Call of Duty: Black Ops

Shotguns are promaries again. Woot.


Currency to purchase new perks, killstreaks and weapons is a good addition in my eyes. Although boosters will no doubt come from this.
No stopping power included, also good, focuses more on gunplay.
Killstreaks go up to 11, no end game kill streaks.
Akimbo only in secondaries.
More recoil in guns. Marathon is a third perk and lightweight is a first.
Bling is included, but by a different name.

No commando, but Ballastic Knife has a longer lunge than COD4, but less than Commando.

Looking good from the teasers I've seen, and what I've been told.
 
I agree it does look very good from what ive seen of it aswell. Does anybody know if there will be a demo for it?
 
People seem to forget that if there are no rushers the game turns into Battlefield, aka a boring game
 
You're not the only one mate trust me. I've got two copies of it on order 1 for me and 1 for the other half, she loves COD as much as me.

I couldnt disagree more! Battlefield series rapes the floor of the COD series. Battlefield 2 was one of the best games ever made. Bad Company 2 may not be quite as gd imo, it still easily wipes the floor with MW2 and will also do the same with Black Ops. Call of Duty is just so repetitive and quite easy while Battlefield you actually have to vaguely think about what you're going to do as the maps are actually a decent size compared to being stupidly small
 
That was a multiplayer thing but another date has been set to advertise co-op features.
Anyway as commenters on that have mentioned it will be made available in the PS store and the equivalent for xbox for €15 or something if not in the game at first
 
not sure weather to get it as cod mw2 was **** but treyarch doing this one which did the best cod imo cod 5.

Whether this comes on disc, will be DLC or (sob) won't see the light of day is uncertain. But what seems true is that it exists.

Ah, drat. Now we care about ****** zombies in Black Ops again.

i would have thought zombies would be a obvious input into this game. quite clearly it was the best thing about WAW and was arguably better than any feauture of MW2, so they decide not to include it oO)
 
I think Treyarch confirmed zombies in Black Ops, although they only confirmed the 4 old maps in the special editions. They also say they have yet to confirm the co-op mode.
 
im betting zombies will be released as DLC a few weeks later than the original release....and you'll have to pay for it.
