Middlesbrough FC confirm new chairman

We are delighted to announce Tommy Rodgers as the new Chairman of Middlesbrough Football Club. He succeeds Steve Gibson who after many successful years at the Boro, decided to step down from the Board to focus on other challenges, and spend more time with family.

Tommy Rodgers earned his wealth in the financial industry. Originally starting in the Mailroom of Barclays PLC, Mr Rodgers quickly climbed the promotional ladder, and overcame any challenge that crossed his path in the financial industry and has hold several key roles over the years.

Commenting on his appointment, Tommy Rodgers said:

Owning a football club has been a long personal dream of mine, and I’m delighted to become part of the Middlesbrough family. Middlesbrough FC has wonderful fans and plays some beautiful football and I hope I can meet the fans expectation of avoiding relegation.

Middlesbrough FC has been granted special privilege by the FA to sign one player from a foreign club (FOR), and one player below the English Premier League (DOM). Middlesbrough are rumoured to sign a Centre back and a striker.

Rodgers was later questioned about any further additions to the squad, this is Rodgers statement:

"I'm happy with the Squad currently and more importantly so is our Manager Garry. There was talks to sign a player on loan, but sadly it was too late to finalise any deal so we shall assess the situation in January".

Name: Jesus Navas
Transfer Cost: £1 Million

Newcastle Chairman, Lewie Roberts, must be over the moon on securing Navas' signature on deadline day after agreeing to pay £1 million to Man City.

As much as Navas may have under-performed at Man City, due to the constant rotation, it must be felt among the majority that if given regular game time he could be a real asset to Newcastle; as Navas definitely has world class quality in him..

Now to the moment all the chairmen have been waiting for.
Below are finalised signings for each club.

This concludes the Summer transfer activity. If each chairman could check the save, ensuring everything matches up...team, balance etc. I will be simming to the end of August tomorrow evening and would like to have any issues fixed by then.

Some teams may not have gotten all of their players due to other clubs outbidding them, having insufficient funds etc..

If anyone has any queries about the transfers, PM me; do not spam the thread with issues!
(I will then make any changes to this post to correct any errors.)

To think I've gone from Fernando Torres on £350k a week last year, to Coup Signing. :D

Well my most expensive signing has gone out on loan immediately... hed better perform

If you guys dont mind, I'm going to spend a few hours looking for players for Crystal palace; as I've been so busy with dealing with transfer requests and such, I haven't had a chance.

Hopefully you guys have left a few decent free transfers! ;P

Btw, got to give kudos to Yilang. Must be frustrating to have to sell your better players without getting replacements, but your squad still looks decent! Heres to Bielsa bringing in a class player om the cheap :)

Also very interesting business from Leicester, Sunderland and Watford. Looks like the mid-table fight will be a very tight affair this year!

Both myself and the board of directors at the club are extremely pleased with the transfer window as we look to build a younger and stronger first team squad for new manager Andre Villas-Boas. Not only have we managed to strengthen all the areas that we wished to strengthen, we have also increased the size of our first team squad whilst saving £41k a week on the wage bill. This will represent a saving of over £2 million for the season which can be better spent by the club. The club is slightly disappointed that we didn't manage to offload other players but most of those players contracts are expiring at the end of the season which will free up another £104k a week. The club is in a very healthy financial position now, scheduled to make a very health profit of almost £35 million for the year.

Everybody at the club is very excited by the quality of player coming into the club this year and feel that a potential first time line up as shown below could bring huge success to the club over the next year.

I personally would also like to take this moment to thank all of the fans of this great club. You are the life blood of the club and all of us here at Hull from the management to the players to the caterers will do out utmost to make you proud. Keep supporting! Come on you Tigers!!!

Hi guys, could someone PM me or post here screenshots of Sunderland's transfers in and out and our financials. I have no access to the game currently and I'm trying to put a post together here blind and I'm struggling.

To those who have helped me before with this thank you and to anyone who helps me now thanks in advance.
