Arnie's revolution at Arsenal begins!

The Terminator began his week by letting Wenger go to Swansea for 2m and was met with fury by the Arsenal faithful.

Fans thought that was the all time low but today he has announced more shock news...the new manager is...

Andre Villas Boas!!!

Fans are shocked an appalled at the decision to hire one of their fiercest rivals (spurs) ex managers!

He has also been selling a few players, Fabianski moved to villa, Jenkinson and Myiachi moved to Swansea on loan deals and recently they have struck a deal with Chelsea to swap Oscar for Wilshere

The last time Chelsea and Arsenal swapped big names Ashley Cole went one way with William Gallas going the other.

Chelsea got the best out of that deal but I wander who will adapt and perform well at their new clubs!

There is also rumours of 2 very big signings coming their way in the near future!

One thing is for sure, Arsenal fans look set to be in for a rough ride this season!

When in the world is this update coming??? You said it will be at 9 but it's 10:13! I'm not angry tho. ;)

Ps. Use the game save provided to check your team and let me know through a private message if there are any issues, regarding transfers or finances!

A heads up, I did some of these dealings using the ingame editor! So some loans may look like permanent transfers(Ingame editor doesn?t have a loan option) but at the end of the season, I will just move the players back. I have a large spreadsheet of all dealings, so I have a record!

Enjoy!

I am now off to watch Match of the Day!!

Transfer Update

Manchester United Chairman Tobey Mason and manager David Moyes have been extremely busy so far this summer. United have brought in five players. It looks like The Red Devils are keen to bolster their defence as the club has decided to bring in some young, strong defenders. Leon Goretkza has been brought in to cover the defence and his passing skills will be invaluable to United this season. Mason and Moyes have also decided to bring in Quintero from Porto who should also have a massive part to play this year.

Everton: Neville Southall takeover

Everton have been purchased by ex-Everton and Welsh goalkeeping legend, Neville Southall.
Southall, via investment has purchased the club he has loved all his career from Bill Kenwright. Everton finished sixth last season and challenged for the UEFA Champions League places for most of the season. Neville Southall earlier released a statement on the club website outlining his intentions for the club.

View attachment 413124

To the Toffee faithful,
I have just bought this magnificent club and I wanted to tell you all my plans for the future. Everton deserve success and as a fan myself, I want to see it happen too. With a promising manager like Roberto Martinez at the helm, our priority is to consistently qualify for the UEFA Champions League, the managers target it two trophies in a three season period. I will make a significant investment to clear club debt and Roberto will have a good transfer budget at his disposal, I will also be looking for potential signings. I have taken over from Bill Kenwright. Under his ownership took the club to the top six in the Premier League. I thank him for trusting me to look after the club from now on. I give Roberto Martinez my full backing and I assure fans that this season will be a memorable one."

The cost of the sale is undisclosed but reports suggest the cost was between 160 and 185 million pounds, rumours are also circulating that Neville Southall was able to complete the club takeover after a gambling addiction paid off as he is alleged to have won near 500 million pounds.

Transfer List Update
We were able to have a quick chat with Neville about potential transfer rumours and potential ins and outs

"We are looking to strengthen what is already a very strong side, with that being said we aren't looking to sell our better players unless a club is willing to pay big bucks, I'm talking record transfer fees here[...]Baines 50m[...]Barkley 40m[...]Mirallas 30m[...] We however are looking to the future and you can expect a few new faces around here, and these players will mainly be young prospects but we also are in need of a few players at the top of there game, so this may mean spending this transfer window."

In response to being asked if he thought this plan to spend so erratically was wise.

"Every business in the world has to spend money to accumulate it. It's all about signing that investment wisely, and we have trust in Roberto Martinez and as I said earlier we will be giving him a budget that we believe can push us higher up the league. That being said I have here an official transfer list I would like published... Thank you for your questions and good night, ladies and gentleman."

Southall holds up a piece of paper and passes it over to his assistance who passes it round the press conference, as he departs.

Shaw Calls Yet Another Press Conference - We're All Starting to Hate Him Now

513415d1393538511-disclaimer89s-english-premier-league-chairman-game-football-manager-2014-edition-sky-sports-news%2520logo-2-280x29-.jpg

For the third time in a little over 36 hours Alex Shaw, the new Chairman of Sunderland A.F.C., has called a press conference. Apparently this one is something to do with transfers, but honestly none of us really care that much any more.

Alex Shaw - Sunderland A.F.C

"Thank you all for coming. I've called this press conference to announce some of the new faces that will be lining up in the Sunderland team for the upcoming season."

Darren Fletcher & Danny Welbeck - ?16m---Ronaldinho Gaucho - ?1.4m

"Now the first thing that you will notice is that with the exception of the pair from Manchester United, we haven't actually spent very much money. I know that you vultures in the press will run away with a story saying that we have bought cut-price players who aren't up to the standard required in this league, but you could not be more wrong.
Ronaldinho is one of the most naturally gifted players of his generation, has played for some of the best clubs in the world, and even at 33 years of age has ability to take charge of matches and terrorise defences.
Mickael Landreau is a keeper who has carved out a reputation as one of the most dependable shot stoppers in French football. With over 600 league appearances to his name he brings with him a wealth of experience and at 34 still has a good few years ahead of him in the top flight.
Lorik Cana is a no-nonsense, tough tackling workhorse in the centre of midfield who will run himself into the ground in order to serve his team. He's also been here before and in his one season stay impressed greatly before being chased by a large number of top teams from all around Europe.
Francesco Lodi is another exciting player, a central midfielder with fantastic distribution, a great work ethic, and who will give his absolute all in pursuit of success.
Last but not least the Manchester United pairing of Darren Fletcher and Danny Welbeck. With Danny we are getting a fantastic young striker, with the pace to terrorise defenders, a great eye for goal, and enough natural ability to cement himself as one of England's best strikers in years to come. Then with Darren we get another midfield workhorse, who will be able to play alongside Cana and Lodi to create a midfield that will outrun anybody we face, fight harder than any of our opponents, and never give up in any game."

