bornexplorer88 announces his club's future

"Firstly, I would like to quash any rumours of my departure, even despite my hometown team's poor position but I think the problem is easily solved in the sacking of Dougie Freedman, which I'm sure will be soon. I would also like to add thank the fans for all their support during the rumours of my alledged pursuit of Manchester City. So with that out of the way, [pause] didn't I tell you Antonio Conte was the man! What a season, totally unbelievable achievement. I am glad to see our improvement despite many major changes. This year will have really shaken Conte's boat a little rough this pre-season, but in the re-shuffle we have built a great side, with major players leaving to make way for younger and more hungry blood. Well I promised greater things when I arrived and along with a reduction in the ticket prices, we have now delivered 3 trophies and chasing a potential 5 titles this year, and our arena and facilities have undergone drastic improvements. Well lets bring on the new season and hope for more impressive performances, like last season."

Football Roundup

View attachment 354672

welcome to our new season and a fresh look at some of the new money clubs around europe and how they have started the season.
Anderlecht - The Paars-wat currently sit top of the belgian league and the new management appointment of Solskjaer seems to be paying off, with Duvan Zapata on fire with 6 in 4 games. However they could not get past Leverkusen for champions league football but must be confident of success come the end of the season

Bolton - The Wanderers currently sit second in the Barclays Premier League after 6 matches and look very comfortable in this step up in competition, with record signing Luis Suarez topping the club scoring charts with 4 goals

Southampton - The Saints are 6th in the EPL on 11 points and look to be finally putting last seasons inconsistencies behind them with world record signing Lionel Messi scoring 4 goals in 6 games The Saints must surely be hoping for at least European football this year.

Everton - Everton currently sit 7th but only 4 behind league leaders Man Utd, however Marco Reus has been in stunning form remains to be seen where Martinez takes his men this year.

Newcastle - the magpies have not been consistent in the league so far this season and seem to be adapting to european football, however they currently top a group with Zenit, Bayern and Salzburg in the champions league

Hull City - The latest money bags club currently sit 6th in the BPL with Shane Long finding his best form with 4 goals in 6 matches

Paris - Although having a decent start in Ligue 1 Lorient have stolen a march on the defending champions and PSG currently sit 5 points behind Lorient but they will be confident of catching the early pace setters once Zlatan finds his shooting boots.

Stuttgart - Stuttgart are top of the bundesliga and are looking to usurp the usual suspects at the top of the german game can they maintian there position it remains to be seen.

Schalke - Schalke currently sit 6th in the bundesliga but haven't really found there best form winning 4 and losing 3 but sit second behind Juventus in the champions league and must be hopeful of progressing

1860 Munchen - 1860 have had a solid start considering they have only just been promoted and lie 7th star player Neymar hasn't really kicked into gear yet but after an influx of new signings will be hoping to gel quickly under the new leadership of Roberto Mancini

Ajax - Newly appointed Ajax coach Co Adriaanse is currently 4 points behind league leaders FC Utrecht and with no champions league football this year will be under extra pressure to try and win the league

Atalanta - the newly bought club currently sit top of Serie A on 16 points can they maintain this lead there new owner will certainly be hoping so

Juventus - the reigning european champions lie in 3rd position in Serie A after an ok start but will need to improve to retain their title, they currenlty top their champions league group however and look to become the first team to retain their european title since the inception of the champions league

Inter - The Nerrazurri may not have had the best of league starts but have won 2 out of two in the champions league in a group consisting of Monaco, Barcelona and BATE and will be looking to kick on in the run up to christmas and the January window,

FCP - FCP are top of the portuguese leaue but only on goal difference, Edin Dzeko top scoring for the club. Currently top of there champions league group on 6 points in a group consisting of Man Utd Galatasaray and Vitesse Arnheim.

SLB - SLB sit second in the Portuguese League on goal difference and will be looking to outgun their rivals to retain the league title.

Betis - Betis sit in 3rd position in la liga and after an influx of signings maintaining a champions league place must be the priority, with no one really taking the mantle left by Leo Baptistao who incidently signed for the other spanish new money club Celta in a 40 million pound deal. They drew there openining champions league amtch with Leverkusen and have SLB and Milan coming up.

Celta - Celta currently sit 5th with a game in hand on the teams above them which if they win will go second, Madrdi are looking like walking away with the league once ore but Celta will be aiming for a champions league place.

First of all **** you Juventus for taking Ander Herrera

Second of all **** you Betis for taking Moussa Sissoko

Hello!
I've been a 'guest' member for about 2 years so I know how chairman games work.

My question is, can I still join this game?
Will take any team in Italy or France

In Capello We Trust

View attachment 354590
FC Porto Chairman Sasha Thomas reveals outrage at manager Capello. The current manager has bought 12 players and sold 8 others without the permission of the chairman. Sasha Thomas had this to say:

'Capello may have to fall on his own sword here. Another season without the premier league trophy, he may face the sack. He has disrupted squad harmony with these acquisitions. However, there are some fantastic players he has managed to buy for a relatively small cost and if this turns out well, he should be very proud of these deals.'

