Chairman Game - The Championship

I’ve messaged Notsospecialone as I thought I would get eduardo figuerido as I’m higher out of the two league teams. Or is it based on the previous years league positions?

ENGLISH PREMIER DIVISION

Stoke are Liverpool's nearest challengers at the top of the division still, but the Scousers look nailed on for the title. Sunderland probably have too much to do to make to top 6, whilst Middlesbrough, Leeds, QPR, Villa and West Brom look set for mid table consolidation. Brentford and Norwich both look in serious trouble!

View attachment 12500

SKY BET CHAMPIONSHIP

Millwall are having an incredible season and will be hoping they can maintain it to make the playoffs. Swansea are also challenging for a playoff place. It's a disappointing season for Blackburn as the top 6 looks a tough ask for them now. Portsmouth and Preston should be safe from the drop!

View attachment 12499

FA CUP

Stoke are the only remaining chairman club at the semi final stage as stonecold bids to win his 3rd FA Cup.

View attachment 12498

CARABAO CUP

Aston Villa made it to the final of the Carabao Cup but were eventually beaten by Manchester United.

View attachment 12497

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Stoke absolutely battered Inter Milan in the 1st Knockout Round and will now take on Liverpool in the Quarter Finals.

END OF SEASON 2026/27

ENGLISH PREMIER DIVISION

Stoke closed the gap on Liverpool a bit and finished 2nd by just 5 points in the end as they record their best league finish so far! Sunderland finish 7th with Middlesbrough, leeds, Villa, QPR and West Brom all in amongst mid table! Norwich are down, but didn't finish bottom, whilst Brentford pulled off the great escape for the 2nd season running after a penultimate game victory over Aston Villa saved them....thanks Yeti01!!

View attachment 12491

SKY BET CHAMPIONSHIP

Millwall miss out on automatic promotion on goal difference!! They and Swansea will compete in the playoffs! Portsmouth also had a good season and have something to build on next year, whilst Blackburn will want to quickly forget this season! Preston finished down in 18th as their low budgets seem to be catching up with them.

View attachment 12490

Swansea overcame Leicester in their playoff semi.

View attachment 12489

But Millwall weren't able to overcome Newcastle in the other semi.

View attachment 12488

And Swansea are promoted to the Premier Division after a final where the two teams had 42 shots between them and failed to score!

View attachment 12487

FA CUP

Stoke made it to the final where they beat Arsenal on penalties for their 3rd FA Cup under stonecold!

View attachment 12486

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Stoke also made it past Liverpool and AC Milan to make the final of the Champions League, but were beaten by Manchester United in the final!

MANAGER MOVEMENTS

Brentford - Davide Ancelotti sacked - Replaced with Jorge Sampaoli
West Brom - Roberto Breda sacked - Replaced with Stefano Poli
Preston - Frank Lampard sacked - Replaced with Ben Watson

Chairmen with sacked manager, please let me know what you'd like me to do...

1) I can either reinstate your manager again for free (even if this manager has gone to another club, you will have 1st choice to keep him, even if he has gone to another chairman club)
2) You can replace them with someone else (you'll only have to pay compensation to your new manager's club if they have one, unless it's a chairman club in which case you can have them back for free).
3) Keep the manager who has taken over your club on the game for which there will be no fee as the game will have already worked out and taken any compensation from your balance (unless it's another chairman's manager and they want them back, in which case you'll have to revert to option 1 or 2 above).

If your manager was not sacked and left the club, then you cannot re-appoint him for free! You can either stick with the manager who has taken over, or you can appoint a new one of your own but if they have a club then you'll have to pay compensation!

If your manager retired, then you'll need to appoint a new one. If you take a manager from another club, you will have to pay compensation.

