, and they are usually top 2 in the best defender of the year in my arsenal save.