Assembled Press

"So is this it for Sunderland in this transfer window, or are we likely to see more action?"

Alex Shaw - Sunderland A.F.C

"While I am very happy with the players we've brought in today I would like to see a couple of new faces still. While I believe that we now possess one of the finest midfields in the country and a wealth of attacking talent, I do feel that we could do with one or two more defenders, and so I will be on the lookout for any suitable players in the next day or so.
Oh yeah, we also sold Lee 'Thug' Cattermole to Hull City for ?2.8m and Keiren 'I'm worth ?1k at best' Westwood to Norwich for ?500k."

Assembled Press

"Lastly, is there any reason for you calling this conference at nearly 4am?"

Alex Shaw - Sunderland A.F.C

"Yes there is. I've never liked the press and I wanted to see you all suffer."

Norwich splash the cash (sort of)

Norwich City are pleased today to announce that the club have signed 6 players from all around the world as they concentrate on getting a top ten finish. Manager Marco van Basten said that he was excited by the players he had brought in and that both at present and in the future it will only lead to good times for the club.
The first two signings are both coming to East Anglia from elsewhere in the premier league. Kieran Westwood signed for 500k from Sunderland with Chairman Alan Partridge confirming that a deal worth 550k plus Carlo Nash had been rejected by the Mackams. The other signing was former Sunderland and Cardiff striker Fraizer Campbell who signed in a 3.5m deal.
The club also signed two top young players with Bournemouth teenager Sam Matthews, who played against Real Madrid when the two sides met in a friendly joining for a surprisingly low fee whilst Max Clayton has also signed for 850k from Crewe being a highly rated prospect.
However, to go straight into the first team the club also signed former Liverpool star Dirk Kuyt for 1.8m, the experienced dutch forward has said that he is looking forward to working with hero Marco van Basten and that he can help the Canaries progress. A final signing was Scottish winger Gary Mackay-Steven who joined for 2.8m, a bargain considering the long term potential that he has. To take in these players the club have confirmed that should any offer be made for any other Norwich player that the managerial team would consider it.

Aston villa chairman calls press conference about the signings so far.

SSN: Firstly, why did you call the press conference at 25 to 10 in the morning?

Lewie: Because of the peacefulness in the press at this time, some people haven't even woken up yet!

SSN: Let's get to the real reason here, transfers. Are you here to discuss the ins and outs of your team?

Lewie: How did you know! Let's talk about our first signing, Russell Martin. I fell that this deal was a good one, since we lost one of our best players, but replaced him straight away with another top class player. Our 2nd signing, was goalkeeper Michel Vorm. Now, even though we parted with Guzan and 6.25m, we have got a premier league winning keeper here in Vorm. Our 3rd signing was centre back Michael Turner. He brings some toughness and power to the squad. Our 4th signing was Lukaz Fabianski, from Arsenal. He will be a very good backup for us and he only cost us around 1.9m! Our 5th and final signing was the most surprising of all, it was centre forward Fernando Torres. He only signed for 3 million (even though he has 360k a week) and will be very key in our 4-3-3.
Our outgoings were Brad Guzan, on a swap deal for Vorm, Matt Lowton, also on a swap deal for Russell Martin, and Libor Kozak, who left for stoke for 3.8m.

Liverpool Spend ?5million In Youth Plan

Liverpool have today confirmed the signings of 5 young prospects. Pierre-Emile signs from Bayern Munchen for ?1.4million. Gabriel Iancu from Steaua and Andres Mehring from Colon both come for ?1.05million each. Macky Bagnack from Barcelona and Rani Khedira from Stuggart complete the transfers, both coming in for 650k each. All these players are brilliant prospects for the club and we have full confidence that Rodgers will know how to develop them into world class players.

Jose Mourinho announced earlier today that some players were added to the transfer list.

The new boys , Pogba , wilshere and Draxler left chelsea with more players than they wished for. To reduce the number of players in the squad Chelsea added a few players to the transfer list. The first one is Willian, the Brazilian who recently arrived from Anzhi will be listed for around 15mil pounds, the second player that was transfer listed is Ramires, another Brazilian who apparently isn't on Mourinho's plans is listed for 22 mil pounds. The last player added to the transfer list is the Egyptian Mohamad Salah, whom is believed to be more interested in a loan. It is reported that Mourinho won't sell all 3 of them but at least 2 of them will be sold. View attachment 412999View attachment 412998View attachment 412997

All Southampton players are available!

Southampton chairman Spanish Dave has came out and said every single player at his club is available.
" Luke and James have already left to join city, all other players are also available, but it will have to be a good offer if you want to take: Callum chambers,Dejan lovren, victor wanyama, Morgan schniederlin, Adam lallana, gaston Ramirez, jay Rodriguez or Pablo osvaldo" he has urged chairmen to pm him in order to discuss a price for those players.

Can I say that Cieran Clark is available on the transfer list for 2.5m.
