This. We should start Jagielka/Lescott, with Cahill as back-up.

Jags and Lescott hands down, can play a high line or play a deep line, or anything in between. Excellent in their few games together, brilliant vs Spain. Footballing wise its a no brainer, and there is no baggage there either. Take Cahill, and Jones, now Smalling is out. Players in their prime and a young versatile option. None of them will give you hassle if not picked.

There has to be something regarding the fracas between them and he's possibly said that if neither can agree to put it behind them then I'll take none of the two. Afterall, as previously mentioned more than once, we have a few more than capable defenders who can fill in and it isn't as if they are the only two with experience playing for England. Still think Terry will go.

Not seen Walcott mentioned much in the thread, but he's had a pretty good season, although he has never really shone on an international stage. I think Chamberlain will put a shift in but he has, since the first few games he played for Arsenal, somewhat declined, but he's still young and has a glamorous career ahead of him imo.

Jagielka and Johnson as stand-by's... the ****..

Jones over Jags? Taking the ****. Rest of the squad looks fine.

Right. Guess Mike., Joel' and I are supporting Ireland.

Downing.. Hahaha, glad he's taken Defoe though, top 3 best finishers in the league for me. Cracking goal tally this season to say he has barely, if not started.

Oh, totally just realised Downing is in the squad, and Carrick is not.. :/ The actual ****..

This is pure 100% unfiltered bullshit.

No Jagielka, FFS.

At least Defoe has been picked.

Why the **** has Milner and Barry got in over Carrick?

Also, no Steven Gerrard? :O

Pretty much the squad I would pick, although Jagielka should be in there

Danny Murphy, Bobby Zamora, Andy Johnson and Paul Konchesky slowly start unpacking their suitcases....

He's demonstrably not:

Best chance conversion rates of English strikers in PL games this season
Darren Bent - 20.9%
Grant Holt - 19.5%
Wayne Rooney - 17.2%
Danny Graham - 16.9%
Peter Crouch/Jermain Defoe - 16.7%
Cameron Jerome - 16%

This is pure 100% unfiltered bullshit.

**** this. I'm legit angry.

**** statisticians! Still think he's better than Crouch, Graham and Holt.

Dowing wtf and jags as back up, carrick misses out again and no scholes omg what is going on!

And just to add insult to ******* injury, Henderson makes backup over Carrick.
