Nightclub Tycoon buys Sunderland A.F.C!

Ellis Short has today announced he has sold Sunderland to businessman Tam McCann. McCann, 25 has made his money within the night life business and owns Nightclubs across the UK.

There has been speculation whether or not McCann was the right man to sell to with rumors suggesting that his money is "dirty" and could soon be in bother with the authorities but McCann quickly shot down those rumors by today saying, "I'm very excited about this new challenge for myself and I intend to do my best to make the fans proud of there Club again. I strenuously deny that the way I go about making my money is wrong, I've never done or dealt with anyone illegally"!

Asked about Gus Poyet's future at the Club McCann said, "I'll be sitting down with Gus to see what his outlook is and we will see what happens from here". Sources are saying McCann is about to launch an audacious bid to land a former Champions League Winning Manager to The Stadium of Light but who could that be!?

Al Fayed waves goodbye to the Fulham Fans

View attachment 433355

Mohamed Al Fayed has confirmed he has sold Fulham to multiple lottery winner, bornexplorer88 who already has begun spending his small fortune on other various ventures.

The transaction has been approved by the Barclays Premier League. bornexplorer88 assumes 100 per cent ownership of the club, debt-free. A formal announcement is scheduled to take place at on Saturday at Craven Cottage.

'My time of serving as the custodian of Fulham Football Club would one day come to an end, and I feel that time has now arrived,' Al Fayed said. "The time is right because I have found a very good man in bornexplorer88 to accept the responsibility and privilege that I have enjoyed at Fulham since 1997.

[bornexplorer88]

'Fulham will be in very good hands with bornexplorer88, whose business know-how and passion for the sport is very evident. I ask everyone who loves Fulham and our Craven Cottage home to welcome him as he begins his journey as the next guardian of Fulham Football Club.'

bornexplorer88 added: "I was recently very fortunate to have been introduced to Mohamed Al Fayed, a man I respect and admire immensely for what he has accomplished in his life and - above all - what he has given others.

'Today, he is handing over the privilege and responsibility of serving as the next custodian of Fulham Football Club. I am extremely honoured to accept and want to thank him, on behalf of everyone who loves Fulham, for his 16 years of exceptional service to the Club. Al Fayed rescued the club in its hour of need and has led it to a sustained place within the Premier League.

'Fulham is the perfect club at the perfect time for me. I want to be clear, I do not view myself so much as the owner of Fulham, but a custodian of the club on behalf of its fans. My priority is to ensure the club and Craven Cottage each have a successful future not only domestically but this club deserves to play in contential competition, a vision that fans of present and future generations can be proud of. We will manage the club's financial and operational affairs with prudence and care, with youth development and community programs as fundamentally important elements of Fulham's future.'

Motspur Park expansion in secret?
View attachment 433356
The new architecturally designed Fulham Training Centre has been built on 90 acres and is located around Motspur Park. It is the home of the Club's First Team and Academy and is now surely recognised as one of the best in Europe.

The state-of-the-art facility - which includes a covered artificial pitch, world-class player preparation areas, pool and hydrotherapy complex, altitude room, large-scale gymnasium and specialist sports rehabilitation suites - will support the Club's ambitions to attract, develop and retain the highest quality talent.

There are 16 grass pitches across the site including four dedicated solely for First Team Training and one and a half artificial outdoor pitches with floodlighting. The First Team Match pitch is built to exactly the same specification as the pitch at Craven Cottage.

The new Training Centre has been designed with environmental protection and sustainability in mind. The focus has been on enhancing and reinstating key features of the local environment including restoring historic hedgerows and field boundaries as well as significant additional planting, an organic kitchen garden and orchard.
The Club has planted over 150 new and semi-mature trees and thousands of new plants, hedges and flowers across the site in order to establish and enhance the ecological habitat.

'To ensure that the Club can continue to prosper and compete, we needed to expand and improve our facilities at Craven Cottage and our Training Centre, Motspur Park.' bornexplorer88 said.

These changes have certainly increased the club's chances of breaking into that formidable top-four, as they aim for the Champions League football. The financial future may seem depleted due to this investment, but bornexplorer88 ensures us that he is happy to pay the bill, and he promises more spending in the coming transfer window.

Fulham future is now more than certainly secure.

Stoke City Chairman

View attachment 469220

The new face of Stoke City, Chairman Gabriel Farrell, spoke today of his plans to revolutionise City's squad and philosophy.

'Stoke City have been a club surviving in the Premier League thus far. I want this club to thrive in this league rather than simply accept a relegation battle or mid-table as success.'

'I will be looking to buy affordable, young talent, both from Europe and the UK, though, of course, in line with our budget restrictions. Overturning an aging squad that can compete in the future is our highest priority.'

'This as well as getting the ball on the ground and playing attractive football. The rudimentary techniques Stoke have become famous for have got us to this position, but to take us to another level there must be a new style.'

He refused to comment on the manager situation, but speculation is rife that Mark Hughes, the man just appointed by the previous regime, is not seen as the man to take Stoke forward according to the chairman.

Breaking News From Villa park
News has spread the Randy Lerner has lost control of Aston Villa in a card game!!

