ZENIT 1-2 CHELSEA
Lampard (9), Mata (37)
MOTM: Frank Lampard
Frank Lampard continued his great form to mastermind an unexpected away vicory against Russian champions Zenit St. Petersburg. He gave Chelsea the lead with one of his trademark piledrivers from the edge of the area. He set up Mata for the eventual winner, drilling in a low cross that just needed a touch to be sent in, which Mata provided. The consolation came from fan favourite Alexandr Kerzhakov, whose strike on the hour mark gave some hope, but Chelsea defended resolutely and held on for a 3-1 aggregate victory.

MARCH REVIEW
CHELSEA 3-2 STOKE
CHELSEA 3-0 EVERTON
CHELSEA 0-4 NEWCASTLE
CHELSEA 1-0 ZENIT
CHELSEA 2-1 SPURS
CHELSEA 2-1 ZENIT
PLAYER OF THE MONTH: FRANK LAMPARD
MATCH OF THE MONTH: CHELSEA 2-1 SPURS
TOP SCORER: FERNANDO TORRES (29 IAC)
Jones' view: Another good month, however the defeat to Newcastle was shocking. We have drawn them in the Europa League quarter finals, and must not underestimate them again. Lampard has earned player of the month, scoring vital goals in important games. Juan Mata has continued his fine form, but Lampard just beat him to player of the month. Still in the cup competitions, think we have areal shot at winning both because the draws have been relatively kind to us.
OTHER NEWS: Joe Jones has been offered a 1 year contract extension which will tie him down until 2018. Frank Lampard has been offered a 1 year extension with a wage cut of £60,000. Didier Drogba will leave the club on a free transfer in the summer.

QPR 0-2 CHELSEA
Lukaku (47), Malouda (90)
Man of the Match: Florent Malouda
Frenchman Malouda was vital in Chelsea's victory, getting a goal and an assist. Chelsea took the lead when Malouda rolled it across for Lukaku who didn't need to be asked twice to smash it into the net. David Luiz was given an extremely harsh red card just two minutes later, and Chelsea had to play the remainder of the game with 10 men. Petr Cech kept them in the game until the last minute, when Richie de Laet's clearance richoched off Malouda and into the top corner of the net.

sorry don't have time to do a full update but here are our last three results:
chelsea 4-2 villa
newcastle 4-3 chelsea (europa league 1st leg quarters)
man utd 5-3 chelsea

CHELSEA 2-0 NEWCASTLE
Lampard (pen 8, pen 90+4)
Two penalties were the difference between these two teams, giving Chelsea a 5-4 aggregate victory. This takes them into the semi-finals of the Europa League to face local rivals Tottenham. The penalties, given away by Fabricio Coloccini and former Everton man Dan Gosling, were cheap and were both drawn by tricky loan winger Luc Castaignos. Chelsea are now in with a real shout with getting a major trophy this season.

SWANSEA 1-2 CHELSEA
FA Cup semi Final
Chelsea dominated a Swansea side that were determined but just didn't have the quality on the day. The goals came from Lukaku and Mata

BOLTON 0-2 CHELSEA
Sturridge (11), Mata (52)
MOTM: Daniel Sturridge
Chelsea showed their dominance over a mediocre Bolton side today. Sturridge punced on the rebound after Lukaku's shot was parried away by Jaaskalainen. It was once more Juan Mata who scored the goal that killed off Bolton resistance. He seized on a rebound after Castnaigos had missed to tuck it inside the left hand post. Romelu Lukaku ****** a penalty on 65 minutes, but it did not spur Bolton on to make a comeback.

CHELSEA 1-0 LIVERPOOL
Drogba (24)
Chelsea were lucky to beat Liverpool today. After Drogba scored there was a nonstop barrage of Liverpool pressure, and the away team had a goal disallowed, na dhwilst it may have been the irght decision, it will undoubtedly be used as an excuse for not qualifying for the CL.
