Last night me and my friends had a big discussion and the topic was.


Who was the best passer of the ball in history ?


By my name it is pretty obvious who it is IMO. Just wondering who gets everyone else vote.


If i have missed out any please feel free to discuss.

scholes, easily because he can pass the ball about short range or the length of the pitch and always 2 perfection

Exactly what one of my friends said. However would you not agree in terms of long passing alonso and pirlo are as good as scholes
 
From what I've personally seen I'd have to say Xavi & Scholes.
 
Out of that list I voted Alonso.
 
Guti is a great passer, but I got to go for Xavi, Alonso or Fabregas.
 
Oh no, dont put a poll up. Much as I love him, mentioning Beckham in the same breath as Beckenbauer or Zidane is ridiculous. Same sort of goes for Guti.
 
I voted Alonso, and whilst i am a liverpool fan, I genuinely feel he was/ is the best passer in the world. Can't give my vote to xavi, he does the short passes no problem but rarely do you see him attempt the 30 yard passes. If there was a vote for best posession keeper he'd get it

Looking at it i probably have missed out a few, i do think everyone does deserve a mention . I am shocked that zidane and Laudrup have so little votes however.