Eddie "The Arm" Armavich is the new man in charge at Villa Park. The Arm made his fortune selling arms to the middle-east, not weapons, actual human arms. No one knew where he got these arms from but he would sell them to wealthy men as aphrodisiacs. Once his business went global he was banned from selling them and decided to start up a cat food business instead...the cat food includes meat, but WHAT meat is a mystery.

We have sent our top reporter down to have a chat with him and explain what actually happened???

Reporter: Hello Eddie and thanks for meeting with us.

The Arm: I'm the Arm to you....peasant.

Reporter: I'm sorry, The arm.

The Arm: that is quite alright, here have some cat food.

Reporter: um..no thank you. So please tell me how you acquired Aston Villa.

The Arm: Well as you know it was in a card game, we was playing poker and the stakes got a bit crazy. Randy was bragging that he was unbeatable so I put my cat food business on the table and dared him to put up Villa. He accepted and showed 4 ACES which as you know is a good hand. Then BAM I put down 5 KINGS and wipe that smile off his face. Little did he know that you can only get 4 kings and I had sneakily kept Kings up my sleeve the hole time hahaha.

Reporter: So you cheated to win the club

The Arm: yes, why? do you have a problem with that

Reporter: well I don't think that ethically you...

The Arm: what do ethics have to do with this it's business:

Reporter: I'm just saying that..

The Arm: I don't care what you think. That's it, bring me my machete!

Reporter: What?? why do you need that??

The Arm: Give me your arm little man!

Reporter: Oh god noooo
*Signal cuts out*

Another new owner makes a beloved club his plaything

In a slightly unusual turn of events, all 20 clubs have been sold within 24 hours to a variety of dictators, Middle-Eastern businessmen and some other very strange, scary men who aren't allowed with 100 meters of certain celebrities. In what will likely be nowhere near the back pages tomorrow, Mark Kelly has taken over the Carrow Road outfit, Norwich City.
View attachment 433338
(Not even in this fine publication)

Norwich are the latest team to be sucked of all their soul... *ahem* taken over by some generous rich men. The new owner stated that he doesn't want to remove the identity of the club, before revealing that the manager Chris Hughton has been sacked. Mr Kelly wryly grins as he tells that he replaced the manager with "a legend of football", before introducing Sami Hyypia to the press.

Kelly laughed and explained that he has brought in his friend as a chairman "for a bit of fun" and he is interested in a centerback, a full back and a winger in the transfer window, and if he gets the players he wants in then Hyypia will not have a huge budget but is expecting mid-table minimum.

Young billionaire buys Tigers

Previous owner Assem Allam has quit the club due to the FA rejecting his demands in changing the club name from "Hull City Tigers" to "Hull Tigers". A truly immature way of going around business. Yet the fans and faithful seem ecstatic about the departure. Many felt Allam had no passion for the footballing world and would have done more harm that good to their precious club given the time.

New owner Sam Fisher has taken over the hot seat at the club and reassured all fans that he shall not be changing the name and will put his utmost and honest best into improving and developing the club into a strong force.

First things first though, will Fisher be seeking a new manager to navigate the Tigers to the top. The answer is, "no". Fisher has stated his belief in Steve Bruce and understands any manager who brings a club to promotion should be offered the chance to prove themselves in the high division, before getting the chop. So far it would seem Fisher is giving the reins to the manager and letting Steve do what he wants. Only time will tell.

Walker Completes Liverpool Takeover!!

In a sudden turn of events Nathan Walker, a relativley unheard of billionaire, has bought the merseyside club from the previous owners.

He later added before leaving 'Anyone looking at Suarez can think again if Bale is worth 100m then so is Luis.'

Pulis and Murphy ; The Dynasty Begins

View attachment 470100
On the back of promotion to the Premier League , ex Irish International Aidan Murphy (42) who notched 67 goals in 72 games for Ireland and 357 goals for Crystal Palace in his 15 year playing career decided to join Palace as a chairman due to his legendary status within the club. As fans took to the streets Murphy has promised to take Crystal Palace to the next level both on and off the field with his right hand man Tony Pulis who he has described as ''one of the best managers in the Premier League.'' Later we will hear live from Murphy on his beloved Crystal Palace's targets for their first season back in the big time, his ambitious transfer plans and the long term project he intends to build with Tony Pulis.

Live Press Conference

Q. Mike West from Sky Sports News here Aidan. You seem to be very supportive of manager Tony Pulis unlike many other chairmen , what are your aims for this season with Tony?

A. [Laughing] Well I'm fully aware of the rash decisions made at clubs such as Sunderland , West Ham and Norwich already, and I'm not the type that replaces proven Premier League managers such as Sam Allardyce or Tony Pulis. I think we only have to look at Tony's managerial spell at Plymouth and Stoke and the fact he has never been relegated as a manager to understand how truly outstanding he is. I do have upcoming aims for the season but I am not willing to discuss this in public at this moment.

Q. Do you have any transfer targets lined up?

A. I fully intend to sit down with Tony tonight to discuss where we need to strengthen. Tony is obviously notorious for working on tight purse strings so we'll hopefully be able to give him a little bit of money to take the club to the next level.

