Hull City Content with start!!

Jeff: So Disclaimer89, 6 games in, how do you think your team had fared?

Disclaimer89 - Well to be honest, I am very happy with the start, we are a newly promoted team so getting 3 wins from the first 6 games is a fantastic start. Although we have only played one big team, spurs, and we lost that! So I am keeping my feet on the ground here!

Jeff: Has there been any standout performances from your players so far?

Disclaimer89 - Jelavic has done fantasic since coming to Hull, 4 goals in 6 games is an unreal start and I just hope he can keep it! Lets not forget Shane long, he has 1 goal and a few assists already to his name!

Jeff: how about the league, what teams have surprised you?
Disclaimer89 - Well, Man Utd have not been doing well at all have they? David Moyes may start getting results or he could find himself out of a job! At the other end of the table, we have Chelsea who have bought well during the Summer and we are seeing it in the results! Pogba, seriously, what a player!

Sorry Jeff that is all I have time for today!

Jeff: Thanks Disclaimer89, we look forward to seeing Hull fight throughout the season!

Next update Tonight @ 9pm!
(This will bring us until the start of November)

Thanks,
Disclaimer89

Bad month for the magpies, losing vs Crystal palace? What a shame D:

How on earth did my Norwich team beat that Chelsea team 4-0!!!! Dirk Kuyt must be turning out to be one of the signings of the season and Lescott's been a rock

Been in London for the weekend and just got back after a disaster of delays and cancelled trains. I'll catch up on the thread!

...and I've caught up. Good job Brendans won the last two games. You don't want to know what was going through my mind after losing the 4th game on the trot. Press conference to follow..

1 win 2 losses vs 3 very hard teams! I thought that I was gonna lose all of them but a shock win vs utd and 2 tight losses vs chelsea and spurs. I'm impressed!

Mate. It's still september POTM, YPOTM and MOTM. Not October.

Ah right, I usually do my updates until the 1st of every month, hence the mistake.

Ignore it then..I was in a rush when I did the update. Whoop de doo.

Liverpool board happy with start

The Liverpool board of directors have release a statement saying they are satisfied with the start Brendan Rodgers' side has made this season, despite it including a 4 game losing streak. Liverpool started the season well winning their first 3 games but then went on to lose the next 4. At this point things were looking doom and gloom for Rodgers but it has looked like he has turned the teams fortunes around by winning the last 2 games. All eyes will now be on how the next month pans out for Liverpool.

Hull City Chairman keeping the faith!

After a quick word from Disclaimer89, it seems he is satisfied with the way his team are playing. quoted saying ''we may have lost all 3 games last month but I am still content as I can see the squad is getting stuck in and are still scoring goals, we are not playing badly, we have just not had things gone our own way! November is a new month, lets see what it brings!''

If only other chairmen had as much faith in their managers as Hull City seem to have! We have heard rumors that at least 3 chairman have been considering changing managers! Like Disclaimer89 said, lets see what November brings for all clubs!!

This is Jeff from Sky Sports, signing out!

Cardiff City Update

View attachment 408067
Despite Cardiff City recording their first victory of the season, they dropped to bottom place in the premier league during October. They picked up their first victory of the season with an away win at West Ham, 0-1. However that result was followed by a goal less draw at home to sunderland and a narrow 2-3 loss at home to underachievers Manchester United.
There are rumours circulating that Solsjkaer?s position has becoming insecure due to his reluctance to change his attacking philosophies. There are unconfirmed reports that Cardiff City may look to replace Solskjaer with someone who has a more defensive approach.

Villa announce clause on Lambert's contract!

New chairman Lewie Roberts has announced a new clause on Lambert's contract. If, at the end of any month (other than the 1st one) that villa are in the bottom 2, his contract WILL BE TERMINATED. Big news for villa fans tonight as they could see lambert go if they are in the bottom 2 from start of October onwards.
This won't count if we go in administration.
