I'm sure Disclaimer wouldn't disagree, but any advice we can offer, just PM either of us...it is a lot to deal with.... but i am looking forward to do mine again next year when I have the free time...

Totally agree, i'm expecting more from SI next season, I have actually posted somewhere on the SI forum stating a few changes that i recommend, due to the needs of some spin off games in forums.

I've found for doing transfers SI's is alot better because I can do stuff on the fly in game which is useful but it adjusts the wage automatically usually at a one and a half rate whcihc is handy because its what we are using for AI transfers but sometimes it doesn't it must work on some kind of hidden formula which is a bit silly

Yeah i agree SI is good for speed. But I would say that the capability of FMRTE is far better... NB. I would make sure your game is on a rolling save (during simulations) and I would check that your save game isn't being compressed, helps with the save game surviving the long hall...

The wages are [as far as i'm aware], based on a combination of player rep, manager rep (current and new), club rep(current and new) and league rep(current and new), also things like their ability to speak the native language, personal favourites (club or staff) and also based on career ambitions. A complicated formula no doubt.

I did use a similar combination of values to keep the reality within the transfers, mainly based on reputations.

I Don't think my saves are compressed and I always roll with the monthly autosave with 3 saves so at least if one gets bugged out I can always go back a month but this is a new rig with a a10 7850k so handling the database is a breeze its just the amount of changes that may cause it to bug out not sure about now but I know FMRTE could break games.

I just need to get used to FMRTE again its changed a real lot since I last used it fm10 I think, but to say this is my first go at this I think its gone okay. Between the two editors I will get the job done, I was going to propose something similar for transfer but I thought seeing as this is my first attempt at running this I didn't want to complicate too much for myself

bornexplorer88 announces his take over

"Firstly, I would like to introduce myself to the all the fans and reassure them that I still consider us to be title contenders come the end of the season and this is due to the brilliance of manager, Antonio Conte. Who will remain at the club for the foreseeable future. I would also like to add thank the fans for all their support, I am a Manchester City fan at heart, but I have always had a soft spot for Juventus and I am glad to see them progress the way they have done over the last decade, and I hope that under my supervisions, we can strive for greater."

Transfers In
Kurt Zouma, an aggressive young talent and would slot into any team back four.
Leonardo Capezzi, a player a lot of Italians have dubbed the new Pirlo, but only time will tell.
Richairo Zivkovic, another great Dutch prospect, this lad can really find the net.
Alex Sandro, a player that bornexplorer88 describes as "the best Brazilian Left Back", a bold statement indeed.
Romelu Lukaku, signs at the end of the season due to bornexplorer88 honouring the previously agreed loan to Everton. An amazing talent, a must have for any European Contender!

Transfers Out
Angelo Ogbonna, flies off to Geordieland. Will he survive? We wish him well.

A New Era Begins

Today Anderlecht would like to release a press statement detailing the major changes going on at the club.

The biggest of which is the sale to the new Chairman Manuel Poggiali.

Upon taking over the club Manuel's first bit of business was to give his backing to current manager John Van Den Brom. Poggiali told the gathered media that "John has had a good time at the club so far, taking the title last season and I felt that with all the upheaval at the club that my takeover is bound to cause it would be in everyone's best interests if we wait for things to settle down at the boardroom level before making any major changes elsewhere."

Not wanting to cause too much upheaval and uncertainty hasn't stopped Poggiali from opening up his check book and green lighting some new signings straight away.

So it is with great pleasure that we can announce the return of our home bred wonderkid Adnan Januzaj. Adnan has spent a couple of years developing his game at Manchester United learning from legends of the game like Ryan Giggs and now the new chairman has seen fit to bring him back to his boyhood club.

But Januzaj isn't the only player Poggiali and Van Den Brom snapped up with Goalkeeper Thibault Courtois also returning to his home nation. " Courtois is a real coup for the club as he's already a great goalkeeper and he has the potential to become one of the very best. his only goes to show how serious I am about improving this Anderlecht side."

Further to this another player was brought in to strengthen the first team with one eye on trying to become regular participants in the Champions league knockout stages and that was Austrian LB David Alaba from Bayern Munich. "Alaba is another young player who will be at the club for years to come and with good LB's so hard to come by we feel very privileged to be able to secure the signing of one of the hottest young talents in the position" Alaba already has experience at the highest level coming from the Champions League holders and is expected to be a key man in the coming season for Belgium's best side.

