Liverpool 0-2 Everton

Very dissapointed with the loss. Especially for it to be to our closest rivals and I can't make excuses we deserved to lose. The sending off of Nigel De Jong on his debut didn't help but that's football. Need to bounce back!

Liverpool 2-1 Arsenal (AET) (European Super Cup)

Our 5th piece of silverware in 2 years! Chamakh gave the Gunners the lead but when Babel equalised in the 94th minute to send it to extra time we never looked like losing. Just a minute into extra time itself Babel was there again to secure the win for us. Proud of the lads.

Liverpool 3-1 West Brom

Happy to record our first victory in 3 in the League. Was also nice to have Torres back as he opened the scoring and set up the other 2. Joe Cole got his first of the season and Gourcuff doubled his tally with a wonderful header.

Liverpool 5-0 Hull

I decided to go all out attack for this game as we were strong favourites. It certainly paid off as the scoreline reflects. It was good for the confidence as we had 5 different scorers, Mascherano picked up the man of the match after a faultless performance.

Liverpool 3-1 Villareal (UEFA Champions League)

After spending a season in the Europa League where the standard is no where near as high, I was happy to be back in the big time. Getting off to a good start was crucial and Cole made that happen after opening the scoring on 4 minutes. Gourcuff and Babel wrapped up the points for us.

Liverpool 3-1 Tottenham

After a great 5-0 win I was keen to push on and get the victory, we didn't perform our best but got the goals which is all that matters. Babel once again was outstanding and picked up the man of the match

Really Enjoying This Story So Far Mate And I Am Glad To See That You Recovered Your File

First time commenting on the story mate. Great season last year and good to see you have added another cup already keep up the good work :D

cheers lads :) update in around 20 minutes XD

Shall look out for it mate am hoping to get my next update for my new WBA story done soon as well. You think you will leave the pool after this season?

maybe, finances are **** lol, unless it improves i can't see me staying but i'm sticking out this season :)

Liverpool 4-0 Bristol City (League Cup 3rd Round)

A few youngsters were given a chance today, Pacheco, Mann and Pedro Botelho are just a couple who impressed. Talisman Stevie G got a hat-trick and he could have had 4 when he raced into the area only to be brought down by Leon Barnett but he couldnt convert from 12 yards. Torres got the other in which was a relatively straight forward game.

Liverpool 4-2 Fulham

Another Gerrard hat-trick gave us another victory. The game was dominated by Gerrard alone as he got 3 and set up the other. Pulling the strings from midfield he is also the top scorer in the Premier League, Torres once again got the other to secure all 3 points.

Liverpool 4-0 Sparta Prage (UEFA Champions League)

After Sparta's centre back was sent off after 3 minutes we never looked like losing, Gerrard put us one up on 5 minutes carrying on his sublime goalscoring form. Torres got a brace and Nigel de Jong got his first for the club with a piledriver from 30 yards.

Liverpool manager Josh Malin has told BBC Sport that chairman Christian Purslow is holding the Merseyside club back. Purslow's financial ways have not enabled Liverpool to keep up with the big four in the financial side of the game. Malin has told of many a time when he has asked for funds but they could not be given. Malin has said if this continues to carry on he may leave the Reds when his contract is up at the end of the season.

good month there mate keep it up and if they wont give you over 40 million or so at the end of the season I would think about leaving

cheers mate, and yeah I know, Man City job under pressure, that'd be a good chance but staying loyal at the moment :)
