ChristianEriksen - Beautiful play

I've done a Counter, Control and Attack tweak on this v21. Will post tomorrow, after a bit more testing. It's not foolproof, but it's doing some nice stuff :D

Well in all honesty, i left the match running for the 2nd half as i went out lol, just glad i wasnt watching it live tbh :P I h8 reloading games as it takes the challenge out of it imo
 
So a judicious application of my Control and Attack tweaks, to Christian's v21, have given the results below. I have tried to really (in Control) reduce the number of opposition shots/goals, and I think I've succeeded. I'm still wary of posting the tactic, but I will at some point tomorrow. I would like to know how others succeed/fail.

One thing I have done, is take off Shoot Less for my forward and used him as his best position for whatever forward I have in the line up. It doesn't seem to affect it, quite the opposite in fact.

Wow! Looks really nice. I play now with the LEFT CM as CM *Automatic*.

Change duties from midfielders and full backs, set two defensive midfielders, delete pass into space, select retain possession, use in-match team talks (encourage, concentration).

Tight marking always to all opposition players, except goal keeper.
Closing down always to all opposition players, except AMC, AMCL, AMCR, STC, STCL, STCR.
Tackling hard to midfielders, defensive midfielders, wing backs, side midfielders and wingers.

You guys are way too fast. I typed the line and wanted to make a screen. But the screen doesn't show up and I am still working on it.

when you will make a tactic with the CM's as Advance Playmakers or whatever else role except normal cm's? :D

Why would I? If I think CM's are better than I will use CM's. You can tweak the tactic for yourself into AP's.

Just out of curiosity, are the pi's for the RCM the same now hes a B2B? Im still using the PI's u mentioned on page 424 and a lot of success with it. Just wondering if i can squeeze a bit more from my CM's.

Altho atm, my RPM doesnt seem to have good match ratings so i was thinking if i had a B2B it might help him out a bit and make his performances better. At present i have Lucas Romero as my RPM and GG Romero as my RCM and which ever of the 2 i play as RPM, only has an average performance.

GG Romero as B2B works great. He has fantastic Stamina (at least in my save currently 17-18).

All the PIs should be with the tactic but they are for the B2B:

Shoot less
Dribble Less
Fewer Risky passes
Cross from deep.
Move into channels
Close down much more.

Remember though, as Christian always says and repeats in his OP, you have to tinker according to your players. So if your player has fantastic dribbling then let him dribble!

The reason I don't is because my player isn't good at it, but also because I worry about him trying to dribble from a defensive position, when the midfield from the opposition is bearing down on him and he could lose position and (if we are countering) we could be overrun in defence.

In the 20 years ive been playing Football Manager and Championship manager, there has always been some form of tinkering required. But imo its just common sense that to get the best out of players, you have to get them to do what they are best at. I mean, you wouldnt put your worst penalty taker on spot kick duty would you ? :P
