To be honest, i think this whole criticism of there style is being exagerrated by people who weren't happy about roy hodgson getting the job/ rafa getting sacked from day one.

I was at the United vs Liverpool game and i don't remember any punts to the corners from midfielders or any other stuff which he is apparently telling them to do. When they had the ball they played it around the ground. Plus, they were hardly playing barcelona football under Benitez.

Umm... not a lot to say about that really, great result for Northampton, polar opposite for Liverpool. Didn't watch it tbh but sounds like a good game, anyone care to share?

it has been dire to be fair. been watching since they started in europe. at least rafa supplied their front players, honestly its some pretty awful stuff to watch
 
I was amused to see Sotiris Kyrgiakos playing a "Pique-Forward" role. He is, after all, known for his exquisite touch and silky passing. :P
 
i am not ****** because of the result, i am ****** because we playied like Sh..... this is ridiculous, someone is messing with the fans, and thats just not right... i live in portugal, i do pay season ticket for liverpool, i go to anfield everytime i can and have some free weeks... and i see my team geting kicked by Northampton? what the ****? congratz northampton, you deserved. tbh , you deseved to win without the penaltys.
 
Pathetic result, absolutely pathetic. Well done Northampton though.

I've been every home game this season, Yes, we've been playing long balls into the strikers/cornors, and hoping for the best I.E throw-ins. Rafa had us playing very good football, (bar last season) where we'd pass, move, and score some sexy goals.
