Manchester United chairman Maarten Vos today shelled out £9.5m to sign three talented youngsters to the pleasure of United fans. Brazilian international Wellington Nem joins for £3.5m after Utd met his release clause, Chilean defender Eugenio Mena has also signed for £4m, with the dutch billionaire tipping Mena for future success. The third signing was Crewe youngster Max Clayton. The United fans are especially looking forward to seeing Nem in red as the Fluminese star has attracted interest from several premier league clubs this year.

Stoke Complete Chairman Transfer Dealings With A Smile

New Stoke City chairman, James Bradley, earlier tweeted that he was delighted that all targets had been finalised and that he was done with his part in the transfer window. This saw the arrival of French wonderkid wing back, Serge Aurier, from Toulouse for a fee just over £3m along with Mozambican defensive midfielder Simao from Chinese club Shandong. Stoke also completed 3 free transfers with the arrival of two experienced defenders in Ghana international John Mensah and premier league veteran Mikael Silvestre. Brazilian attacking midfielder Morais also joined. Bradley stated, 'We're delighted with our dealings so far in the market. Serge and Simao are both great prospects that should fit straight into the the starting lineup, along with the great experience we've found in Mikael and John. Morais is very much an unknown even to us, I was told to take a chance on the kid from a brazillian friend of mine and we'll just have to see how it goes." when asked if new boss Gus Poyet would have any money to splash around Bradley answered, 'I believe Gus is the best signing we have made thus far this season and I will be backing this belief with enough money for him to have a bit of freedom. He will receive around £6m as a transfer budget and will be in complete control with who he wants to play, sell or buy. Growth needs time and the man will have all the time he needs.

Marshall happy no transfers came through

Billie Marshall has today said some of the wages and transfer fee's of the players brought were ridiculous and is glad Tottenham failed in bids for certain players.

" We were interested in Butland, Hughes and Zaha but quite frankly got blown out the water by ridiculous amounts being offered "

" 45k and 50k for Zaha and Hughes is quite laughable, as Liverpool continue their poor transfer window "

" Butland was more reasonable, however seeing as the Man City owner is the creator, we didnt have a chance there as he knew all the offers "

West Bromwich Albion has secured three of the hottest properties in football in a transfer market breakthrough on Wednesday.

Leo Baptistao, the Rayo Vallecano striker, completed a £1.6m move to the Midlands on Wednesday, as did Alvaro Vadillo, the Real Betis explosive winger who will cost around £990k, and Croatian tank, Josip Radosevic from Hajduk for half a million pounds.

Sir Bobby Robson and Steve Clarke are delighted with their signings, with a clear view on the future. West Brom chairman SBR said: "This transfer window has proved very productive for us and these three young guns arriving is a massive plus for the club.

"They will bring drive and energy to the squad, they are hungry and have a genuine desire be to winners and that's why I'm especially pleased to have them with us.

"What all our signings this window bring is essential competition for places and that is great for a very long and strenuous campaign."

And, while SBR admitted rival clubs had made discreet enquires about some of his star players, he pledged West Brom would only sell if offered a massively inflated price for the likes of Jonas or George.

Transfer Round Up

Everton Chairman Tobey James has wrapped up this summer's spending spree with three potentially huge Transfers for the club. With Man Utd's Anderson and Aston Villa's Weimann already recruited it was suggested that the Toffee's were done with business in this summers Transfer Market but James has had other idea's as he continues to invest money into the club.

So with Everton continuing to strengthen James has signed Borek Dockal from Werder Bremen. The right winger has exceptial passing skills and can be lethal in front of goal. James and Moyes have both stated that they cannot wait to see him strutting his stuff on the right wing for Everton. They have also bought in Nurnburg's Hiroshi Kiyotake who has been dubbed the Japanese Messi by many who have been following his career. He has a habit of picking out a pass and will be important in his new teams build up play as he often chips in with an assist and the odd goal. Everton's third signing will arrive in January and that is BATE's Bressan who will arrive on a free. He is a more reserved midfielder in the Xavi mould. He looks to dictate play and it seem's that James want's his Everton club playing 'pretty' football this season with the signings of three technically gifted players.

Dockal -------------------- Kiyotake ----------------------Bressan

During the Transfer window James has also come out and criticised other clubs and chairmen for their behaviour regarding two of his players. Everton FC sent out stark warnings that neither Marouane Fellaini or Leighton Baines were for sale but that didn't stop certain clubs from entertaining bids, these were duely ignored and some of which were outright disrespectful. Other teams were unwilling to do business unless either player was involved with a transfer and James has called this behaviour "frustrating" and it felt like many clubs wanted Everton over a barrell when it came to Transfer deals. Everton will be hoping that both players stay and that other clubs will back off now as James has stated that they are not a selling club!

