Well first of all you go to the first page of this thread and read the rules on there.

Essentially though, till the January transfer window rolls around there is nothing you can do except to change your manager if you want to.
I have downloaded it what do I do now?

Firstly, I didn't say download the game, I said go and read the rules. If you read the rules it's perfectly clear how this all works.

You don't do anything from now until when Disclaimer89 gets the game up to the January transfer window. The uploaded save game is purely so you can have a closer look at your team as the season progresses, and look through the transfer market when the windows open.

If you read the rules it makes it perfectly clear how this all works. You are the chairman, you handle transfers, management changes, facility improvements, but outside of that the game is simulated by Disclaimer89.

Sorry I understand but how do I change the manager and sign players?

You pm disclaimer and tell him for foreign transfers/manager changes. You pm the manager of a club and discuss a transfer for domestic players/managers, then pm disclaimer when a deal is done to let him know

Dude, you spammed my inbox with the same 7 messages in the past 2 hours.... You told me you understood how this game works. I recommend you go back and re read the rules.

Update tonight @ 9pm!
(this will bring us up to the end of September)

Because our finances were already very poor at the start, and then I spent ?40 million or so on transfers.

I knew it would happen, but my theory was that while we would lose some points through the deduction, the squad we have now will be good enough to earn its way out of our poor financial position and drag us up the league.

Don't the rules state that if you go negative you're kicked from the game? I thought that was the point of the game.

Go a bit easy on him guys. It can be a lot to take in if it's your first game.

Sean you have to be patient with this mate. And don't spam Disclaimer, it is the last thing he needs on top of what he's already dealing with.

SHITTTTT THE UPDATE IS COMING

There is no rule about going into debt, it is just highly advised not to..as like what happened with Sunderland, you may go into administration and be deducted points, have a transfer embargo enforced upon the club, be forced to sell all your best players.....which would probably result in relegation!

If you get relegated, you are out of the game ;)

It says at the top of the post with everyone's finances 'if you go into administration that's the end for you in afraid'

I'm guessing so they're the only one who has lost points from it, I'll look through everyone for you now though

Completely forgot about that, I've been soo busy the past week, must have slipped my mind!

I've just been enjoying the game, not thinking about any rules! haha

Maybe give Sunderland a chance then? As it's so early, like let them get to January and try to get out of administration by selling players before booting him?

Few changes made. I'm not going to kick the Sunderland chairman for overspending as he has enough of a punishment with the points deductions and will probably be forced to sell players at some point in the future.

So we shall just continue the way it is.

Didn't mean to cause any issues. Just wanted the issue to be seen as I think a lot of people would start using the same technique. What's the point in having a ?1million balance and then spending over ?40million on transfers?

Just seemed a bit daft to me. I'd have bought Ronaldo and Messi for hundreds of millions and happily took the 9 point 'deduction'.

Can't wait to see this update! I'm optimistic :) I wonder who'll win the sack race! Place ye' bets.

Nah, it's cool. To be honest I forgot about the Administration sack rule, I was just enjoying the game haha.

Although little tweaks in the rules are to be made before January! For example; If you are in NEG balance, you wont be buying anyone..so you'll need to sell sell sell first!

Some other amendments to the rules may be made before January.

Update incoming, stand by.

You mean if any1 gets in administration before jan, You can get a chance to sell your players at January?

I will admit I didn't notice the rule which said about administration. I also didn't realise that our finances were quite as bad as they are in the update that Disclaimer is using.

I suspect I won't be the only one to end up in this position though. Villa may not have spent that much in terms of transfer fees, but they have put the best part of ?600k per week on their wage bill, so give it time and they'll be in administration too I'm sure!