Game Save File Download; Chairman Save - 9th June 2027

This download will take you up to 9th June and the transfer window is officially open! This is the file you can use for looking at your squad's season stats for your end of season posts! However, I am going to set all your manager's transfer budgets to £0 so hopefully they don't spend any of your money and then sim the game to 1st July....then I will add your EXP deals from the January window and post up a new save file to download with your budgets for the transfer window! Hopefully by this time you will have received any prize or parachute money which should then be available for you to spend!

TRANSFER WINDOW OPEN

The game has now been simmed to 1st July and your EXP deals from January have now been added to your squads!

As we have missed 3 weeks of the transfer window already, I will allow you to take preference on loan deals. So if a player has already joined another club on loan in this window, you can take them off them instead! This does not include players who may have already moved to other chairman clubs...you have to leave them alone and play nice!

Here's your budgets guys...

Blackburn - WeArePalace - £59.3 million
Brentford - TheNotSoSpecialOne - £30.2 million

Absolutely gutted. One more point, not only would have seen Millwall with promotion to the Premier League, but would of won the Championship Title. Absolute cracking effort though considering i was in League One last year and have been working off free transfers only for the past few seasons. Hopefully next year.

That is so unlucky. All to play for in the last game with only 1 point between all 3 and none of you won.

Luton FC is the latest addition to hostile takeovers in the English football.

There have been rumors that the hostile takeover WAS actually hostile. There have been a lot of theories who and how the football club was taken over. Latest one of them is that aliens simply kidnapped the current owner, used a poor farmers skin as a coat, "bought" Luton FC and pretended to be human. The most popular one is that current chairman, Andy Simpson, had to go to America to take care of his brother, Homer Simpson, and his family.

But reality might be completely different. We just have to wait and see.

End Of Season Press Release

End Of Season

Another disappointing season for us, as we finish in the bottom half once more. The club appears to be a downward spiral which need to stop quickly. lack of funds and squad improvements are showing

Montserrat was the clubs top scorer with only 11 and he a WINGER. The top scoring striker was Ben White on loan with 7 since joining in January. That is a big concern.
Nathan Redmond continues to perform consistently for us and finished with the most assists and highest average rating.

Transfers

WAIT! 14 million, I almost feel rich all of a sudden, best not get to excited and splash that in one window. Making 35 million in sales last season certainly helped the finances. We finally have some room in the transfer market to sign a few players.

I have brought in some promising attacking players on a free but am in desperate need of some defensive players.

I am keen to sign a Goalkeepers, Right back and Center Back. If you have anyone you feel may be of use please offer me a deal.

ALL players are still available to buy, always looking to improve the club finances, however the following players I will offer out. Will Also sell any transfers slots if you need them.

Elias Abouchabaka - Wants to leave and already interest from the premier league, will sell for 12 million.

Another disappointing season - the first where we didn’t get promoted from the Championship. Hopefully we can put it behind us and come back up soon!

Christ 5 points and a goal away from the treble! Bring on next year!

What a season! Super proud of the lads for coming 6th although the 6 million that come with that aren't great...

Swansea City Transfer List

All players still available, will drop the prices within reason to get deals done .....

I'm looking to sell the following players with guide prices listed, although I will listen to offers.
- Michael Gangl (DR) - £1.5m
- Steven Sessegnon (DR) £5m - Quality championship right back, currently transfer listed at £7.25m.

Quality championship centre back, valued at £14.25m and currently transfer listed at £7.25m with interest.
- Victor Osimhen (ST) £6.5m - Valued at £14m so potential bargain buy.

I will also consider loaning out the young players listed below, salaries are all fairly low so won’t impact much on your overall wage bill.
- Kamil Baran (DC - £3.9k) - 18yo who already has championship experience.
- Dardan Boshnjaku (MC - £3.4k) - 22yo centre mid who would do a great job in the championship. Has Bundesliga experience.
- Arnaud Delacourt (AMR - £4.6k) - 18yo
who already has championship experience.
- Stefan Eppert (ST - £975) - 16yo who played and scored for me in the championship last season.
