Wolfsburg cruise to victory

Wolfsburg 3-0 Lech

Great win. Took a while to break them down, but a Martins screamer burst open the floodgates and from that point on we looked dangerous every time we went forward. Misimovic slotted in the second, and then another Martins screamer eased up the opposition and ended up giving us the win comfortably. Very pleased, that yet again without any other centre mids we got a comfortable win. Excellent displays.

Wolfsburg held

FC Koln 2-2 Wolfsburg

Excellent game, but I have to admit, we were rather lucky to draw this game. It took another screamer from Obafemi Martins to seal us a point, but a draw is a point gained rather than 2 points dropped. Good draw, and great game of football.

Yeah I know, bit worried about it tbh, but it isn't effecting my results I guess.

Feliciano signs new young CB

Daniel Feliciano revealed during a press conference today that he had signed Nicolas Otamendi from CSKA Moscow for £6M. The 22 year old, had been the victim of alot of transfer rumours, and it seems as though Wolfsburg coach Feliciano has won the race for his signature.
After being asked whether speculation he was chasing the Argentine defender were true, the Portuguese manager responded by saying "That speculation is true. We have been looking into signing the young lad, we had a bid accepted and he signed a contract this morning, and will join us in January for a substantial fee." He wouldn't reveal the amount, but it is widely reported to be around £6M with the majority of that being paid in installments.

Wolfsburg finally beaten

Wolfsburg 0-1 Dortmund

We were unfortunate not to win this game. It was an evenly contested game, with neither team playing particularly well, but one error at a corner let them score an easy tap in and take the 3 points. Despite the loss, it was a fairly decent performance and I'm sure the next game will see us get a victory ;)

Wolfsburg rollin' into Knockout stages

Shakhtar 1-3 Wolfsburg

Good solid victory away from home in Europe. Perfect game, with Dzeko getting back into the goals with a brace and one being the most delicate of chips over the keeper. Excellent win, and with 9 points from 9, we are all but qualified from this group, with a point from the next game guaranteeing qualification, and a win guaranteeing us winning the group.

Otamendi is a great signing. Im suprised you didn't sign him earlier :P

Hadn't heard of him until someone made a thread about him earlier on today lol

Really?! I try to sign him every time and I tried to get him for CSKA but he rejected me :(

LOL, wow I feel really late now :(
So would you all say that £6M for him is a good deal in the second season?

You could have got him for £3m ish in 1st season. But in 2nd season £6mil is a bargain.

Yeah his physical & mental stats turn amazing
You will make a big profit on him in the long run ;)

I like the sound of all of that. :)
I saw that screenshot in the other thread, and I thought - I'm having a few problems at the back, and I need a very good, cheap, young centre-back, and then this thread pops up... It was a sign ;)
