Hull city today announce new club chairman Craig Smith. The Scottish millionaire takes over as he looks to bring future successes to the club. With only a couple of hours left of the transfer window following his arrival, the new chairman has been unable to bring in as many transfers as he'd of liked. Hull had a respectable finish last year in 12th and will be looking forward to another decent season with their three new arrivals. The new chairman is likely to spend big in the future, so new signings are expected in January.

Steve Bruce will remain in charge after a very successful previous two years in charge.

"Bruce has already taken the club forward within his first two seasons, therefore I still see him as the man to continue the growth of the club." - Craig Smith

Virgil Van Dijk leaves Celtic after a successful first season. The Dutch centre back joins Hull for £6 million pounds and at 23 he still has many great years ahead of him.

Joel Ward arrives at Hull from relegated Crystal Palace for just £1.9 million pounds. Another young player with many years still to come.

Twenty one year old Swiss international Ricardo Rodriguez became our third and final new signing. He arrived from Bayern Munich for £22 million pounds. He is most definitely a player for the future and Hull will be very excited for his arrival.

"We've signed three players who are going to be key in an area I felt needed strengthening, the rest of the squad will be given their chance to show their worth until January, where we could add one or two more players if we struggle." - Craig Smith

Breaking News:

Atalanta confirm 7 signings, club favourite returns as manager

Two storylines coming out the Atleti Azurri d’Italia tonight, as Mr G Fish stands proud with his latest acquisitions. Mamadou Sakho, Remy Cabella, Holger Badstuber, Igor Akinfeev, Mattia De Sciglio, Bernard and Mattia Destro all join the revolution, as the squad is completely overhauled.

Mr Fish had the following to say:

“We’re delighted to announce that these guys will be joining us, and that they have joined the Atalanta project. All these players are top quality signings, and will enable us to compete at the highest level of football possible. In Mamadou, Holger, Mattia and Igor, we have significantly strengthened our back 5, and should ensure that we remain tight at the back, allowing us to push for goals. The signings of Remy and Bernard in midfield, combined with Guido Marilungo and Bonaventura, should allow us to have a stable midfield, allowing Mattia to bang in the goals with Guiseppe. In signings two more Italians, we have ensured that the home grown integrity of our squad remains uncompromised, and that the squad will be able to encourage more Italian players to join us. Also pretty handy when we get to the Champions League next season, we’ll need them for our quotas.”

The other main news is that Cesare Prandelli has ceased to be the Italian manager, and Atalanta have secured his services for the foreseeable future. Mr Fish argued that “whilst I may be a foreigner to the club, I felt that we needed someone with the club ingrained in their personality to lead us to glory, Cesare was only too happy to join us on our journey.”

So, big changes afoot. With it also rumoured that Prandelli has a reasonable war chest, should he need it, Atalanta have a lot to look forward to this season. Inter and Juventus must surely be looking over their shoulders with a little terror now.

Newcastle need a Juventus

Headline doesn't make sense? Well Jake has once again showed disrespect to other teams by claiming that Newcastle have no challenge in the Premier League, Jake said "I'm bored, Premier League? Zzzzzz. We have no challenge in the Premier League, we have lost the only interesting game of the season this season as Sunderland have been relegated to the Championship. *laughter* We now lack an interesting game, a challenging game. Arsenal? Zzzzzz. Everton? Ha next please. Southampton? I only new they existed when we signed players from them. Anyway I'll stop blabbering on now, we need a Juventus type of team in this league to spice things up for us. They're quite decent aren't they didn't they win the Champions League it definitely wasn't Inter, anyway it may be a boring season for us Newcastle fans for when we cruise to victory in near enough most games" In what has been a total lack of respect by the Newcastle owner we now wait to see what other owners may have to say about this controversial chairman.

guessing by the lack of inbox action I haven't missed anything? one has just come to me off the top of my head a japanese full back from schalke but cannot think of nothing else

PSG continue to spend...

Sky Sports: " We are here with Matt Smith who seemed content over the large amounts of money swapping hands the past few hours! Matt, you realize you spent close to £300Million this window?"

Matt Smith: " Of course I'm Aware, what do you take me for, you idiot!!"

"Just sit there and keep quiet while I introduce my signings!"

"Apart from signing Lamela yesterday for £90+ Million and Carvajal for £30+ Million..we also have these guys..."

"First up are the transfers Laudrup brought in this window:"

Danilo
View attachment 354736
Danilo comes in to fight with Carvajal for the right back postion. We got him at a cheap £11Million from Porto; a steal in our opinion! We are really happy with this deal!

Pjanic

View attachment 354735
Pjanic joins us from Roma, they let him go at a cheap £6Million. Fools if you ask me! This guy has bags of talent!! Laudrup has done well with this deal!

Kevin Mirallas

View attachment 354734
We know what Mirallas is all about, extremely fast down the wing, bags of skill and will score a lot of goals! He cost £18 Million. To be honest I didn't think we needed another winger due to me bringing Lamela in earlier but Laudrup was persistant on it, I was happy to accept"

Alex Sandro
View attachment 354733
I am still shocked that Juventus decided to let this guy go. He cost us £13 Million and Laudrup was laughing as we wired the money across! We know we definately got the better of this deal! Borne may be kicking himself for letting this transfer go through!

Finally to announce the last signing, the one I made personally!

Mats Hummels!!!!

View attachment 354730
"We signed Mats for £85 Million!!
A large amount indeed. Although considering he averaged 7.5 last season and was a rock at the back for Dortmund, I am extremely happy to sign him!! He will slot into the 1st team and start a new partnership with Silva! Varane and Marquinhos will play backup to these guys, hoping to get their chance to shine in the first team!!"

Matt Smith: "Anyway, enough of this...I want to go get back to running my club! The fans can expect another great season, full of excitement!!!"
