It's annoying me not having a scumbag corner set piece, currently working hard on this now. Rest of the tactic is near ******* perfect. rego8's throw in set up just makes it borderline criminal it's that good.

Now to get corners the same. I crack every ******* patch sooner or later lol

Nice, I’ll download and give it a try , Once again good work dude , you can tell you’ve put **** of a lot of work into these, Certainly made the game enjoyable for me and a few mates I’ve recommended it to aswell

Cheers mate, I put alot of work into these, should probably be writing my Edinburgh Fringe show but meh, need to sort the corners out.

I'm nearly there, with help from the Dutch contingent that play this game. Should have something definitive for this time tomorrow.

Nice results dude, with the right players this tactic is unstoppable. I am still furiously testing corner routines at present.

Yeah i have included it, mainly to ****** up crowds on weekends who have no clue wtf i'm on about haha

I think you are asking about players playing in position and what foot side they have a preference. I'd say go per position stick to the instructions in the opening post. All left sided players be left footed, all right sided players right footed, even the IWB's.

Traditional Four Four Two

Hi folks,

So corners, the old tactic was averaging 1 every 5/6 games at best. This new tactic averages 1 every game (ish). I have tweaked the DL and DR positions to be fullbacks and the result is a more set piece sound tactic offensively but a less dynamic one. A more traditional fourfourtwo so to speak.

Instructions of note. Do not allocate a corner taker. as long as the AI doesn't allocate one of those players nominated to go short or the DL/DR, you will average a goal a game through that. You'll also average a goal a game through throw-ins minimum, one every two/three games from three kicks and 1/2 from open play. So to win at FM19 using this tactic you need to not concede four or more goals. Hopefully the change in DL/DR's aids with that. The rest of the tactic plays as before.

It is not as nice to watch as the FourFourTwo but I reckon it is as high as 25% more effective offensively and similar defensively. I will of course post extensive results and tactic tests in the next 24 hours, I just needed to fix the tactic first, trust me though it works.

Please try it out and let me know how you get on. The filters for DL & DR are also added to the existing player filters and can be referenced here or through the post on the first page;

This is the best and most enjoyable tactic I've used in this FM version. since the last patch the exploits are not so effective but even that does not matter when it is the best defense tactics I have used in years. literally destroys 2 teams of premier league in the cup and having more than 60% possession. amazing!

Try the traditional version, I think you'll find exploits are alive and well!
 
Actually not 100% convinced about the defence. Working on it. Actually know what iv'e done wrong, I am a tool. Hang fire on that upload. I need to tweak the defenders slightly to take into account the drastic role changes to the fullbacks. Will have it done asap

Can someone confirm this? After 13 matches only 2 corner goals, but maybe it's simply because my team is too bad (LIKE REALLY BAD) because of youth academy challenge.
