@GobBluthJD, mate, wat do you do wen ur team as a slump? I started unemployed, got a job in Vanarama Conference, started with 4 w an 6 D (couldn't save the 1-0 results) - and then have 4 or 5 L in a row :(( As u can understand, I couldn' afford biying players or vary pre-matc tactics. Any advice?

Team talks are big in those situations. Be nicer than you normally would. If I'm away from home and I lose by 1 or tie, I always tell them calmly that I'm not happy. In a slump situation, I'll be nicer and tell them it wasn't our day, etc.

Other than that...the Vanarama Conf. is tough :P Try to ride it out until a transfer window and then go crazy with the free transfers (you can get a lot of people on amateur contracts who you don't have to pay anything at all!)
 
Can i see ur formation jjrroen? Ive some problems with my team ive no idea what im doing wrong.. Cuz i play after this "guide"..
 
I normally use your 4-3-3 tactic. Now I have some strikers out because of injuries. I'm very tempted to let my Ipswich team try this tactic. Maybe not the best time to change my tactic. Early september. Might be a gamble.

Might be worth a try. This tactic is the most stable one I've created.
 
Nice tactic mate. Do you add any specific training for the players? Function, preferred movement?
 
I just cant get it to work with Lower league teams man but i badly want to use the tactic cause its just so simple. I'll be giving it a go again.

I can prove that it helps. If ur squad is good enough, u'llbe winning in LLM. If not, use TTF OI and u'll overachieve for sure. It helped my Oldham finished 3rd in league 1 with media pred 11 - and almost no transfers

But I think if I use instant result, even with that combination, it would still be tough especially with "If ur squad is good enough", i doubt it.
 
you can try control mentality instead of counter, it works very well for me
