Funny how the smaller club chairmen do their press conference 1st and the bigger clubs do it last! (except United)

How dare you suggest that the mighty Norwich are a smaller club! ;)

And @TobeyMason do you have a full inbox? Sent you a PM last night concerning managers and hope you got it

Breaking news from The Emirates Stadium

Swansea have agreed a deal to take Arsene Wenger as their new manager!

a 2million compensation deal has been met with shock by the Arsenal fans for their beloved managed. Mr S
chwarzenegger had this to say:

I believe the time is right to make a change and Arsene and I agreed that he had to go, he wanted a new challenge and I didn't want a poncy french man in charge!

I am on the lookout for a new manager and will hopefully announce something shortly!

Is there anyone in particular you are looking at?

I hear there is a legend of the game called ... Pulis?... No I'm joking...he is s**t!!

The bookies have been going mad for this one and the favourites to replace Wenger are as follows:

Jurgen Klopp 3-1
Diego Simeone 9-2
Antonio Conte 5-1
Clarence Seedorf 9-1
Diego Maradona 17-1

We hope to bring you more on this breaking story shortly!

New Swansea chairmen, Bergkamp and co have today announced that they have agreed a deal with Arsenal to take legendary manager Arsene Wenger from the North London club, to Swansea. Arsenal will recieve 2m compensation as part of the deal.
Bergkamp had this to add
" We are delighted to bring Arsene to work with is again, we are great friends with the man and he was to only man we wanted to replace the outgoing Garry Monk. We would like to thank new Arsenal chairman Arnie for being such a pleasure to deal with, we contacted him regarding Wenger and the deal was done swiftly, we even exchanged a few tip regarding his now vacant managerial post and I will be more than happy to do more deals with the club. Spanish Dave buys Southampton

After a stressful 2 months in the Southampton backroom, causing Nicola Cortese to leave the club, the Southampton chairman has decided to leave the club saying "things here aren't as good as it seems from the outside"
Dave was born in the north west of England, but was nicknamed Spanish Dave due to his fake tan business, making him filthy rich, and equally filthy orange. He spoke to the official club website regarding his purchase.

OFC: so sir, how pleased are you to be here at Southampton today?

Dave: call me Dave. And also I'm delighted, we have such a great setup here at Southampton.

OFC: who would you say your key players are and what is this seasons target?

Dave: well there are so many, shaw, lovren, schniederlin, wanyama, lallana to name a few, that before you even mention Ramirez and ward prowse. We have a good enough team to get top 6 this season with just a few more additions.

OFC: is there any business you can inform us about yet?

Dave: in terms of transfers,no. Behind the scenes we are extremely close to tieing up a link with another premier league club, we hope to announce this soon.

OFC: finally, any plans to change the manager or will pocchetino be staying?

Dave: yes, of course. He is a great young manager, and plays the kind of football I want us to play. He'll hopefully be staying here for some time.

Norwich City have today confirmed that, less than 24 hours after radio presenter Alan Partridge took over the club, that manager Chris Hughton and his assistant Colin Calderwood have been sacked. The 54 year old, who managed Newcastle and Birmingham City before arriving at Carrow Road, said he was ‘disapointed’ with the decision but that he understood that the new owner wanted to bring in his own man.
Partridge has kept quiet on who will replace the duo, whose defensive style of football had brought few friends amongst the Canaries faithful but it understood that they are in talks with one of the big four over appointing a new manager. Favourites for the job include former Fulham and Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen, former Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup and homegrown coaches such as Sean Dyche, Eddie Howe and Paul McGuinness. Norwich fans will be looking at who will replace Hughton with great interest.

Cardiff City to be blue again...

It has been announced today that the new owner, Njmclare, will be seeking consultation with the Cardiff City supporters trust over changing the team colours, from the controversial red favoured by outgoing chairmen Vincent Tan. There is also good news for new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who will be keeping his job for the foreseeable future. Njmclare and Solskjaer will be favouring a youthful team, full of attacking flair. It remains to be seen whether a team predicted to finish 19th in the league will succeed playing attacking football...

Ellis 'cuts his reign' Short

After a little over 5 years at the helm of Sunderland A.F.C., Ellis Short has announced that he is to step down from his position as Chairman of the club. No reason has been given for his impending departure, however an anonymous source from within the club has told us that Mr Short had a 5 year target which the club has failed to meet, and as such he has taken the decision to cut his losses now.

Alex Shaw Takes the Helm

It has come to our attention that Sunderland A.F.C. has already been taken over by a new Chairman. Alex Shaw, a local businessman and complete unknown completed his purchase of the club in the early hours of this morning. While very little is known about Mr Shaw we are aware that he was born in the area and has been a lifelong supporter of the club, but beyond that details are very hard to come by.

Georgie Thompson sat down with the new chairman earlier today, to find out a bit more about him and what his intentions for the club are.

Georgie Thompson - Sky Sports

"First of all, thank you for taking the time to give us this interview. The first thing we're sure fans will want to know is who the man behind this takeover is, a little bit about yourself and why you've decided that now is the right time to make this move?"

Alex Shaw - Sunderland A.F.C.

"Ever since I was a lad I have always been in love with this club. The first club I ever saw play was Sunderland, the first stadium I visited was Roker Park, I grew up with posters of Sunderland players all over my room, as far back as I can remember Sunderland have been a part of my life, and I have always wanted to be a part of the club, and so when the opportunity to be involved in such a major way presented itself I had to take it."

Georgie Thompson - Sky Sports

"So what are your plans in the short term? Will you be sticking with the current management set-up or making your own changes?"

Alex Shaw - Sunderland A.F.C.

"I have the utmost faith in Gus (Poyet) to bring the kind of success to this club that the fans deserve. He is an exciting young manager, and while he has not had any top flight experience until now I know that he is the kind of person who will be able to get the absolute best out of the players we have at this club."

Georgie Thompson - Sky Sports

"Speaking of players, how active do you see the club being in the upcoming transfer window?"

Alex Shaw - Sunderland A.F.C.

"I think that we have a good crop of players here at the club right now. With Gus at the helm I have no doubt that we have the ability within the squad to comfortably remain within the top flight. I also know that there is no way that we will be able to compete with the big boys in the league in terms of our spending power. However I am always looking to move the club forwards and so there will be a good amount of money available, but only for the right players."

And with that we ran out of time. So it seems like Mr Shaw has good intentions for the club, but whether or not those intentions can be transformed into results, only time will tell.

Is the plan still to open the transfer window in 20 mins?

When are the banners coming?

Been no word from borne in a while so hopefully tonight, the guy works a lot!

Is the plan still to open the transfer window in 20 mins?

I'm just home from work, I am not going to bother with the new official update as that would mean redoing all the finances again and that would delayed an hour or two....I'm sure people just want the transfer window open!

Just going through my mail now, need to make a few manager changes.

At 8pm I'll post the transfer window open post!

No, just use that as a template when sending me through player requests.

Also guys, when you and another chairman agree a deal, both players must message me and confirm it. Cheers.

I can't confirm the deal for a swap between matt lowton and Russell Martin because your inbox is full.
