Aston Villa announce new signings

The first signing was right back Russell Martin, Though Matt Lowton will be going the other way. The 2nd one was Michel Vorm from Swansea. He comes as a 1st team player for villa and will cost them a hefty 6.25m. The 3rd one was Michael Turner, also from Norwich. He cost 2.75m for villa. The final transfer was Lukas Fabianski. He will be a key backup for villa. He cost 1.5m. There is huge speculation that either Guzan or Friedel will leave. Leaving today was Matt lowton, mensioned earlier and Libor Kozak, for 3.8m to Stoke. We wish everyone that came and left the best of luck for the future. ;)

Your a bit late to sell friedel, considering that he left villa about 3 years ago

Shaw Announces Transfer List

We have just received word that the new Sunderland chairman, Alex Shaw, has announced that a few members of his clubs current crop are being made available for transfer. The players we were made aware of were:

Lee Cattermole - ?3.5m
Jozy Altidore - ?3m
Keiren Westwood - ?500k
Connor Wickham - ?2m

We had a chance to speak with Mr Shaw after his announcement to ask him a few questions.

Georgie Thompson - Sky Sports

"As soon as the list was revealed, our analysts noted that all four players are being made available for below their market value. So why is this the case, and why these players in particular?"

Alex Shaw - Sunderland A.F.C.

Well Georgie, you are right about the values we're asking for these lads. I've been told that we should be demanding more, but personally I would much rather take a small fee and see them move on to a club where they will be getting regular football and are able to enjoy the beautiful game than hang on to them for the sake of a few extra pennies.I personally believe that all four of these guys could do a great job for a number of teams in our league. Cattermole is a no nonsense, tough tackling midfielder who would thrive at a club like Cardiff who are likely to be stuck in a relegation battle all season. Altidore has come over to England on the back of the best two seasons of his career and has the talent to link up with any strike partner to produce results. Westwood is a solid young keeper who for this kind of price would make him the perfect backup stopper for any of the relegation threatened sides and Wickham is an exciting young target man who could step into the first team right away and will only continue to get better as he develops.

Breaking news from Cobham: Once the most feared striker in Europe has been sold to Aston Villa for a fee believed to be around 3mil pounds.

Unbelievable , is the word to describe this transfer , the spanish striker continues his downfall and transfers from London to Birmingham.
When we asked him why he decided to move to Aston Villa he said that he still wants to play at the best league in the world, and his mission now is the silence the doubters.

With Torres leaving that leaves Chelsea with only 2 strikers , Samuel Eto'o and Demba Ba.
With Demba Ba transfer listed we believe Chelsea will look for another striker, there are some player already on Mourinho's shortlist , between the names we can find Dzeko , Suarez and the youngster from Santos Gabriel Barbosa.

I think someone went chasing the money. Over ?300k per week in wages makes Birmingham bearable I guess

Also, I would like lambert to play a 4-3-3. Reason is because of the BEAST top 3 of benteke-torres-agbonlahour.

Just a reminder that I will listen to any offers made by clubs for our players.

A.V. chairman

Another transfer news from Cobham: The recently signed Marco Van Ginkel didn't have the opportunity to represent Chelsea and he has moved to Newcastle for a fee believed to be 12 mil pounds.

The young Dutchman moved from London to Newcastle without making a single appearance for Chelsea, this is a wierd transfer as he was recently bought from Vittese and the chelsea staff had high hopes from him. He told us that he is delighted to join the magpies as he is searching first team football with the world cup coming in the summer.

With Chelsea only selling so far this transfer window be believe that a new "blue" will be announced shortly.

Trio of signings for Swansea

Swansea have today announced the transfers of three players, with one player leaving the club.

The first of the deals see, Swansea and Aston Villa doing buisness with Goalkeepers Michel Vorm and Brad Guzan swapping clubs with ?6.25m also going from Aston Villa to Swansea. Bergkamp said that it was a deal that suited the club as a good player left but the deal saw an immediate replacement join the club aswell as getting ?6.25m aswell.

The second of the deals see, Jenkinson and Miyaichi join up with former Manager Arsene Wenger on season long loans, Swansea will pay the full wages of both players, Wenger said that it was a great oppertunity to bring in two players who he thinks very highly of as well as giving them the oppertunity to get some game time that will be much needed for them to have the experience to break into the Arsenal team in the future.

They also said that the expect maybe a few more players joining the club, again with a few leaving the club. We have had a few offers for our major players but, we are yet to recieve an offer that has met our expectation for these players so for now they will be staying.

This might be the trade of the century ladies and gentleman, a trade including both Chelsea and Arsenal, both of these "kids" are at the same age and same position, from this day you people will see Oscar wearing the red white jersey and Jack Wilshere wearing the blue jersey. Incredible news.

The two major clubs in London just confirmed this news. The brazilian wonderkid , Oscar will move to arsenal and the brilliant youngster Wilshere will move to Cobham.
This news comes from no where as there were no signs from either side before. We talked with both of them , Oscar said that he can't wait to play for Arsene Wenger as he admires him and Wilshere said the same things about Mourinho. The derby between Chelsea and Arsenal is gonna be more tense than ever.

Norwich add more to transfer list

Norwich City manager Marco van Basten has today announced that 3 more players will be allowed to leave the club before the transfer window closes. He commented that if the side recieved acceptable offers for Elliot Bennett, Carlo Nash (any offer - literally!) and Mark Bunn then they'd be on their way out of Carrow Road quicker than it takes for Arsenal to fly there.