And the final signing was Hervin Ongenda who joined from PSG. Poggiali had the following to say on the young striker "The signing of Hervin reinforces the dedication to young talent this club has made with him being touted as a star of the future by some. We're hoping the change of surroundings will help him push on and really accelerate his development as he and all our other signings join the likes of Tielemans, Praet and Mitrovic as the future of this great club."

Just a thought.

Could we make it a possibility, that when a player gets injure for long term (month or more), the chairman can connect to the NSA/CIA and use their ultra super secret technology to heal their players. But it can e used only once in two years (by one chairman) and it costs 20-60 mil, considering the severity of the injury.

1 month injured - 20 mil
2 months injured - 30 mil
3 months injured - 40 mil
4 months injured - 50 mil
5 or more months injured - 60 mil

World Football Roundup!

This week it is a special on the recently purchased clubs around europe by millionaires there was an influx of new owners around europe so let us look at these clubs and how they're doing!

Premier League

Everton

Everton have a enjoyed a solid start to life under new ownership they are currently sitting third and it would seem are flourishing under Roberto Martinez, he has brought in no less than 12 players in total and look as if they have all hit the ground running.

Newcastle

Newcastle have not had a great start since Jake Robinsons purchase of the club, an influx of top players do not seem to gelling at all under fresnedoso's leadership he is reportedly under increasing pressure to get results

Southampton

Southampton are another club who do not seem to be flourishing under new ownership despite a strengthening their side but Pochettino has a good reputation within the game and will surely make the team gel soon.

Also in England Bolton Wanderers were purchased by a multi millionaire and are flying high at the top of the championship!

In Dutch Football Ajax were purchased by Mogul Nath Walker and are sitting pretty at the top of Eredivisie and are second in their Champions league group which has 2 other teams we will talk about in this report Schalke and FC Porto (LolZ). The appointment of Van Gaal was seen as a masterstroke by some in the game and he is quickly putting his mark on this Ajax side

Next stop on our European tour is Germany, Schalke were Purchased by welshman Lewie Roberts as he aims to revamp the Bundesliga and takeover Bayern they are sitting ijn 4th and qualifying for the champions league will be seen as paramount to Lewie's plans

A surprise purchase in the Bundesliga 2 was that of 1860 Munich, AN as yet unamed millionaire mogul has purchased the club and quickly made a large splash in the transfer market with the purchase of Neymar. Valverde seems to have the team gelling and promotion must be a certainty for this team.

Oil Rich PSG were Purchased by Irish Millionaire Matt Smith, and currently sit in 3rd in League as this revamped side look to play the attacking possesion based football that Michael Laudrup is renowned for. Laudrup has let alot of people leave PSG but has strengthened his team considerably and sit two points behind early pacesetters Monaco and sit top of their champions league group

Meanwhile in Belgium Anderlecht were bought by superbike champion Manuel Poggiali, Although league form is not the best right now they can point to a 1 nil victory over Real Madrid exciting times in Belgium with a team that brings on some good youth players maybe with the new money behind them they can keep hold of their youngsters from now on.

In italy the old lady of Turin Juventus was bought by Bornexplorer and currently sit top of Serie A and they're championss league group making a few key additions to what already is a top quality team. Elsewhere in Italy Inter Milan was purchased by Estonian President Alan Pikkpoiss he has wasted no time at all in making purchases and this revamped inter team sit in third.

In Portugal FC Porto were Purchased by an as yet unamed millionaire and after the appointment of Fabio Capello and look like an all encompassing force right now not losing a game.

Finally it is La liga and this saw two teams recently purchased in Real Betis and Celta Vigo, After some fantastic additions Betis currently sit top of La Liga winning 7 out of 7, and look unstoppable right now in the league. Finally we look at Celta after what would look like a Harry Redknapp transfer window Celta signed 23 players and Enrique does not have them playing fluently yet but they still sit in 8th looking to pounce on the champions league spots!

That is all for now we will revisit these teams in January to see how they'r going.

View attachment 360490View attachment 360489
PSG Owner received an offer last night from Newcastle to bring Yohan Cabaye to the club, the deal was believed to be a straight swap for Hatem Ben Arfa. Newcastle fans will be unhappy that they failed to bring in the former Newcastle player but will be happy Ben Arfa will remain at the club

SEASON TICKET PRICES INFLATED

Newcastle owner today revealed that the season tickets will rise from £570 to £650, he believes with the quality of players coming in this season it is only normal for these prices to rise.
