Manchester United today announced that Aston Villa defender Ciaran Clark has joined the club in a £10million deal, the move is thought to also include an £11million buy back clause as the Aston Villa chairman wasn't keen to part with his prize asset. Sir Alex Ferguson praised Clark on his versatilty and his skill as a defender, 'We can now boast one of the best defences in football so I am delighted that Ciaran has joined us!'
Clark joins on £36k a week and chairman Maarten Vos said that the transfer had been all but confirmed for the last few days but is now looking forward to the young defender showing he's got what it takes to play in red.

One in one out, as Spurs alter striking optionst

Tottenham Hotspur have announced the deal to sign Mario Balotelli from Manchester City for a reported fee of 18million. With the striker being on 150k a week, it is believed the Manchester club will contribute towards the wages

Spurs have brought in the Italian after the departure of Emannuel Adebayor. The Togo international has left WHL for fellow London club Fulham in a 12million deal

Marshall had this to say: ' With Mario you never know what you are going to get, but it is a player i like with enormous ability. I look forward to seeing AVB bringing out the best in Balotelli '

Fulham Finally Bolster Striking Options

View attachment 304658

Fulham have finally, just a few hours before the transfer deadline, added the striker that they have been tracking for the whole window after the capture of prolific striker Emmanuel Adebayor from Tottenham for a reported £12m fee.

"Since the sale of Dimitar Berbatov to spurs for £9m we have been trying to replace him with someone who is equally able to change a game, we have done this by bringing in Emmanuel Adebayor. Although the fee is slightly above what we have wanted to pay, we were desperate to sign a striker and so Adebayor was the best option. We now have a more than capable strike force of Emmanuel, Crouch and Petric and between the three rotating I believe that they can strike us into Europe this season."

Fire Sale at Tyneside.

Newcastle United have confirmed that Chairman Santiago Munez has made each and every Player at the Club available for Transfer

Trowers: "2 Deals in the PipeLine"

Scott Trowers has revealed he is close to completing 2 big-money deals, but cannot confirm the 2nd until the 1st is completed, due to needing funds coming in.

He has also appologised to United Owner Vos, mysteriously saying "Sorry about the delay, unfortunately Kai is confusing things rather alot. I hope to get everything sorted out very soon!"

Fulham announce two more signings

View attachment 304678View attachment 304679

Fulham have announced that Sebastian Squillaci and Richard Dunne are joining the club both on loan from Arsenal and Villa respectively.
Squillaci deal involves Fulham playing 100% wages and the Dunne deal invloves a £1m fee as well as 100% wages being paid and if Fulham get european football at the end of the season then Dunne will join the club permanantly for £3m.

"We had a comprehensive look at the squad and noticed that the defence was lacking in quality in the central department, both of these two signings provide both quality aswell as the experience that could be needed to take the club to the next level."

"All the transfer dealings between us and other chairmen is now over, I will not be looking at selling or buying any more players today as i dont want to have to rush through the paperwork at the last minute."
