I think I'm relegated then. Basically, I need to get 3 pts in 2 Very Tough games.

Chelsea have pretty much won the league, only need 1 win out of 2 games
Think villa will go down( and I'll be glad to see them and Sunderland relegated for their financial troubles)

And I think Everton will get champions league, if they do/don't will shape their future massively, if they do they're financial problems will improve and will have some great young players to challenge for the title soon but if they don't they'll have to sell some big players

Like the idea of the update being up a few days before the transfer window aswell as that'll give everyone time to do an end of season review on their teams performances.

You've basically summed it up!

Everton NEED 4th!

And also a few days before the window give us all a chance to do our conferences. (which I would expect all participating chairmen to do...as in the last few updates barely anyone has done a press conference update; considering this is meant to be an interactive thread :P)

That loss against Hull hurts :( At least we picked up 6 points against Stoke and Sunderland.

A long season is drawing to a close, and we caught up with the Cardiff City chairman with only two games remaining in the season.

Sky Sports Reporter: So, two games remaining and 3 pts clear of Aston Villa. How do you rate your chances against Newcastle and Man City?

Njmclare: They are obviously both tough games, and both away from home. However we technically have a two point cushion, as Aston Villa have a superior goal difference, so I am optimistic. I feel we will draw with Newcastle which will give us the points we need to continue playing premier league football net season.

The final game of season depends on many factors, we could already be safe, and therefore the players will be relaxed, Man City may have already lost the title and their players could be dejected, or Man City could still be in with a chance to win the title, in which case they will be no doubt have some inner strength to keep going, I?m thinking QPR in 2012.

Sky Sports Reporter: Any stand out performances from this season

Njmclare: They have been few and far between, however I think winning both games against Spurs were particularly memorable. We also had a really good january, which kick started our season, where we drew with Arsenal and then went on to win 4 games.

Sky Sports Reporter: Which players have impressed you and which players will you be happy to see the back of.

Njmclare: I have been really impressed by Sam Byram, he has won player of the month once, and young player of the month on 4 occasions. We picked him up quite cheaply in the summer and he has performed above expectations in his debut season in the premier league. I think he deserves to win young player of the season, however not being from one of the top four teams may hamper his chances.

Obviously Rhodes has been receiving plenty of plaudits this season for his goals. He wasn?t favoured under Solskjaer?s one striker formation, however under the tutelage of Stefano he has been scoring left right and centre, along with Jermaine Defoe, who also been in great form this season.

Sky Sports Reporter: Thanks for your time and good luck with the remaining games.

You madbro?! :p

I'll hold my hands up to that. I haven't done enough chairman conferences at all, but only because thats the type of chairman I've gone for really, bit of a laid-back one. That will all change if BR doesn't sort his **** out though.

Just got back from a week and a half vacation , title race looking good ;)) Ill post a press conference later today (if I go out than tomorrow) , sorry for not telling u disc that i went on a vacation but it was pretty spontaneous.

I have been busy and a quite inactive (press wise) - I won't get the time just now. But I'll sure sum up my season before or after the window closes.

Really happy about the pace and consistency in updates! Keep up the good work...

Norwich review with 2 games to go
View attachment 400313View attachment 400313
With only 2 matches left until the end of the season Norwich City are beginning to look ahead to a busy summer. Chairman Alan Partridge confirmed that he wasn?t planning for van Basten to leave the club despite the Canaries only winning 1 match in their last 13. Partridge said that their recent form was very disappointing but that if they played like they had at the beginning of the season they?d be much higher up in the table.
Partridge and van Basten brought in many players last summer who have had mixed impacts in the premier league. Keiran Westwood and Gary Mackay-Steven have yet to make their competitive debuts for the club whilst Fraizer Campbell and Jonathan Walters (purchased for a combined 6m) have been heavily marginalised this season. Christian Benteke has yet to show why Norwich splashed 11m plus Wes Hoolahan and Elliot Bennett as well.
However, Dirk Kuyt, Matt Lowton and Joleon Lescott have been Norwich?s star performers this season with Kuyt scoring crucial goals as Lescott and Lowton have been excellent in defence. Marco van Basten admitted that he was keen to sign Lescott up for another year this summer and that Canaries fans should watch this space. Managing director Viktor Brezhnev has earmarked a planned season review after the last two matches; both away to Stoke and Fulham.
Looking at the championship, Alan Partridge said he was keeping his fingers crossed for AFC Bournemouth to win the playoffs as he is a long-term fan of the south coast club.
That?s all for now folks!

