Disclaimer89's English Premier League Chairman Game - FM 2015 Edition

Only 30 mins remaining or so! Anyone up for last minute deals? :)

View attachment 252169Winter Transfer window is now closed!

The transfer window is now closed. It has been quiet for the some of the teams in the league, some chairmen are feeling the effects of their heavy spending in the Summer.

In regards to the pre-contracts signing, I have moved them to their new clubs now instead of at the end of the season. To be honest, I had completely forgot they were pre-contract and not frees and by the time I realised, I had already spent an hour or some moving them and had saved the file midway. If anyone has any issues with this, PM me.

Villans Dropped from Dreamland.

After an unbelievable perfect start, Villa have stabled out and are still by no doubt having an absolute cracker of a season. Despite last month Villa have stromed beyond everyones expectations and will hopefully continue to have a sucsessful season.

well the January window didn't last very long :P

Apologies that I missed it, I've only just got back

Luckily not one person messaged me about a transfer...not sure if that's good or bad, but at least no one was waiting for a reply from the boring hammers!

Update soon!

WestHam.png.aspx

West Ham stay in mid-table heading into the new year!

West Ham have really not excited people this year

article-1323328-0BBF988B000005DC-564_634x407.jpg

So many draws! more draws than a furniture shop...(Chest of draws??? ok sorry not the best joke!)

4 out of 6 matches this month were draws, and the fans aren't happy

Fan with a thick Somerset accent "We don't this boring drawing football, we want some action, we don't care if we lose we just want them to do something, might just stay at home and drink me scrumpy next match!"

they did have one thing to celebrate - a MASSIVE 2-0 win over struggling Liverpool...

Just incase Lewie missed that A MASSIVE 2-0 WIN AGAINST STRUGGLING LIVERPOOL

They are not expected to make any signings this window (as I missed it) and the fact we are starting to get more and more into debt!

I will do my press conference announcing transfers and such, after the next update! That way I can do both things in one :P

Btw, any idea of when you'll sim through January? :)

Improved Form From The Saints

Sorry for the short update I'm in a rush

irish-442145.jpg

Martin O'Neill's Saints are showing glimpses of improvement that is required of them. Southampton have not had a great start to the season, first half of the season was nothing short of terrible and cost Ronald Koeman his job but after O'Neill took over there have been wins against teams such as Crystal Palace and Especially Arsenal.

Camillo Zuniga has had a steady start to his Southampton career and both Gates and O'Neill hope the Chelsea flop turns out to be a great capture for the Saints. Wijnaldum, Pelle and Adebayor were the stand out players of the month, with both Wijnaldum and Adebayor coming in the summer transfer window, Wijnaldum looks like a excellent piece of buisness.

Although O'Neill has had a steady start to his Southampton career, the defence needs to be sorted with two losses and a draw popping up in the month with a few defensive errors against some teams Southampton should be winning against!

PS: Beat that Znik!

Another successful month putting us top of the table with a game in hand :)
We started with a close 2-1 win against Everton, a comfortable win against mk dons in the fa cup although anything less would have been a disappointment.
Another win against Sunderland and then having to play Aston villa 3 times in 11 days drawing them in the league and beating them in the semi-final on aggregate 3-2 putting us in the final and gives us a very good chance of meeting our objective of winning a trophy very early in the season.
Another win in a domestic cup against Newcastle posing little threat throughout and finally topping off the month with an excellent win against arsenal 3-1.

Player performances have been excellent throughout with aguero in particular performing admirably. The plan was always to get our business done in the summer so no January deals were necessary allowing us to make plans for the summer with plans afoot to purchase a new left back, a centre back and attacking left winger and possibly a central midfielder.
Pellegrini continues to perform with good results and high harmony in the squad his job secure.

Up and down month for the Gunners
In a month where we faced Spurs three times, the results against our main rivals were the biggest thing to be happy about. We suffered a couple of poor defeats that now put us 7 points off the CL spots.

Results:

Premier League: Tottenham - Arsenal 1-2 WIN

A very strong win at White Hart Lane. New signing Depay opened the scoring, but goals from Cazorla and Sturridge in the 70th and 71st minute gave us a huge win, and all the bragging rights this season as we've beaten the Spuds in both matches.

