Mr Slean joins the Murphy and Pulis dynasty

Sky sources understand that just hours after completing 8 new signings Aidan Murphy and Tony Pulis have announced a new joint chairman, Matthew Slean. Mr Slean who scored 319 goals for Crystal Palace as a player in a potent partnership with fellow striker Aidan Murphy has joined the club and is sure to add vital experience to the club. It is also no surprise that Aidan Murphy had lengthy discussions with his right hand man Pulis about the idea of Slean returning to club as a chairman. Sky sources also believe it was Tony Pulis who pushed the deal through after being informed that Mr Slean stepped down from his job at Norwich. Mr Slean who had a short stint at Norwich with Mark Kelly (SparkStriff) but was forced to leave after being betrayed and let down is said to be delighted to move away from the sinking ship that is Norwich City. When asked about the deal Murphy said , '' This is surely a deal that will excite the fans. We now have two club legends at the head of the club. I am absolutely delighted to announce Matthew Slean as joint chairman as he undoubtedly agrees with our philosophy and is ready to work hard to keep this club in the Premier League. The stage is now set for us to battle in the Premier League and turn this club into a worldwide force. Importantly Tony was fully behind this deal and Mr Slean believes there is no better manager than Tony to take the club forward. We have both acknowledged that there must be a 100% agreement between us before we make any decisions regarding the club and that Tony must also consent to our decisions before we make them.''

Mr Slean had this to say moments ago , '' I felt this was the correct path for me to go after being completely betrayed and disrespected by Kelly. He spend 17 million on players I did not agree with and has clearly lost all respect from the Norwich City fans. Therefore when I got the call from Aidan who I had a partnership at Palace at a playing level I was delighted and grabbed the job with both hands. I am fully behind the Pulis reign and is confident that the club is moving forward with experienced members of authority. It is clearly a wonderful and fantastic time to be at Palace and I can't wait to start work.''

Mr Slean will begin work immediately and has already been tasked to scout talent for January along with Aidan. Slean will also be in charge of working with Murphy to ensure the club is kept financially stable and will have regular discussions with Pulis and Murphy over transfers. Finally, Mr Slean will also represent the club at meetings with Aidan and is free communicate with fellow managers to negotiate transfer deals.

This deal will surely only strengthen the Crystal Palace empire and will destroy any hopes of Norwich City staying in the Barclays Premier League.

I don't mind the money thing just as long as you're punished if you go into debt!

Manchester City Chairman Calls Press Conference

Reporter - So you have called this press conference in the light of recent remarks by the West Ham Owner?

Cool M Cool - Yes it seems he has his knickers in a twist about some transfer dealings that didnt go through.

Reporter - Enlighten us on what occurred?

Cool M Cool - Simple, Better deals became available before the end of the window, Maybe if the West Ham Chairman was not such a cheap skate his targets would not have slipped through his fingers. I didnt not mean any disrespect i can hardly remember half of the players we got rid off hence why they went.

Reporter - Did you try to contact the West Ham Owner?

Cool M Cool - Yes as a peace offering i offered him John Guidetti on a free transfer but he never responded, I know see him complaining on social media and felt i needed to respond.

Reporter - Will you be dealing with West Ham and there Chairman again?

Cool M Cool - I can assure you i will never deal with the West Ham Chairman again after this outburst, Im sure this wont affect Manchester City as we would never need a player at the level of West Ham.

Hull About To Cause More Of A Stir After Bruce Sacking

Hull City owner Tobey Mason was at the centre of another questionable debate last night after sacking Steve Bruce. When Mason arrived at the club he gave his support to Bruce and it looked like the Hull manager was safe from the chop. However only mere days after this and Bruce has been given his marching orders!

The reason for his sacking comes in the news that due to Mason's fashion business' he ended up meeting with Victoria Beckham as both attended a Gala Charity gig held by the Gucci fashion label. It's reported that Mason had jokingly asked Victoria to ask David if he wanted the manager's position. It seem's that the former Pop-Princess did just that and Mason was soon answering his phone to the former United star. Beckham had admitted that starting up a franchise in the USA had been too complicated and too time consuming but that he was interested in management.

Mason immediately set up a meeting with Bruce and dismissed the ageing manager. Steve went as far as calling Mason despicable and underhand. Beckham has joined on a two year deal and is on the same wage as his predecessor.

Money, Money, Money

That's what makes the world go round. Mason has been painted as a villain recently and Hull are fast becoming a 'hated' team among their rivals. Mason has spent perhaps more than his club can handle but see's no reason why other Chairman continually seem to make it their business to interfere with Hull. He stated that perhaps other Chairman have too much time on their hands or that they maybe be jealous because they don't have the 'balls' to take a risk. He has noticed that no one has come out in support of Hull and that all the press in negative. He admitted to having made tough decisions, some decisions which could backfire but Mason has told the press that he feels his squad is good enough now to challenge for the Europa League. If we aim high, and believe then anything can happen. He has taken to twitter recently and he and the fans are carrying the hashtag...

West Ham respond to CoolmCool Comments!

Sky Sports Reporter: Have you heard the comments made by CoolmCool this evening?

