Keep it up mate, when can we expect to see another update?

okay, it's got to January and I've got nothing to spend, not even a decent wage to get out of contract players, and offers just been accepted for Pacheco against my will, for £5m aswell. Any ideas? :S

Villareal job is available if I want to take it, 9th in La Liga, in Champions League first knockout round, have signed Sunu, Lucas, Kazim Richards, Kaleshin, Gonzalo Castro, Barzagli, Obolo, Gavilan and Belleni. Take it or leave it? sorry for all the messing about guys but being at Liverpool when I can't sign anyone and when all my players are being sold against my will is no fun. :S

EDIT: Other available jobs are Cardiff, Southampton and Ipswich

that's all good but would you really get much more money at villareal or cardiff ect and will you have as good a team? if yes then take it

I know mate I've thought about that, but at least they're not in millions of pounds of debt lol, update in 15 minutes

Malin swaps Merseyside for El Madrigal!

After months of turmoil at Anfield Josh Malin has finally had enough and quit for Spanish outfit Villareal. Malin had spoke publicly of how chairman Christian Purslow had not supported the club with funds and sold player's under Malin's will. Agger, Skrtel and Pacheco had all been given permission to talk to other clubs, to the dissatisfaction of manager Malin. Malin has put pen to paper on a 3 year deal and his first game will be in the Spanish cup where they will meet Barcelona. He has been given £8m to spend on new transfers this window.

Re-opening this story from the 24th October with Liverpool. Will carry it on right through to FM11 as Liverpool manager. Sorry for the messing about lads!

,

Liverpool 4-1 PSG (UEFA Champions League)

4 more goals to add to the seasons tally, which is certainly mounting up nicely. This win ensured qualification to the first knockout round and which was especially pleasing was the manner in which we got the victory, without Gerrard and Gourcuff.

Liverpool 5-2 West Ham

Bringing our tally up to 35 goals this season, 15 more than any other Premier League side. Gerrard got yet another hat-trick and Torres got another, a pleasing victory.

Liverpool 4-1 Middlesbrough

So, once again another hat-trick, but this time it was for our number 9, Fernando Torres, bringing his Premier League total up to 10. Gerrard added another in the 88th minute, also bringing his total up to 10 in the Premier League season.

An update right through to January, any screenshots wanted just ask :)

Liverpool 6-0 Portsmouth
Liverpool 0-0 Villarreal
Liverpool 4-2 Stoke
Liverpool 1-1 Arsenal
Liverpool 2-0 Sparta Prague (UEFA Champions League)
Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea
Liverpool 2-1 Tottenham (League Cup Quarter Finals)
Liverpool 1-1 Bolton
Liverpool 2-1 Aston Villa

Key Players:

Steven Gerrard - Our captain has got 21 goals in 21 games, making him the Premierships top scorer.

Fernando Torres - 16 Goals and 10 assists from the forward, also makes him 2nd in the Premiership's top scorers.

Ryan Babel - The Dutch winger has contributed with 9 goals and some wonderful assists through out the season.

Doing Well On A Limited Budget,Well Done Mate...Any January Transfers?:)

---------- Post added at 01:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:21 PM ----------

Mascherano joins Chelsea for £25m, I get £4m. :@

Maxi Rodriguez joins Genoa for £7m, I get £1m :@

he did but lost motivation so tracked back to earlier and started again.

Liverpool 3-1 Huddersfield (FA 3rd Round)

After winning the cup last year I'm keen to defend our title. Played a full strength squad and dominated the game through out. Should have been more than 3, if Ballack was on song it probably would have been. Through to the 4th round.

Liverpool 2-0 Arsenal (League Cup Semi Final 1st Leg)

Once again another cup game which I was keen to win and we did it with style. Beating out nearest premier league rivals comfortably satisfied me. Looking forward to the 2nd leg.

