the fact that you have 53 titles, frankly means nothing in the CL. you have more titles than arsenal united and chelsea combined, yet those three are european heavyweights and you are minnows. not being harsh, but you are medium sized fish in a small pond, and the disparity of success and progression between league and europe shows it

Blackpool and West Brom would easily challenge you for the SPL. Just because you've won the most trophies doesn't make you anywhere near a top quality team, if you came to the Prem you wouldn't win a thing, let alone get into Europe, your only a 'Decent Team' at best who win trophies because they are in a **** poor league with only one other team challenging.

Look at the Irish team, Linfield:

Irish League/Irish Premier League: 49
Irish Cup: 40
Irish League Cup: 9
County Antrim Shield: 43
City Cup: 24
Gold Cup: 33

Does that make them a top quality team? No, it doesn't, there the best team in there league, but thats it

This draw is going to take longer than the frist round of matches -- just draw the balls ffs!
 
I don't think anyone can write off Rangers as much as some of you are doing. As they constantly remind everyone, they did make it to the Europa League final, and that's a good achievement whatever way you look at it. Okay, maybe they did play defensive, boring football. But it was winning football. It's difficult to know exactly what level they are at the moment, as they don't play good teams every week. But they won't be pushovers and I think they'll be difficult to break down, especially at home. Although I do dread watching the anti-football on my tv :(
 
Should just put the first team out in group A second in group B etc.
 
Manchester United, Valencia group C... thats a good draw to be fair.

Real Madrid join AC Milan in group G

AS Roma drawn with last season finalists FC Bayern Munchen

SL Benfica will play Lyon in group B

Ehh, no offence, but neither Rangers or Celtic are minnows. Old English arrogance coming thorugh there ;) But they both attract a crowd that is in the top 5 of the attendances in Britain., and have been realatively succesful in Europe for their financial position. Also, I'd like to point out that when Chelsea win 6-0 two games in a row, it's because their so good, but when Rangers or Celtic do it, it's becuase of how bad the opposition is.
And for the record my ideal pot would be

Ac Milan
Madrid
Rangers

Would definatley take Marseille over Shakthar, the travelling has to come into it, and also the hostilitlty of a place like Donetsk