Transfers in:

Eden Dzeko (10.75million) - bargain for a first team striker who has already scored 6 in 9
Ivan Strinic (3.6million) - first choice left back who's value already nearly tripled his transfer fee
Allan Nyom (9.75million) - right back to fill the void left by Danilo
Adam Szalai (5.5million) - confusing deal as he is currently fourth choice striker
Humam Tariq (1.6million) - exciting youngster with huge potential for the fututre
Pavel Savitskiy (9.5million) - see above
Alen Hailovic (5.5million) - see above
Joao Moutinho (33million) - portugese back bone for the centre of the park, future captain of team
Lass Bangoura (2.2million) - rotation player for an extremely cheap price
Pirmin Schwegler (4.3million) - good rotation option, however on massive wages for rotation player
Celestino Balde (500k) - regen with massive potential
Ricardo Fereira (70k) - havent a clue why he was signed
Lucas Romero (20.5million) - fantastic deal by Capello for a young midfielder who already slots into the first team
Douglas Costa (12.5million) - another young midfielder who is starting choice right winger
Oussama Assaidi (3million) - cheap backup to Danny but is unlikely to make many appearances
Ronan (3.6million) - good backup left back with potential to be as good as Strinic

Total: 125.87million

Transfers out (will not go through free transfers):
Marat Izmaylov (500k)
Andre Castro (250k)
Danilo (18.25million) - not good to be lost for so cheap but now replaced by Allan Nyom
Axel Witsel (33million) - plenty of strong centre mids now so 33million was great for the club
Steven Defour (2.6million)
Nabil Ghilas (1.6million)
Sinan Bolat (450k)
Kleber (1.6million)
Michu (7.5million) - confusing deal as we signed him for around 30million last year and had a good first year for the club but didn't make many appearances

Total: 65.75million

(bold - completed by Capello, normal - completed by Thomas)

BENFICA MAKE SOLID START TO THE NEW CAMPAIGN AS THEY WAIT FOR NEW SIGNINGS TO JOIN UP WITH THE SQUAD

Benfica lie in 2nd, only to be behind league leaders FC Porto on goal difference. Benfica are currently unbeaten and have won five and drawn one out of the 6 league games they have played, a record only matched by FC Port. The two new signings, Eden Hazard and Daniel Sturridge are you to join up with the squad due to injuries sustained in Chelsea FC and Liverpool FC pre season training in Boston a few months ago.

However, it is expected that they will be able to join up and train with the squad for the next match.

Benfica have not made the best of starts to their Champions League campaign, losing to AC Milan at Home. However, Carlo Ancelotti insists with Sturridge and Hazard back from injury they will be able to join up with the squad and make a difference:

"If you look at the statistics, we didn't lose badly, with a world class striker like Sturridge we could of easily scored another two goals and beat them.

"Sometimes you need to have these key players in your squad to ensure you score the winning goals.

"FC Porto better watch out, as we are not taking this season lightly and want to win everything we can."

The fans are satisfied with Carlo Ancelotti's progress and think they are going in the right direction.

Bringing you breaking news from Sky Sports News: In the latest turn of events, Cardiff City FC has been sold by infamous obnoxious owner Vincent Tan. Much hatred had been directed towards Tan in recent times for changing the colour of "The Bluebirds" to red. As a result, Tan seemed to have had enough and put the club up for sale.
Unexpectedly, the new owner of the club is one well-known throughout the footballing world, but was never one to have enough wealth to buy a football club for himself, until he received an unexpected inheritance of $500 million from a Saudi die hard fan, who had no relatives and dedicated his entire fortune to his idol...
ADEBAYO AKINFENWA

img_201407201547329536.jpg

Surprised? Wait, isnt the transfer window over? How is he going to improve the club? Well, Sky Sports brings to you an interview with the man himself to try to clear the doubts. Over to you Liam.

Liam Neeson: Alrighty here we have Adebayo Akinfenwa, the new owner of Cardiff City. Lets get straight to the point. Ade, I think we all want to know why you chose to buy cardiff city. Also, how you were able to get this club off Vincent Tan and only completed the transfer of ownership just before the transfer window closed. Also, were you able to make any transfers in the short time you had ownership of the club before the window closed?