Q.Having only purchased the club in the summer how far do you believe you can take them in the future?

A. I plan on establishing Crystal Palace as a top club in the Premier League in the long term while ensuring that we are financially prudent at all times. I also plan on improving the club's training and youth facilities within time but there will be nothing radical at this moment due to the club's finances. I'm not one to talk the talk and not produce the goods so I promise to the fans that I am one of them and we are in this together.

Q. Have you discussed with Tony Pulis as to players that are up for sale?

A. No I plan on discussing it later but at the moment we are happy with our squad but we also hoping to improve the squad to be competitive in the Premier League. As of yet there are no players that we are looking to sell but me and Tony are aware that every player at this club has their value.

Q. Finally who are your tips to go down?

[Laughing] Well judging by some of the manager sackings and rumored managerial replacements I expect West Ham and Sunderland to go and after a brief glance at Cardiff's squad I expect them to go too but we shall see. Who knows?

Guy Fawkes' Consortium Behind Take-Over In Swansea City.

Today it was announced that Guy Fawkes and his Danish business-consortium, has bought the majority shares in Swansea City A.F.C. The new chairman applauded the good work there's been done in Swansea over the last years, and expressed his big admiration of the Danish manager, Michael Laudrup. Guy Fawkes is said to be a big fan of Laudrup, both as a player and as a team-leader. Therefore it seems like Laudrup, has a very secure position in the Welsh club.

The new board was not eager to talk about old or new faces at Liberty Stadium, but at a short press-meeting they said that Swansea should focus on player-development and being financially responsible. But the media is already speculating in rumours about Mr. Fawkes plans, to bring in some young-blood for the first European campaign since the early 90's.

The new board stated in a press-release, that they were looking forward to competing in four important tournaments. They also stated that apart from staying in the BPL and being the no.1 club in Wales, they have no particularly ambitions for the forthcoming season.

No more Blue days for Chelsea

Chelsea Football Club have today confirmed the rumours that Roman Abramovich has sensationally sold the London club. The statement released by Chelsea have named Scottish Engineering Tycoon Scott Tillie as the clubs new owner and Chairman. A press conference has been scheduled to introduce the new owner to Media and to fans.

Little is known about the young Scot who has made his Billions developing and manufacturing hydraulic parts for industries all over the world. All the news out of Glasgow that he is extremely passionate about his football having run a youth team since the age of 19.

A lot of Chelsea fans are sceptical but did anyone really know Abramovich when he came on the scene? Wither the fans love him or hate him, it does mark an exciting time to be involved with Chelsea Football Club.

Multi-millionaire buys the Toffees

Multi-millionaire has bought English Premier Division side Everton in a shock deal, Sky Sports News reports

Former chairman of Everton, Bill Kenwright, is said to have sold 51% of the club's shares to successful business owner Ian Allan in a deal of mass quantities. This has come as a surprise to the sporting world as there was no rumours of a change and Ian Allan has had no major involvement within the sport except attending a few matches with most notably the Champions League final between Arsenal and Barcelona seen in the crowd alongside then Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson. Upon the announcement, the new chairman Ian Allan held a press conference with many journalists in attendance.

Frank Helms (ITVSport) - Mr. Allan, what were your motives to purchase the club even though you have had no major interference within the football world?

I. Allan - Well, I have been a big supporter of the game although the only time I was noticed in the Champions League final as I was sat near Sir Alex. I have watched football since I was a kid, going to as many games as I could, staying up all night to watch football matches. As I am a big fan of football, the opportunity arose for myself to be heavily involved within the sport and I jumped at it.

Curtis Reynolds (BTSport) - What are your expectations of Everton for this season?

I. Allan - Well, I would like to win the Premier League and beat Liverpool 7-0. But seriously, I believe a top half finish is my minimum expectations of the club as we have the capabilities to qualify for Europe. However, many teams above us have improved drastically so we will need to fight if we are to get into Europe for next season. Also, a successful League Cup or FA Cup run wouldn't go unnoticed

Steven Smith (Sky Sports News) - Do you plan to keep Roberto Martinez as manager or do you plan to replace him?

I. Allan - Roberto Martinez is a great manager and perfectly suited for the club and will stay at the club. His place is not set in stone though as if the club are performing below expectations there may be talks of a possible replacement but that time is not now for I am yet to see his capabilities with the squad he has at his disposal

Joshua Knight (BBC Sport) - Do you have any plans with transfers for the club?

I. Allan - I will be working alongside Martinez to make transfers which will be best for the club. If an offer large enough is made for any player he can enter contract talks for myself and Martinez can get replacements of the same standard with some decent scouting.

Steven Smith (Sky Sports News) - What is the future for players such as Leighton Baines and Ross Barkley?
I. Allan - Many clubs are rumoured to be in the market for my players and as I said previously, if a high enough offer is made they will be allowed to enter contract talks as I can not keep them here if they wish to leave. Now if you may, I have a meeting with the coaching staff so I have to end this press conference here.

With Allan saying if bids of high enough value are made for players they can leave, could this be a new era for Everton. Only time can tell.
