Call of Duty: Black Ops

I play split screen quite often with my brother and the other day we was playing, we just joint a lobby and there was a team of 4 people from england so i could understand them obviously. Well as soon as the teams were sorted it was me and my brother with these 4 in 1 of the teams.... they all were moaning saying split screen wankers bla bla bla 1 will be good the other 1 will be **** then they will leave and they kept going on about it..... then it come to the end of the game, I had 34 kills 3 deaths and my brother had 26 kills 2 deaths..... of course the others in my team did not do too well they were all around 0.75 k/d for the game.... they did not talk for a while but I had to put my head set on and have a ''word''.... I told them what i thought about them and that game and they then soon changed their opinion... next game they were on the other team.... again I ended the game 32 kills 0 deaths ( dogs ) and my brother had 24 kills 5 deaths and you will never guess what happened next.... Yes they left!!

I would like to know other peoples opinions on split screen players? Obviously in me and my brothers situation we are both above average players and average about a 3 or 4 k/d every game and it is quite often we get a 0 death game with a 20 to 40 k/d so what do you all think?........................
 
Is it just me, or is online being really laggy tonight?

I'm decent at CoD but I absolutely hate playing split-screen. Can't seem to concentrate with only half the screen and I imagine I'm not the only one who is like that. Usually when in a party and there are people who are split-screening I seem to think it will be easier, and it usually is.

That's not the only issue with split-screening, the frame rate also gets a tad ******.
 
not tried it im to lonely!!! but really i'd probably do **** wouldnt be able to concentrate if theres 2 i could never do it when i played split screen on other cods just got stuck watching some1 elses screen!!

Sean and Becky being a case in point. ;)
 
Team Killing on Hardcore search and destroy is ridicolous, annoys me alot. One kill of a cobra and someone flashes me on my own team which results in a death.

So they are bringing in better objective based games from the look of that advert Nathan?

lol Jake, i dont mind split screening! I'm that used to it now. Although i do love having the full screen to myself that is much fun. However the good advantage of split screening is when your playing private parties and you are on the opposite team to the person you're playing with, i often have a sneaky peak from time to time to see where he is and BOOM i get them. muahaha.. cheating? ...maybe! :p But i dooon't care. :D
 
I am contemplating hiring this out for my Ps3 this week from my local gaming store (its like £4 a week) pretty awesome :)

I have never played a proper FPS on a console before (I have played Resident Evils and Silent Hill's etc) but I prefer playing FPS on my PC...

is it any good on the PS3 and how are the graphics? I have a Full HD 42" LCD as well? is it easy to get used to or play and is it worth playing?

Doubt it, just looks like they are trying to make the new maps sound better.

go for battlefield bad company 2 instead much better.
 
Map pack is now official.

I wish they would **** off bringing out all these map packs you have to pay for. When you already have to pay £45 for a game, you shouldn't have to shell out another £12 every 3 months or so.
 
Didn't bother buying the first map pack and probably won't buy this when it first comes out on the PS3, I'll just wait for a special deal where it cuts this price because I'm extremely cheap.
