Dennis Bergkamp has today admitted that him and Wenger are working hard behind the scenes to improve his Swansea squad and make it competitive in both European and Domestic competitions.
Sky Sports: The transfer window opened earlier today, what can we expect from you and the club?
Dennis: We need improvements, we will get improvements. It is as simple as that. Me and Arsene are working hard, we've contacted a few chairmen regarding a few players and we wait responses on these. We have also sent representatives out to Belgium, Spain and a few other places to discuss terms with a few players but no deals are close yet.
Sky Sports: And what about outgoings, will we be seeing any this window?
Dennis: Yes, me and Arsene have agreed that if the offer is good enough then any player is available for sale. I urge any Chairmen interested in a Swansea player to contact me with an offer, I will not however be a pushover with deals, if a player is to leave the offer will have to meet my expectation.
Sky Sports: Thank you for your time Dennis.
