Pierre does himself a lot of favours as Toon triumph!
View attachment 232654Pierre Aubameyang scores on his debut to silence Red DevilsView attachment 232651Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made the dream start to his Newcastle career after netting the winner against Manchester United at St James' Park. Tyler Hutchinson threw the £8m man straight into the starting lineup as Papiss Demba Cisse continues his recovery, he was also in the stands watching today and looked happier than most when Pierre grabbed the decisive goal. The Gabon international looked lively all game and he was beating everyone for pace so it came to no surprise when he got onto the end of long ball from Adel Taarabt to chip David De Gea. Newcastle United have acted quickly to replace the injured no.9 Papiss Cisse by announcing that they have completed the signing of 23-year-old Gabon international striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Pierre has signed a 5 year deal with the North East giants in a transfer that Sky Sports News believes to be valued at £8m from AS Seint Etienne in Ligue 1. Aubameyang had an impressive season for the French side last term making 32 apperances and scoring 17 goals, taking into account he was playing in a poor side that got relegated despite his goal tally. He will take the number 39 shirt for the Toon and Tyler Hutchinson has described him as a rare talent. "Pierre will develop into a player of real Premier League class with Newcastle, we look to see him tutored by Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse in his time here. He can play a big big role but, like I ask with any signing from abroad, dont expect world class things from the first kick. He needs to settle and we will help him do that." Hutchinson has already said that this would be the last deal of the summer for the Magpies and its a transfer that takes the amount Newcastle have spent this summer to £30.5m in comparison to last summers £5.5m spent.
About time someone signed this genius ! 1 of my favourite players :D

Today Newcastle travelled to Goodison Park today anticipating a tough game but a trio of the Toons summer signings ensured that it wouldn't be the case. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang grabbed the first after yet again another impressive game which see's the Gabonese forward rack up 2 goals in his first two games for the Tyneside club. The second was added at the start of the second half as debutant Sulley Muntari scored an easy tap in to get his Newcastle career off the best start. Finally, the game was wrapped up by Icelandic playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson as he collected his 2nd goal in his first 4 league games for Newcastle, and thats how it ended.

Newcastle smash Potters as they win again

Tyler Hutchinson is getting a lot of praise for how he has fitted his Summer signings into the team as they earned the Tyneside club another win. Gylfi Sigurdsson added his 3rd goal of the season with a curling effort from 25 yards as he continues to impress in a black & white shirt sice his £14m move from Bundesliga side Hoffenheim in July. Then the club's newest addition, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, got his 3rd goal in 3 games for Newcastle as he was brought in to add competition for Papiss Cisse who is out injured at the moment. Some pundits believe that if Pierre-Emerick keeos this form up then Cisse will struggle to get back in the starting 11, or Hutchinson would have to very reluctantly change his outlook.

£22m duo sparkle for Toon once again

View attachment 232799Pierre-Emerick and Gylfi steam-rolling the Premier League hand-in-handView attachment 232800Pierre Aubameyang and Gylfi Sigurdsson both struck again today to ensure that Newcastle travelled back to Tyneside with 3 points. The pair, who cost a combined £22m this Summer, have now scored a combined 7 goals in 4 games for Newcastle and they show no signs of stopping, it seems they instinctively know what the other is thinking and it's one of the most potentially fruitful relationships between a midfielder and a striker that the Premier League has seen in recent times. Junior Hoilett also grabbed a goal today as he continues his impressive start to his Newcastle career having scored 4 goals in 19 games since joining for £10.5m from Blackburn in January. That means that todays scorers have a combined value of £32.5m, how much did Andy Carroll go for? Here is Septembers table:

Newcastle teach Watford what the Premier League is about

View attachment 232954Sigurdsson and Aubameyang have well and truly done Ba and Cisse justiceView attachment 232953With Demba Ba out for another 5-6 months with a broken leg who may miss the rest of the season and Papiss Demba Cisse who is still out for up to another 2 weeks with a dislocated shoulder you need people to step in for them, considering how much of an amazing duo the Senegalese pairing are for Newcastle. In recent weeks it has become apparent that this pairing is the ever-improving duo of Toon new boys Gylfi Sigurdsson and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. However it was neither who opened the scoring today, it was in fact Junior Hoilett as he continues to impress for Newcastle, his opener was shortly added to by Sigurdsson after he stung a freekick into the top corner. Then, Aubameyang scores a 5 minute brace with to oppurtunist goals, the first a sweet struck half-volley and the second a well placed header. The 5th was then achieved from a corner as Newcastle captain Steven Taylor lunged to reach the ball and knock it in with his head.

Sigurdsson leaves it late to win the 3 points

Tyler Hutchinson returned to the fixture in which he made his manegerial debut last season, and on that occasion he emerged with a 4-2 victory, however, none of the scorers on that occasion were on the field today. Junior Hoilett gave Newcastle the lead in an open first half after he sped down the right and cut past Kieran Gibbs to smash home with his left. Park Chu Young drew Arsenal level after 50 mins with a scrappy goal, this saw the game come to life with moments of absolute beauty frequently appearing. The game looked to settled as a draw, that was until a deflected Junior Hoilett cross found the head of in-form Gylfi Sigurdsson at the near post to send The Sports Direct Arena wild.

Magpies Show fight to gain the win
View attachment 233094Youngster Okore steps forward to claim winView attachment 233095Newcastle United travelled to Ewood Park today and were given a run for their money as Blackburn refused to go down without a fight. Blackburn took the lead on 43 minutes from a Ruben Rochina strike, however Newcastle cancelled it out in first half stoppage time from a venemous Sigurdsson volley. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang then put Newcastle ahead with 25 minutes left after he combined with Gylfi Sigurdsson once again, he was then replaced as Papiss Demba Cisse got a run out as he returns from injury. Blackburn thought they had earned a draw after Ghilas knocked the ball over the line after a failed Toon clearence, however centre-back Jores Okore bombed forward and recieved the ball, played a neat one-two with Cisse and smashed the ball home in the 91st minute.
