So 1 striker out, 1 striker in as roberts and lambert try to bolster their squad. And there's more! Jack cork has signed for 10m from Southampton and experienced centre back kolo toure has signed for 380k from Liverpool. So Villa very busy this transfer deadline day.

And yet another interesting news coming from Cobham as Mourinho just confirmed the signature of the spanish striker whom just recently signed for man city , Alvaro Negredo will still wear Blue jersey but he will represent London and not Manchester.

Yes people , you read it right , yet another transfer involving Chelsea with Alvaro Negredo arriving at Cobham earlier today to pass the medicals.
The fee is believed to be around 12mil + David luiz. A lot of Chelsea fans are angry at this move as they thought of Luiz as a future captain. Mourinho promised that Negredo will perform under him and he will bring Chelsea to another Level.

Rodwell Joins Swansea



With not long left of the transfer window, Swansea City have announced the signing of Manchester Citys Jack Rodwell on a free transfer. It brings Swansea up to 4 incoming transfers this season but they are still yet to spend a penny on players. A short statement made by Bergkamp said this:

"We are delighted to sign Jack (Rodwell) he is a fantastic player who can only benefit the team we currently have, it is a deal that has been done fairly late on in the window but we do not expect this to be the last of the incomings, we are in talks with a few other clubs regarding some players, we are also looking likely that one or two players will leave if the offers can be improved by the interested clubs, we will be working until tonights deadline thats for sure."