Clough later added "We were in the market for a few other players but bigger, wealthier clubs offered higher wages than I ever could have wished to have offered them. Obviously I am upset not to have got my two prefered targets of Mason (Bennett) and Will (Hughes), I would have loved to work with them again and I am sure that they will have a great future at their new clubs. I wish them the best of luck."

Liverpool Announce Four New Signings.
Earlier today it was announced that Liverpool have signed Wilfried Zaha, Kyriakos Papadopoulos and Will Hughes. Liverpool chairman stated "Will is a brilliant midfield, Wilfried an amazing striker and Kyriakos is going to fill the hole made by Jamie Carragher's decline."

He also clearly stated in the auction that Tom Ince was a reserve if Wilfried Zaha wasn't signed and wasn't impressed by the City chairman's reading ability.

Trowers Blasts Other Owners
Arsenal owner Trowers has today blasted the "Reckless spending" of several Premier League Chairmen, notably Liverpool, QPR and Everton. He has claimed that they have failed to keep within their means, and that they could struggle to make ends meet.

Trowers also hailed Tottenham Owner Billie Marshall, pointing out that he is the perfect example of how owner's should be running their clubs - not over-spending on transfers and making sure to maintain a healthy balance incase of "a rainy day".

He did feel, however, that Marshall should of probably made sure to make a couple of extra signings, with Trowers feeling the Tottenham squad will struggle to keep up with other big clubs on the league.

Everton Chairman Responds To Trowers Blast

After the remarkable outburst by Arsenal Chairman Scott Trowers, Tobey James has launched a stern defence of how he runs his club. James who has a usually placid nature has seemingly been riled by the Arsenal Chairman.

"If Trowers want's to criticise the way I and other Chairman run our clubs then that is up to him to spout on to the press about. Yes we have probably spent a larger sum of money than we are used to spending, but I am confident that we can claw it back in two ways; firstly by having a successful campaign and also by enjoying two good Cup runs in the Capital One Cup and the F.A Cup. It seem's to me that the Arsenal man is looking to add pressure to other Chairman, maybe he's starting to get nervous about his own clubs ability and now want's to unnerve other clubs to perhaps emplore some kind of mind game. He should however focus on his own team who have under performed for the past seven years! I feel that if they don't win a title this season Arsenal will be labelled a spent force and lose their status as one of England's top teams. I have seen nothing so far from Trowers that makes me think that Arsenal will succeed this season"

It certainly seems that the Arsenal chairman may have made a few enemies of late and may now have added pressure to his own side who probably won't thank him for it.

Reading Chairman enjoyed his holiday

Reading FC Chairman Scott Tillie was unexpectedly greeted at Heathrow Airport today by some reporters from the national papers and television companies. A surprised Tillie was met with startled looks, that clearly meant, "you are not who we expected"

The Royals Chief had just been on a 2 week vacation in his homeland with family when he arrived at Heathrow from Glasgow, a development that shocked most of the reporters. He was asked about the recent closure of the Chairman window and also the comments made by other Charimen:

"I spoke with Heiko (Vogel) before i left and instructed him that i had full faith in his ability to attract and sign players so therefore i wouldn't be making any bids for players myself. Some one emailed me the list of players signed by EPL clubs and to be brutally honest, i don't really care. It's good that these clubs have went out and got their men. Even if i was bidding, all the players i was looking at haven't been signed, so there is always January."

"Scotty Trowers and i get on quite well and i have a lot of time for him but he needs to reign in slightly. He is entitled to his opinion, of course but just needs to dampen the fire a bit. That being said i do think some of the wages and Fee's paid are ridiculous but if you can afford it then why not? It shouldnt be up to the other Chairmen to pass judgement, even if a club did struggle financially then surely thats a blessing for the rest of us?"

As he finished and started to leave he stopped and turned and in typical Scottish sarcastic style said: "oh and i enjoyed my break........ thanks for asking" to which he received a few laughs.

Wigan Athletic are pleased to announce the signings of Ruben Yttergård Jenssen from Tromsø Idrettslag and Jesé Rodríguez Ruiz from Real Madrid.

Ruben Yttergård Jenssen is a 24 year central midfielder who has been a regular member of the Norwegian national team since 2010. Jenssen has declared his delight at joining the Premier League outfit and also said that he is excited at playing alongside countryman John Arne Riise.

Jesé Rodríguez Ruiz is a highly regarded 19 year old spanish attacking midfielder. This transfer has been lauded as an impressive move by the Latics, and it is believed that a lack of first team opportunities led to the young Spaniard pursuing a move away from the reigning Spanish champions.

(Please excuse the shoddy photoshopping haha)