Discla1m3r - I have indeed, I found them quite funny to be honest... ''Cheap skate'', doesn't he realize who West ham are? We have hardly any money, not everyone has access to Oil money! :(
Although I would like to say if there are any wealthy, oily investors out there...come to West Ham and speak to me!!!

Sky Sports Reporter: Do you think you'll be affected by Manchester City stating they will not deal with West ham again?

Disclaimer89 - Not really, with the crazy wages Manchester city pay their players just try and convince them to play for the Manchester team, without disrespect they dont have the reputation of Manchester United, and those wages only getting larger; I doubt we will be able to afford such craziness in the near future! ;)

Sky Sports Reporter: Anything else you would like to add?

Disclaimer89 - Yes, there is actually. I do not agree with Manchester City chairman confirming deals and then simply not following though nor at least be respectful and informing us that he had changed his mind to give us a chance to bolster the squad with other targets in those positions!!

Crystal palace- 1/5- bad side to start with, bad signings and sold the only 2 players with any sort of potential in their squad.

Cardiff - 20/1 - Inexperienced manager and no major signings. Long season ahead

Tony Pulis - 2000000/1 boring boring pulis

Jose Mourinho 3/1 Proven world class manager.

Mauricio Pochettino 7/1 - Good side and a very good manager.

Ernesto Valverde - 3/1

Valverde inexperienced? He managed espanyol to runners up in the Uefa cup a few years ago, won 6 trophies with olympiacos(admittedly not an achievement) and finished 5th in la liga last season. He is inexperienced in the premier league but so was mourinho till he came chelsea and with the budget I have set Valverde I'm aiming to challenge for top 10. He's more experienced than pulis but you just haven't heard as much of him as he isn't managing in the premier league. Don't understand how palace aren't favourites after some poor signings like pennant which the manager may not want whilst Valverde will sign his own players so has control over what he gets and isn't just getting players thrown on him
And modified your post a bit there for you mate^

Norwich City Owner: "Do chairmen know what their job is?"

"Its like a playground in a primary school", Irish chairman Mark Kelly stated, "Do these chairmen understand that they should be focusing on running a club, instead of bickering among themselves?" This is a family publication, and so these are the only quotes we are allowed to publish, as Kelly stormed in, and after staring at the back wall of the press room for a minimum of five minutes, began a foul mouthed tirade on the self proclaimed "new-age chairmen" who have taken over all twenty of the Premier League teams within the recent few weeks.

"What are your feelings about losing chairman Matthew Slean? Who Aidan Murphy has classed as a "tactical genius"?" "Who's that again? Oh, him? To be honest I'm glad he's gone. I have spoken to Murphy at length and, for his own sake, I have *ahem* suggested Murphy removes this partnership while he only has his pride at stake."

"These chairmen seem to think they are gaining some sort of upper hand with their childlike, inappropriate backhands to each other, it's a sad state of affairs. I don't quite understand why chairmen like Aidan Murphy are posting odds through their press releases." Kelly continued, "And how on earth can this dolt get away with having that type of money?! How much would he have to pay some shody bookmaker to be able to publish such gibberish!?"

"Still a better way to spend some money compared to buying Charlie Adam..." a bearded sleuth smirked from his a few rows back. A boot flies across from the front of the room, accurately striking him from ten yards. "Any more questions?!" the ever reddening man enquired, "Actually.." begins a young person around 16, "What are your thoughts on relegation candidates?"

Kelly removed the foam from around his mouth and simply stated "It would be unwise and inappropriate to tell my thoughts this early in the season... Lets just say I would bet Matthew Etherington that Palace will be relegated.." And with that, he disappears fourty-five minutes early, leaving many confused journalists formulating complaints.

Hypocritical Kelly and Delusional Tan

After Mark Kelly's outburst it is clear that Murphy's statement about Slean's departure has affected the Norwich chairman. He has clearly been angered and riled by the comments and the news that he has thrown a boot at a media officer is shocking and disturbing for any football fan. When pressed on the matter Murphy said , ''I'd just have to question his integrity on the matter. He clearly has been riled by my comments'' smirked Murphy. When asked was he playing mind games with his opposite chairmen, '' Take of it what you will but it's clear Kelly is completely out of his depth as we see his lack of experience and knowledge of the game. I actually found it quite funny to see a chairmen crumble in front of my own eyes on Sky Sports News even before the season started.'' When asked what trick he had up his sleeve next Murphy said ,'' Well I don't want to embarrass Kelly any further, he's already made a show out of himself and is clearly contradicted himself when he said that he thinks I'm unprofessional and then says that Palace will go down. I have no doubt that he has been influenced by Slean's departure and is feeling the pressure'' before bursting into laughter at the pitiful Kelly.

When asked on Vincent Tan's reply to Sky Bet's odds, '' Well I think it's just another chairman that's falling into the Murphy trap. I was only stating the fact that I wouldn't want a manager that has been sacked by Villarreal and Valencia'' smirked the charismatic Murphy. Clearly Murphy feels he holds all the cards in this battle and has already took the lead 1.0 on the relegation mind games.