FA Cup: Arsenal - Preston 4-0 WIN
A brace from Aboubakar, a rare goal from Wanyama and a debut goal from new signing Zivkovic gave us an easy victory. Konoplyanka also made his debut, playing well.

Premier League: Arsenal - Southampton 0-1 LOSS
A really painful loss in a game we dominated. We couldn't get through their solid defence, and Wijnaldoum scored the winner late on. The defeat was made even more painful by the fact that Debuchy was named MoM, and the Ox played really well.

Premier League: Swansea - Arsenal 0-3 WIN
At least we weren't down for long. A solid 3 points away, after goals from Wilshere, Sterling and McCarthy. Unfortunately Wilshere suffered another horrible injury, breaking his ankle. He will be out for 2 months.

Capital One Cup Semi Final Leg 1: Tottenham - Arsenal 2-1 LOSS
We got a decent result here, despite being outplayed. A goal from Ramsey gave us an important away goal, and equalised Lallanas opening goal. Eriksen scored late on, giving Spurs the win. Leali made his debut, and played very well.

FA Cup: Arsenal - Crystal Palace 0-1 LOSS
Our kids outplayed Crystal Palace here, but couldn't make it count. A Jedinak goal knocked us out of the cup. Williams and Murray had good games, so there were some positives.

Capital One Cup Semi Final Leg 2: Arsenal - Tottenham 2-0 WIN
We are through to the final! Bragging rights are truly in the Arsenal fans favour as we knocked our main rivals out of the cup. A Ramsey goal and an Özil penalty made sure we make our way to Wembley to face Man City.

Premier League: Man City - Arsenal 3-1 LOSS
In the make or break game of the month, we couldn't man up and suffered a deserved loss. An early Cazorla goal meant nothing as we couldn't handle that man Aguero. He ran rings around our defence and scored a hat-trick.

Conclusion:
We are in the Capital One Cup final, which is good. But we suffered in the league, only 6 points from 4 games. Newcastle took 9 points, which means the gap up to 4th is now 7 points. It might be a good thing that we are out of the FA cup, as we get to focus more on making sure we are up there at the end of the season.

Looking forwards: League games against Hull (H), Everton (H), Sunderland (A), Aston Villa (H), and QPR (A). Means a busy month, I will be happy with 12 points. We also face Schalke in our double-header in the CL. That is a really tough matchup, but anything but going through is unacceptable.

New Signings:
We took our opportunities to strengthen for the future in January, bringing in quality winger Konoplyanka from Dnipro on a free (now worth £26.5M), as well as goalkeeping talent Leali from Juventus on a free. Two players were also signed for the future in wonderkid striker Zivkovic from Ajax and talented midfielder Bryan Cristante from Benfica. Both signed very cheap deals and can play a big part in the future of the club.

Statement from Prince Harry: Silly rich Americans don't know our game. They should look at the table instead of aiming digs! I'm sure the prices of certain players might drop in June when a shocking relegation hits the south! ;)

January - The month that promised so much...

José's targets were:
13 points in the league
Win in the FA Cup
Sell Zuniga
Make a bargain signing (optional)
Re-register Azpi.

I will tell José now: If he fails to win a trophy this season then his contract will be terminated!

Transfer-wise, only one move happened - Zuñiga has left the club (£600k + Shane Long)
Target 1 achieved - and this meant that José was able to register Azpi in the PL sqaud - Target 2 achieved.

The bargain signing failed due to both me and José being drugged by the SM Mafia - presumably Lewie because
Liverpool are going down! (hopefully)

Fixtures

Chelsea 1 - 2 Katy's Cats (West Ham)
Did they bring Katy to the bridge?

Chelsea 3 - 1 Bottom of League 1 (Port Vale)
This was roughly 4 goals closer than it should've been. At least we didn't lose (*cough* Spurs/Everton)

CPFC 1 - 2 Chelsea
Tough game, but unlike Liverpool we can beat Crystal Palace

Chelsea 2 - 2 Burnley's new front line
This could cost us the title - and José his job. They're last FFS!