Liverpool 5-0 West Brom

Finally back to the Premiership and it was my 100th game in charge of Liverpool. The squad seemed to play with alot of freedom and attacking mentalitty, Gerrard was in great form once again, good win!

January Transfer Update:

We can now confirm that there will not be any more transfer activity at Liverpool this window, here are the transfers in and out. <)

In:
Giovani Dos Santos - Loan £525k fee.
Gio was signed on a season long loan deal, and I thought £525k was a pretty good deal, as we only had 19 players I needed to make up numbers and he seemed perfect backup.

Orlando Engelaar - £725k
After Mascherano left I needed a replacement, even if he wouldn't make the starting 11 week after week. De Jong was on his favoured personnel and vice versa, and when I saw his contract was running out I was able to get him for a cut price.

Miroslav Klose (Joining At End Of Season) - Free
Klose will add some much needed experience and hopefully a few goals, the German veteran's contract was coming to an end so he was able to join on a free.

Mauro Camoranesi (Joining At End Of Season) - Free
His stats are still amazing and he will once again add experience. He's been retrained as a central midfielder so I will probably use him as a substitute or maybe just to tutor other youngsters. Decent addition in my eyes.

Reuben De La Red (Joining At End Of Season) - Free
With Engelaar getting on abit and Mascherano leaving I felt I needed more cover for the CM/DM position, after having a ban for over a year Madrid decided not to offer him a new contract so I snapped him up.

Adriano (Joining At End Of Season) - Free
Great signing for me. With only Torres and Pacheco the recognised strikers, he will provide great back-up and a different option up-front. Also he's still only 30 so he'll be at his peak.

David Trezeguet (Joining At End Of Season) - Free
So he'll make up number's up front and don't be surprised if he never gets played. Signed purely to make number's up and to tutor younger lads. Still got goals in him I reckon so we'll see how he does.

Out:
Javier Mascherano - £25m > Chelsea
Maxi Rodriguez - £7m > Genoa
Marco Verratti - Loan > Cardiff
Dean Bouzanis - Free > Getafe
Dan Gosling - Loan fee £525k > Hibernian

Liverpool 3-0 Hull

Gerrard continued his amazing form with another 2 goals and familiarly Torres added just a single. Hull were never a match and it was 3-0 at half time, in the 2nd half we seemed to sit back but never the less good win.

Liverpool 1-2 Arsenal (League Cup Semi Final 2nd Leg) (Liverpool win on aggregate)

Kolarov put us one up early on but when Gallas got injured having to play De Jong at centre back made it more or less shooting practice for Arsenal. But Reina was on song and we progress to the final, where we will meet Man City for the 2nd season running

Liverpool 4-2 Cardiff (FA Cup 4th Round)

Another cup game and we progressed once again keeping us in every cup. Dos Santos had a blinder getting his first goal for the club, along with Gerrard, Torres and an owl goal, through to the 5th round!

Liverpool 0-0 Fulham

In what was a game of very few chances Torres did have a brilliant one, and failed to hit the back of the net. A very bland, boring game as the scoreline reflects and we should have really been winning this sort of game.

Liverpool 3-0 Tottenham

Back to winning ways! and in style. A Torres brace and a Kolarov screamer ensured we picked up all 3 points in which was a tight game, where taking chances counted. Gerrard pulled the strings in midfield with 2 assists and we're looking to push on from this!

Liverpool 1-0 Blackburn

Another dull game with few chances, but a moment of madness from Blackburn keeper' Paul Robinson handed Liverpool the lead. A Reina punt over the top saw Robinson come out to claim, instead Yoann Gourcuff beat him to the ball and gave Liverpool the lead, and all 3 points.

Liverpool 1-1 Man City (FA Cup 5th Round)

Just 15 days before the League Cup final where we will meet again. Modric gave City the lead in the first half after Gerrard had a penalty saved on 6 minutes. Better late than never as Carragher rescued us with a towering header on 93mins taking the tie back to Anfield!
