Can someone confirm this? After 13 matches only 2 corner goals, but maybe it's simply because my team is too bad (LIKE REALLY BAD) because of youth academy challenge.

14 games in my testing with Bournemouth I have 9. It could very well be the team dude. I did a short test with Man City and got a goal a game roughly over 7 games.

Feedback is appreciated though, at least you are getting goals, the previous one was virtually awful.

So is fourfourtwo tactic still the best at the moment or the Traditional fourfourtwo

In testing i'm finding it hard to split the two tbh. I prefer FourFourTwo but as the results will show tonight when I post them, the traditional fourfourtwo may suit those that don't want to **** about with inverted wingbacks but get comparable results.

I think you are all going to be pleasantly surprised by the results or the traditional four four two.

It's ****** brilliant.

Gave the fourfourtwo a go dude , Even though tactic is kinda similar I was getting a mixed bag of results , maybe after using scotia for three seasons straight my players become accustomed to this tactic and won’t perform for anything else , still great work though and scotia still a 10/10 for me

Honestly? I tried this tactic and it is absolutely not brilliant

The first one I uploaded with that name had flaws in the defence, the one uploaded this morning has them fixed. I'm certainly noticing good results, being on course to win the Premiership with Bournemouth first season with no signings is for me success and sign of a good tactic, especially the spread of goals i'm getting.

Ok, so taking your feedback onboard and assuming its the most recent one you are using, alongside the OP instructions, whats wrong with it?

FourFourTwo is just Scotia with set pieces improved a tad. It's essentially the exact same tactic aside from attacking corners.

really , when I use the fourfourtwo it seems to sit back a lil more than scotia , not checked the team instructions or compared it them , that’s why I thought they was a slight difference , weird ??????

The old one no longer remains, I replaced both.

Yep exactly the same aside from corners, go check the team & player instructions :)

have done mate my fault , i only went and loaded the wrong tactic and played half a season with it , knew something wasn’t right , that’s what working nights does to your head in the end ??????, I’m currently using fourfourtwo now for the first time lol

No worries dude, i'd upload the traditional one as a back up. Maybe play it against minnows in cups etc mainly to change up so the AI thinks you are using two different tactics when in reality its two shades of the same. I'm having some success, I think with that approach.

The normal fourfourtwo with IWBs is still my favourite, the corner set up isn't anywhere near as good as the traditional one but I love seeing the IWBs work. Result wise there is not a huge difference, what you lose in dynamic play from the loss of the IWB position you gain in corner goals witht he traditional.

FULL SEASON RESULTS

I ran the Traditional tactic a full season, with no transfers (including January where other teams in the league strengthened) and Bournemouth, who are not in my mind world beaters, win the Premier League title first season.

All I did was use the Traditional FourFourTwo tactic and followed the instructions I set myself in the opening post.

Here are the results and I have even went to the length of including (as no other tactic uploaders do) the tactic save game for folks to view, so to dispel any accusations of save/reload fuckery. Which can be accessed directly below;

The difference from the FourFourTwo tactic is merely the IWBs are FBs to allow Augustin1979/Guido's corner exploit to be added. The Fullbacks instructions are then taken from the IWBs and added to the FB's with only "roam from position" missing.

Here are the results, absolutely impressive if you ask me. I have also included the tactic here and in the opening post.

111 goals scored, logged 19 from corners but true number is about 25 tbh watching the highlights. Only lost three games and they were all to big teams (the only defeat August to February being a close loss to Liverpool at Anfield) and close affairs as the save will attest to anyone viewing.

Enjoy folks!

dl / dr shooting the corners?

Played 1st game with ur new tac. Won 5-0 away. 1 goal scored from corner, other 4 from throw in!!!!

This is probably the best tactic in v5.

gamebreaker for v5. god bless you

Leave it unassigned. Do NOT touch the corners, just remove any takers the AI places. It will show the DL & DR as takers but they ghost in.

Quick results then! The spread of goals from set pieces and open play is normally 50/50 tbh.

Thanks mate.

In my team I have only AML and AMR, not ML nor MR, and I'm in November. What can I do until January?

Chrissy, I'd like to to ask you about your transfer strategy. As you know, I'm Norwich, just up from the Championship. So obviously using the filters i dont get interested players at the default settings. What do you recommend reducing? The number of matching attributes or the attributes themselves? Do i want a master of a small number of attributes or a more average player all across the board?

The results i got with PSG
