He was very good, but im feeling totaly betrayed. Man Utd made him who he was and now this.

Still £80m is a good deal.

He wasnt at Man utd long enough to be a legend.

Just to cheer everyone up, dont be surprised to hear this chant next season. To the tune of the Hokey kokey:

You put your transfer in,
your transfer out,
in out in out you £!#$ your club about,
you do the cristiano and you change your mind,
that's what its all about!!!
Ohh Ronaldo is a %$*#@&,
oh ronaldo is a %$*#@&,
oh ronaldo is a %$*#@&,
Knees bent,
arms stretched DIVE DIVE DIVE
only bitter wankers will sing that

funny song tho! shame i wont be able to sing it at him as i doubt us mackems will be making the long trip to madrid anytime soon! :(

Bitter, of course.

If your not bitter then your not a real fan.

Im a massive fan of Ronaldo but i think hes stabbed us in the back, lieing to us through the whole season.

After what happened last summer, did you really think he was going to stay? It was only a matter of time before he left. Now there's £80million plus the original £20million transfer budget to spend, you can also add the cash from selling Campbell and 1 or two others.

That could make it £110million to spend on players this summer!

well all we can do is wait and see how real get on nxt season, i can see ronaldo trying to out do kaka so personally i think tht could be a problem but u never know

In the games united play misserable is when rooney is there. In my opinion rooney is the best player in the world sod the moaning girl that is ronaldo

I kind of knew he would leave, but the fact that he lied to us throughout the season hurts the most.

"Im not going anywhere im staying here".

I feel Rooney will tep up next season, but Ronaldo will be missed.

aye i hate the bloke but he'll be missed, was very entertaining to watch. it'll be interestin to see how man u play next season!

i doubt you`ll get the whole 80mill to spend some of it will go to pay off that 700mill debt you have over the club or so i heard on sky! probley just get that wigan player anton to cover ronaldo and few other avarage players like anderson and nani for 20 mill!<)

Chelsea were about twice as good as villa/everton or tottenham are now! we finished 5th or 6th most years with the occasional top four finish, which the teams you mentioned DON'T.

.

Everton finished in top 6 last 3 seasons running, and not to long ago had a top 4 finish,

Fergie has been told its all his to spend aparently. So 100m transfer budget

anderson is class.

£80million + £20million annual budget + what ever else recieved from other transfers, quite a big transfer kitty

I think it's a good move for him, he's gone to a better club (IMO). I wonder if United will be given a big kitty beings they've just gotten 80M. It's gonna be interesting to see how it effects them.

I know its your opinion but how is Real madrid a better side than man Utd? Richer sure... better no way.

he has only got to madrid to get an earlier break for summer as they are out of the champions league buy febuary each year, so how are they better, barca won the treble last season, and they could easily do it this year, as not matter who madrid buy , they wil need to gel and barca players already know each other inside out.

messi eto henry

xavi toure iniesta

vs

ronaldo villa kaka

Wesly sne gago vaart

i know which one, i would rather have. and it is ot the time who play in white

Fantasy thinking here...

What happens if out-of-the-blue, United managed to sign Messi?? I think no one would mind to see the back of Ronaldo..

Im dreaming...

But seriously, no matter what, 80 million is helluva lot of money! No one is worth that much and only Real is willing to pay these sort of money. I won't say good riddance to Cristiano.. he gave us 6 very good seasons and I wish him all the best, but it's will be interesting how would he reacts if the Real isn't performing up to his expectations..

Just a little sore, that I won't be able to see him in Malaysia when United comes over for their Asian tour next month.

Don't think I've commented on this thread yet, I've been away. I'll take the 80m. He's done well for us but now it's clearly time for him to go, he doesn't want to be at OT. Looking forward to seeing how we spend the money, aslong its not on loads of Valencias.
