I'm smashing it with teams and NONE of the players are fully adapted the first season or two as IWBs. I buy the best players for the position and go by physical stats, determination work rate and the desirable stats stated in the opening post.

Will follow these instructions! 14+ for Determination, probably same for pace and workrate

Some good tips here I should maybe include in the opening post but just assumed were common sense. I.e. don't fit round pegs in square holes. Left sided DLC, MLC and FLC.

Can't stress how much pace and decent physical stats plus determination make. If by season 2/3 I have anyone in my side without 14 minimum determination and 12-14 physical stats across the board outwith the keeper) i'm doing something wrong!

Hi mate sorry to be a pest I have saved the pre season and match training and put them in DOCUMENTS-SPORTS INTERACTIVE- FM19- SCHEDULES . Is that all I have to do? Thanks

I think the issue is the reserves. I have an U23s but I'm assuming thats the same? I have 36 players in the U23s , time to ship some out

Yeah, i'd cut that way down, especially if you are sharing coaches with the U23's. Short term solution is to put them all out on loan and long term trim it right down. Remember if you have U18/U19 they will automatically be available for the reserves/U23 when fit. There is no need to have anyone in that U23 squad unless they are between loans/awaiting to be sold. If a player isn't developed at 22/23 chances are he ain't gonna develop further.


As a side note I am going to do a youtube video explaining how to set everything up tonight for a top level club. Which I'll put on the opening post.