Akinfenwa: Now now Liam, calm down. One at a time. First, why did i want this club? When i looked at Cardiff City FC, i saw unhappy fans, and as you all know or soon will, Ade does NOT like unhappy fans. So, take away the cause of unhappiness and BUY THE CLUB. When Ade is owner, everyone is happy. But, that old dude was one stingy man just wouldnt stop negotiating for more money. In the end Ade got what he wanted but it definitely took 50 years too long for him to agree sell this club. When i finally got it there was what, 30 minutes left to the end of the transfer window. Ade told himself, nope not gonna let the stingy old dude get in the way of me improving the club. So i did it. Yes. I went BEAST MODE ^^. I got everyone together and started shouting at them. "COME ON MY GRANDMA WOULD BE FASTER THAN YOU" "DONT YOU KNOW HOW TO CALL SOMEONE GO BACK TO KINDERGARTEN"
Yup, it was ugly, but we got things done. In the short 30 minutes we made 5 SIGNINGS. They might not be the best players in the world, and i would have liked to shore up the attack more, but they will definitely push us up a level, and i hope to keep doing the same in the transfer windows to come.

Signing 1: Jores Okore (Previously at Aston Villa)
okore_1748310a.jpg

Price: 8 million
At 22 a young signing and looks to be a good D(C) for the future.

Signing 2:Serge Aurier (Previously at AS Monaco)
Z

Price: 40+ million
Young, promising and extremely versatile defender. Huge gamble which breaks the club record transfer fee but with so little time left and the amazing potential was a definite buy.

Signing 3: Claudio Yacob
Claudio-Yacob-says-of-Wes-008.jpg

Price: 25 million
Established and illustrious midfielder. Main man to run things right from the centre of the pitch. Might have been able to get him for cheaper but once again time constraints.

Signing 4: Felipe Luis (Previously at Atletico Madrid)
Filipe-Luis.jpg

Price: 16 million
One of the more exciting signings, Felipe has definitely proven himself as a top-class defender and we are happy to have snagged him for a decent price.

Signing 5: Markus Henriksen
1941957_w2.jpg

Price: 10 million
Once again another young and promising player who will be partnering Claudio in midfield.

Akinfenwa: And that's it! All the signings for this transfer window! If you dont like them, DEAL WITH IT. But i will be making more signings during the next window particularly in the Attack department and we might perhaps see a new keeper arrive and the club. As for the manager i will give Steve Clarke a chance and see how we get along. If he does badly, OUT.

Liam Neeson:
Alright, that was it from the new owner of Cardiff City, Mr Akinfenwa. Seems like he really intends to take Cardiff City all the way, and for the fans, interestingly. Well that was it from us here in Wales. Ill see you next time.

Special news from Internazionale Milano

We bring you special bad news from Milan, Italy, where things have progressed radically today. More specifically turns out that Inter owner the President of Estonia had stepped down from his position in Estonia. Why, no one knew till it was too late. He had traveled to Italy at 12 am, only to find out that loan sharks were there waiting for him. Came out that former chairman of Inter got his money from loan sharks. He was way too much in debt, that he could nowhere find the money to pay his debts off. So one of the loan sharks made him a proposal that he could not refuse. He offered, that Pikkpoiss writes the club to his name and he will clear all his debts.Pikpoiss had thought about his options and that was the best one. So without really thinking he wrote club ownership to the loan shark. But came out that loan shark was an angry man, who hated "important" politicians, people who are in debt to him, but he did love football, so he killed Pikkpoiss in cold blood. Atleast that's what a witness said. Of course the eyewitness is already dead, so the new owner won't be going into the court.

Now we go live to the first interview of the new owner of Inter Milan:

Loan shark: What, only 3 news agencies? Where are the others?

BBC: They were too scared to come and all. You did kill a guy for this club, didn't you?

Loan shark: Whoa, nothing has been proven yet, man. I'm innocent in the eyes of the court. But what's your name? I might wanna pay you a visit.

BBC: Well I don't think my name is important here now. But yours is. What is your name?

Loan shark: Don't get smart with me! If you need to know then my name is Mr. VIP for you all reporters!

BBC: Now, onto the second question. What's ...

Mr. VIP: Hold on for a minute. Each of the news agencies asks me one question. You already asked yours. Next one.

CNN: Is it true you killed a guy?

Mr. VIP: Come on. So ****** questions. You will get fired from you agencies for sure. Next one.

NBC: What are your intentions with the club, players, staff?

Mr. VIP: Now, that's a good question. BBC and CNN, that's a question you should ask when your life is in danger. With the club I plan to win the league and the CL someday. Dom players will be let go. And manager will stay the same for now. Thank's ya'll! I love you mom. And Thomas, pay your debts.

Joachim Loew is back in management

Loew has been unemployed since leaving Germany after the World Cup and looks set to join one of the most prestigious clubs in football. Joachim didn't have much to say but said "I enjoy being back in football and I hope to create magic memories with this club, I am joining a big club in a beautiful city and I look forward of being part of this clubs future. I also look forward to working under Jake Robinson and this is a new step for us both and we hope to achieve great success"

Special news? Was you holding a gun to the writers head when he was typing that? To me that's more like brutal news.

But good start, scary but good (apart from the killing)
