Dramatic Turnaround for Aston Villa
Just days after Malky Mackay was announced as manager of Aston Villa, he's resigned! According to our sources in the club, after David Cameron took the mickey out of Malky's accent he shot twice at the former Prime Minister with a double barrelled shotgun, before fleeing 10 downing street to the rogue state of Wales. The prime minister was reportedly unharmed by the attack, and wasted no time getting to business, hiring Turkish manager Fatih Terim. Leaving his job as Turkish manager, he brings a wealth of experience with him. He's guided Turkey to the quarter finals of the European Championship, and it remains to be seen who will take over his job and continue the charge.

Middlesbrough FC confirm new chairman

We are delighted to announce Tommy Rodgers as the new Chairman of Middlesbrough Football Club. He succeeds Steve Gibson who after many successful years at the Boro, decided to step down from the Board to focus on other challenges, and spend more time with family.

Tommy Rodgers earned his wealth in the financial industry. Originally starting in the Mailroom of Barclays PLC, Mr Rodgers quickly climbed the promotional ladder, and overcame any challenge that crossed his path in the financial industry and has hold several key roles over the years.

Commenting on his appointment, Tommy Rodgers said:

Owning a football club has been a long personal dream of mine, and I’m delighted to become part of the Middlesbrough family. Middlesbrough FC has wonderful fans and plays some beautiful football and I hope I can meet the fans expectation of avoiding relegation.

Middlesbrough FC has been granted special privilege by the FA to sign one player from a foreign club (FOR), and one player below the English Premier League (DOM). Middlesbrough are rumoured to sign a Centre back and a striker.
