1 Current first team injury:
Hatem Ben Arfa (AMRC) - 3 weeks (twisted ankle)

3 Current first team injuries:
Rafael (D/WBR) - 2-3 months (broken foot)

Robin van Persie (ST) - 12-14 days (twisted ankle)

2 Current first team injuries:
Branislav Ivanovic (DRLC) - 1-4 days (pulled hamstring)
David Luiz (DC/DM) - 6-9 days (twisted knee)

Player of the month: David Silva (AMRLC) 7.40
3 Current first team injury:
Aleksandar Kolarov (D/WBL) - 1-4 days (twisted ankle)
Jesus Navas (M/AMR) - 2-5 weeks (broken leg)

Danny Rose (D/WB/M/AML) - 3 days (flu)
Mousa Dembele (M/AMC) - 5-7 weeks (torn hamstring)

Arsenal (7th; 53pts; +5) - the Gunners made a strong bid to qualify for Europa League by going through April unbeaten, only dropping points in a home draw with Manchester City.

5 Current first team injuries:
Thomas Vermaelen (DLC) - 3 weeks (back strain)

Player of the month: Glen Johnson (DR) 7.22
8 Current first team injuries:
Daniel Agger (DC) - 6-8 weeks (dislocated shoulder)
Martin Kelly (DRC) - 5 days (flu)

Urby Emanuelson (ML/AMRL) - 4-7 days (gashed leg)
Victor Moses (ML/AMRLC) - 1-4 days (groin strain)
Coutinho (AMLC) - 4-5 weeks (broken arm)
Hernanes (MC/AMLC) - 3-4 weeks (sports hernia)

Other teams to watch:

Southampton (6th) and Aston Villa (8th) have a chance of qualifying for Europa League if they can claim the only remaining quota (7th will lose it to FA Cup finalists Fulham).

Fulham (16th) and Hull (17th) are still in danger of relegation - the Cottagers need a single point to pair their trip to Wembley for the FA Cup final with safety while Hull will need at least four points to be certain of survival.

Norwich, West Brom and Liverpool occupy the bottom three but all of them can still make it out if results go their way!

Manuel Pellegrini has been fired by Manchester City president Khaldoon Al Bubarak. Pellegrini's departure is thought to have been triggered by the club's poor league position, forcing Manchester City into a decision. The former Malaga employee had been manager at the Etihad since July 2013. Manchester City finished the season in 4th place in the English Premier League after failing to win any of their last six games.

Fourth not good enough for City as Pellegrini gets the sack!

According to the bookies, Juventus head coach Antonio Conte is the person the Man City board might look to appoint should they be allowed the approach. Conte joins a high-profile list of names which include such soccer luminaries as Jurgen Klopp, Diego Simeone and Rafa Benitez.

Odds for next Manchester City manager:
3-1 Antonio Conte (Juventus)
5-1 Jurgen Klopp (Dortmund)
5-1 Diego Simeone (Atletico Madrid)

Odds for next manager to get the sack:
2-1 Martin O'Neill (Cardiff)
2-1 Martin Jol (Fulham)
2-1 Steve Bruce (Hull)

Chris Hughton has been fired by Norwich City Managing Director David McNally. In failing to avoid relegation, Hughton's future became uncertain and the club will move forward with a new manager in charge. The former Birmingham employee had been manager at Norwich since June 2012. Norwich were relegated from the English Premier League after failing to win any of their last five games.

Hughton pays the price for relegating Norwich

Speculation as to Hughton's successor at Carrow Road is rife, with Derby County manager Steve McClaren being touted by the media as the favourite to get the nod. Lee Clark, Gianfranco Zola and Paul Ince have also been linked with the position.

Odds for next Norwich City manager:
3-1 Steve McClaren (Derby County)
5-1 Lee Clark (Birmingham)
6-1 Gianfranco Zola (Watford)

Odds for next manager to get the sack:
2-1 Martin O'Neill (Cardiff)
2-1 Martin Jol (Fulham)
2-1 Steve Bruce (Hull)

Norwich have announced that former club manager Lee Clark will be returning to the club to continue the job he left some time ago. The Norwich board declared that they were delighted to see forty-one year old Clark return to Carrow Road and they firmly believe they had the right person to take them to the top.

Newcastle look to conclude all-round dreams come true season with a treble after winning both the Premier League and the other domestic Capital One Cup. Surprisingly they face Fulham in the final. Experts are suggesting the Cottagers should be easy prey for the dominant Magpies but the Londoners appear quite satisfied with their huge underdogs status. The fact they reached this stage of the competition should be enough to convince the neutral viewers they have a chance of making this an even contest.

Team news:
Newcastle - Ben Arfa doubtful
Fulham - Sidwell suspended, Taarabt, Boateng and Kacaniklic injured, Berbatov and Richardson doubtful

FINAL SCORE: Newcastle United 3-1 Fulham

This final simply had it all! Fulham did their best to stay in the game after falling behind early and it paid off in the dying seconds of added time when a desperate cross lead to a disputable penalty awarded by the ref. It was all the Cottagers had to offer though as Newcastle showed amazing ability to switch to another gear in extra time and simply blew Fulham out of the game with a quick double. This win marks a glorious campaign for the Magpies as they have now completed a magnificent treble by adding the FA Cup to the Premier League and the Capital One Cup! Now let's take a look at match stats and individual performances:

FA Cup 2013/14 - holders Newcastle!

Swansea have announced fan favourite manager Michael Laudrup has chosen to accept the challenge of leading the sporting project of Atletico Madrid and therefore leaves the club with immediate effect. Laudrup enjoyed huge success with the Swans as he brought the club's first trophies at the Liberty stadium - the Capital One Cup in 2012/13 and the Europa League in 2013/14.