Everyone's 2nd most hated team (Leeds, not Millwall) 1 - 5 Chelsea
Easy, easy win - Kovacic was brilliant here (getting a 10.0) - Swansea await in round 5

A team capable of beating Man Utd 4-0 (Not MK Dons :P ) 0 - 3 Chelsea
Showing United how to beat Leicester comfortably

Chelsea 2 - 3 Courtois (Man Utd)
With this display, Courtois may have single-handedly given Man Sh!tty the title. 2-0 up after 11 minutes and then he f*cked up and let in 3 goals from 5 shots on target. We should not have lost this. Also Kovacic tears his hamstring :/
Only 7 points in the league is unacceptable!

Next month is full of easy fixtures/potential slip ups. We face the team that won in Istanbul (and are now facing relegation), Newcastle, KFC and Liverpool's second worst nightmare (behind Everton winning the BPL). We also have a FA Cup game against relegation favourites Swansea, and the small matter of a trip to the Bernabeu to face a struggling Real Madrid (they have a few games in hand but can't catch up to leaders Atletico even if they win them)

In case Lewie doesn't look on the save - Liverpool will play Stoke away next month (if they lose 6-1 when they're in 6th, how badly do they lose in 16th?)

HULL CITY TRANSFERS AND JANUARY

We brought in 2 keepers and a striker. Keepers were Heurelho Gomes and Vito Mannone and striker Nicolas Anelka.
The former Chelsea striker was brought in on a free transfer with wages of 140 €/pw. Sunderland goalkeeper Mannone came in on p/e. Mcshane left for Sunderland and Mannone joined the to-be-champion Hull. Ex-Tottenham goalkeeper joined us for a fee of 180k, I think.
After those transfers I gave Jol free hands. He sold Quinn, Bruce and Rosenior without bringing anyone in.

We were knocked out of FA Cup by the ******* Manchester United. Before playing them we defeated Ipswich in 3rd Roung 2-0.

First BPL game in year 2015 was against Sunderland, where our new man Anelka scored one. It ended 2-2 draw. We also drew Aston Villa 2-2. Later we won against QPR 1-0. We also drew against West Ham. In the WHU game our two new signings shined. Gomes made a great game with arating of 7.4 and Anelka scored his second goal for the club and finished the game with a rating of 7.3

We have stayed securely in the middle of the table.

Next month's first game will be against Arsenal - a tough match indeed. We also have a difficult EURO Cup opponent in the name of LORD BENDTNER.

January

A Month of the Gods
7/8 Wins
5/5 Wins in the League including wins against old rivals Liverpool & Newcastle then doing the double over Chelsea with the weakest team LVG put out all season!
Only game we didnt win was in the FA Cup and we saw of Norwich in the 3rd round replay
All this while we have 8 1st team players out injured
And finally to top it off nobody bought our key players so we still have MEGA DEBTS but dont suffer. Yet! Hopefully we'll get Tv & Price money before disclaimer goes over our books again!

Herd of Demetri Mitchell? Chelsea wont forget the name! This was a miracle result when you see our line up.

February Targets
Were back in the hunt! Man City & Chelsea both have nasty months allowing ourselves & Newcastle move right into the fight for the title. We've grabbed an advantage in goal difference and if required head to head records against the other title challengers.

Sorry back to next month! Man Utd have one tough game at home to Tottenham while Southampton & Swansea are both in the relegation zone should see positive results as i expect with our trip to Blackburn (21st in the championship) in the FA Cup

Debt Management Firm move in at Old Trafford

View attachment 250469

Following the failure to clear sufficient debt and outgoings during the January transfer window a decade of debt from the Glazier era has finally caught up with Manchester United. With monthly losses between £15m & £20m the club has had no choice but to get to work with the problem immediately by calling in a debt management firm.

View attachment 250468
David Gill "This is a voluntary move by the club. We underestimated the problems left by the previous era when rebuilding the playing squad this summer. Despite early success as we are right in the title battle i regret to say the following players are to be transfer listed with a view to being sold in the summer while EVERY PLAYER has a price tag dont be expecting for find superstar players like Pogba, Hummels or De Gea available at bargain prices. I must stress we ARE NOT in a must sell situation. We simply feel that this would be a good stage of our regime to finally fix the Glaziers mess!
