Everton Ease To Another Win

View attachment 271409

Burrows' 100% win streak continued today as his side eased past Red Star Belgrade in the 4th Round Qualifier. However once again his team should of scored more and will be very disapointed with only the one goal to go away with.

Everton 1 - 0 Red Star Belgrade
Jelavic

Jelavic continued his glistering start to his Everton career when he scored a free-kick in the first 3 minutes of the match - the goal delighted the fans and it looked to be a goal scoring game however Burrows' team couldnt turn shot/posession into goals and could pay the price in the second leg.

MOM - Jelavic - 1 Goal

Toffees Gun Down The Gunners

View attachment 271748

Everton produce a fine performance to come from a goal down to beat much favoured Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.

Arsenal 2 - 3 Everton
Jelavic,Nene,Pienaar

The game started off bright with both teams having chances, however a mistake from central defender Heitinga let Cazorla open the scoring past helpless Howard. Going in to the break Arsenal looked the better team but a goal from Jelavic and then Nene took the blues into the lead before Vermalenen equalised. However the scoring wasn't over when Pienaar got the winner.

MOM - Jelavic - 1 Goal 2 Assist

Everton Through To Group Stages

View attachment 271750

Burrows rests key players to finish the job at Belgrade. The popular manager roates starting XI to get the win!

Red Star Belgrade (0) 0 - 1 (2) Everton
Baines(p)

Everton dominated a match which was destined to be a victory for the blue as they comfortably won the match however the scoreline wouldn't agree. Jake's men hit the woodwork three times in this euro match. The winner came through a penalty in the first half as their centre-back fouled Jelavic in the box in which Leighton comfortably dispatched in to the top corner.

Everton know that to progress they will have to get results off both Feynoord and Bordaeux who look to be the main threats however 4th seed Hannover still look to give The Toffees a tough match especialy over in Germany.

In Other News the Capital One Cup third round draw was also drawn, which granted Everton an away tie at Aston Villa.

Everton Produced a good display to overcome a good Aston Villa side. The win made sure Everton have got 9 points out of 9 so far in the league.

Everton 2 - 1 Aston Villa
Jagielka,Jelavic

In the dress rehersal of the Third Round in the Capital One Cup the game started off bright with Everton the most likely to score. The first goal of the game came through Jagielka when he turned in a corner. Then just before Half Time Aston Villa got their equaliser. The second half started the same as the first and when Jelavic got the goal to be the winner the fans were delighted

First Loss For Burrows

View attachment 271765

In what was a very close match, with Everton - a new formed passing side keeping most of the possesion scuppered to a loss against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea 2 - 0 Everton

Chelsea were favourite for the match however the better team on the day was Everton and a draw looked likely, that was until the 66th minute when Bulgarian striker Berbatov scored the opener, it didnt stop there when in the 79th minute French veteran Florent Moulda scored the all decisive goal to leave Burrows thinking what could of been.

Bordeaux Hold Out For Draw

View attachment 271785

It was suppose to be a tight affair however Everton blew the french team away with their attacking passing play however the curse of no goals hit again as they couldnt get the goals they deserved

Girodins Bordeaux 0 - 0 Everton

The first match in the Europa League Group stage got under way in France and Everton turned it on from the start. However 13 missed chances later and they came away with a only a draw. With a Bordeaux player being quoted 'We were lucky tonight, another day it cold of been a different story.'

Once Again Everton Unlucky

View attachment 271788

Lady luck shone on Newcastle as their team held Everton to a draw at Goodison Park in the early Kick off.

Everton 1 - 1 Newcastle
Nene

The match was very tight in the first half hour with both teams having not much chances, however it was newcastle that opened the scoring soon after half - time against the run of play. Everton had a shout from Nene for a penalty but ref waved play on much to the anger of supporters and manager alike. Just after that Nene scored a powerful efforts to silence the crowd.

Everton only just scraped through as they held off a tough ask from Aston Villa in a game that they didnt control.

Aston Villa 0 - 1 Everton
Jelavic

Everton got off to a flyer when Jelavic snatched the ball of the full back and raced in to the box to score past the keeper who stood there helpless. As the game wore on Aston Villa tried to gain control and ****** an equaliser but Jake's boys held on a kept going up until the final whistle.

United Defeat The Toffees

View attachment 271869

Everton produced a good display against a very strong United team, but were defeated at Old Trafford this evening.

Man United 2 - 0 Everton

The match started off well for Everton as they controlled the best part of the half however it was United who broke the deadlock in the 45th minute through Valencia. It couldn't of come at a worse time with Burrows hoping to hold on until half time. The next goal came in the 70th minute through none other than Wayne Rooney. Jake's boys pushed and pushed but unfortunatly to no avail.

MOM - Van Persie

Everton Super Show!

View attachment 271882

The Toffees played very well to beat Feynoord in the Europa League Group Stage, Everton got their first win in the Group stage and now have 4 points out of a possible 6.

Everton 3 - 1 Feynoord
Pienaar(2),Vellios

The lads were fantastic tonight as they blew Feynoord away tonight. The blues got off to a cracker as in the 13th minute Pienaar connected with a diving header to put his team ahead. The second goal came through nothing as the ball was pinging all over the box until it fell to Vellios who twisted and turned to get into space before putting the ball in to the net. The third came from a lovely move through the heart of midfield, the provider - neville played Steven in who slotted the ball in to the corner.

MOM - Pienaar - 2 Goals
