And this is why we need higher Prize Money...

There's a huge difference between the top 4 clubs, the 5th-7th clubs, and the rest of the league...

I say, we increase the prize money, so 1st has 200k more, 2nd has 400k more, 3rd has 600k more and exc until 17th gets 3.4m more than the original money.

You could easily do this by editing the balance by the specified amount.
 
Why should the smaller teams get more money :P I quite like working with a limited budget.. the top league divide is what makes it an interesting challenge for me, but thats just my opinion :)
 
I personally have no problem with the fact that the bigger teams can go and dominate the transfer window. That is how it is in real life as well. Man city have spent £50mil on a terrible winger and £30mil on a backup central defender. A club further down the table wouldn't be able to do that.

You may be right, but it's kinda boring seeing the same 2-3 teams in the top 4 spending ridiculous amounts, when we can only spend our money on lower quality players who won't improve the team by very much, unless you spend a ridiculous amount of money.

Just my thoughts though, don't have to go along with them! :)

Don't forget, the big teams are getting more prize money and that, but...

I'm against this while I may be bias (man city here), getting higher up the league needs to be a big incentive aka more money, not to mention the big teams such as myself are generous with deals with our fringe players look at barkley 5m i let milner go for 1m fernandinho for free there's loads like this from the big clubs we get wages off our bill and lower teams get quality players at cheap prices win win :)

also fm is meant to be a realistic simulator of the prem not the prem with lots of rule changes,

This is unrealistic. I'm sure teams would love this IRL but it doesn't happen.

Also yeah there's a huge difference which makes it more of a challenge (I myself like the challenge of a smaller team).

Lastly, in last year's Chairman Game Fulham won the league with a smaller team also finishing in the top 4. So it is not by any means 'impossible'' to get into the top 4 or to win.

Aston villa football club are pleased to announce 5 new immigrants into London! Gabi joins us from Spain, after an illustrious career at Atletico Madrid. He will replace the departing Bentaleb. Daniel Diaz meanwhile joins us from Argentina, where his Boca Juniors contract expired. He should replace the recently released Senderos. With Bacuna being released, we had only 1 right back. Maxi Pereira was brought in to provide competition for Christian Trasch. With both Dodo and Aly Cissokho underperforming last season, we brought in Aleksander Kolarov from recently relegated Burnley to challenge them. Our final signing is Scott Dann, joining from Everton. Again, he'll provide us with more defensive backup with Krystov returning to Shakhtar Donetsk.​