Chris Kamara Interview with Neville Southall, Everton

Sky Sports reports
1st May 2014

Chris Kamara:- "What are your predictions coming into the final few games?"

Neville Southall:- "Well, where to begin, the title has to go to Chelsea in my opinion, but, I will say don't be put of by conorc98 comments this will go down to the wire, City aren't out of it yet, anything's possible in the modern game. And for the drop, I would have to say it looks likely to be West Brom, I think if they lose to United in their next game, I think this will give Villa the incentive they need coming into their next two fixtures, knowing that their goal difference could save them. This is the league we are in now, success and failure are often decided by fine margins and thats what all the excitement is about. [pause] Anything can happen in these last two games."
Chris Kamara:- "With that being said, what do you make of certain chairman's comments?"
Man City chairman said:
And I think Everton will get champions league, if they do/don't will shape their future massively
Hull City chairman said:
Everton NEED 4th!

Neville Southall:-
"Fair comments, we went into the season with high ambitions and we may suffer the consequences. Look, we are still confident either way for top four again next season, obviously we would love to add the Champions League fixtures to next seasons calender, but we have a tough run. But like I said before, anything can happen. We've had a good run of games leading into the final two. Arsenal will be a tough game away from home given there form since Wengers return, and then Swansea away, team of the year for me, performed solid all season and didn't over spend in either transfer window, a very smart move as they have secured their place in the premier league next season and will no doubt have around ?38m to spend next season, this will be another tough game even with our current form. Lets just see, I can always see us scoring two, so who knows."
Chris Kamara:- "Would care to expand on your plans if you do or don't achieve four spot."

Neville Southall:- "Well basically what I mean is either way we will be needing to re-vamp the team due to the players departing the club come this summer, and we feel confident of doing this with or without four spot. We also would like to say that we are looking into the possibility at extending a few deals in preparation for the following season"
Chris Kamara:- "Well we look forward to seeing you splash the cash once again, and hopefully gracing the Champions League next season, but can you shed some light to the rumours of Martinez's departure if you don't reach Champions League places?"

Neville Southall:- "We hope so too, would make things easier for us going forward, but we have our plans in motion already for next season, and this will include Martinez as manager regardless of our league finish."
Chris Kamara:- "Well, thank you for your time Neville and good luck in the final two games."

Neville Southall:- "Thank you, see again soon I hope, as I believe your hosting the Champions League next season"

[Both Neville Southall and Chris Kamara burst out into laughter]
Everton Chairman was overheard motivating the players for the this seasons finale
View attachment 399985"Great moments are born from great opportunity, and thats what you have here this season and that's what we've earned this season. Two games. If we played them ten times, we might lose nine, not this time, not after this season! You were meant to be here, this is our time. There time is done, I'm sick and tired of hearing what a great team Liverpool have. Screw them! This is your time. Now go out there and take it. Champions League!!!!"
"Lets be havin' you" (haha, not really Delia, sit down... for god's sake woman, sit down!)

Villa Interview

Aston Villa chairman interview

SSN: So welcome! So, what do you think of the title race, top 4 and relegation battles?

Lewie: Exciting, even though I don't want to be a part of it.

SSN: What are your predictions then?

Lewie: I think Chelsea will win the title on the final day, Spurs for top 4 due to their fixtures and either us, Cardiff or West Bromwich Albion. It is too close to call.
