Burrows' 100% win streak continued today as his side eased past Red Star Belgrade in the 4th Round Qualifier. However once again his team should of scored more and will be very disapointed with only the one goal to go away with.

Jelavic continued his glistering start to his Everton career when he scored a free-kick in the first 3 minutes of the match - the goal delighted the fans and it looked to be a goal scoring game however Burrows' team couldnt turn shot/posession into goals and could pay the price in the second leg.

The game started off bright with both teams having chances, however a mistake from central defender Heitinga let Cazorla open the scoring past helpless Howard. Going in to the break Arsenal looked the better team but a goal from Jelavic and then Nene took the blues into the lead before Vermalenen equalised. However the scoring wasn't over when Pienaar got the winner.

Everton dominated a match which was destined to be a victory for the blue as they comfortably won the match however the scoreline wouldn't agree. Jake's men hit the woodwork three times in this euro match. The winner came through a penalty in the first half as their centre-back fouled Jelavic in the box in which Leighton comfortably dispatched in to the top corner.
Today manager Jake Burrows was at the Europa League Group Stage draw as his team were seeded 2nd. Burrows was hoping for a good group to be ale to progress to the next stage however Everton were pulled out in to Group A with Feynoord,Bordaeux and Hannover.
Everton know that to progress they will have to get results off both Feynoord and Bordaeux who look to be the main threats however 4th seed Hannover still look to give The Toffees a tough match especialy over in Germany.
In Other News the Capital One Cup third round draw was also drawn, which granted Everton an away tie at Aston Villa.

In the dress rehersal of the Third Round in the Capital One Cup the game started off bright with Everton the most likely to score. The first goal of the game came through Jagielka when he turned in a corner. Then just before Half Time Aston Villa got their equaliser. The second half started the same as the first and when Jelavic got the goal to be the winner the fans were delighted

Chelsea were favourite for the match however the better team on the day was Everton and a draw looked likely, that was until the 66th minute when Bulgarian striker Berbatov scored the opener, it didnt stop there when in the 79th minute French veteran Florent Moulda scored the all decisive goal to leave Burrows thinking what could of been.
It was suppose to be a tight affair however Everton blew the french team away with their attacking passing play however the curse of no goals hit again as they couldnt get the goals they deserved

The first match in the Europa League Group stage got under way in France and Everton turned it on from the start. However 13 missed chances later and they came away with a only a draw. With a Bordeaux player being quoted 'We were lucky tonight, another day it cold of been a different story.'
Lady luck shone on Newcastle as their team held Everton to a draw at Goodison Park in the early Kick off.

The match was very tight in the first half hour with both teams having not much chances, however it was newcastle that opened the scoring soon after half - time against the run of play. Everton got off to a flyer when Jelavic snatched the ball of the full back and raced in to the box to score past the keeper who stood there helpless. As the game wore on Aston Villa tried to gain control and ****** an equaliser but Jake's boys held on a kept going up until the final whistle.
Everton produced a good display against a very strong United team, but were defeated at Old Trafford this evening.

The match started off well for Everton as they controlled the best part of the half however it was United who broke the deadlock in the 45th minute through Valencia. It couldn't of come at a worse time with Burrows hoping to hold on until half time. The next goal came in the 70th minute through none other than Wayne Rooney. Jake's boys pushed and pushed but unfortunatly to no avail.

The Toffees played very well to beat Feynoord in the Europa League Group Stage, Everton got their first win in the Group stage and now have 4 points out of a possible 6.

The lads were fantastic tonight as they blew Feynoord away tonight. The blues got off to a cracker as in the 13th minute Pienaar connected with a diving header to put his team ahead. The second goal came through nothing as the ball was pinging all over the box until it fell to Vellios who twisted and turned to get into space before putting the ball in to the net. The third came from a lovely move through the heart of midfield, the provider - neville played Steven in who slotted the ball in to the corner.
