Personally i have Ba as a TM (never run from deep, run with ball often, through balls often, cut inside(retrained)) TM unticked, Cisse i have as a poacher(retrained to run with ball through centre)

both have a goal ratio of 1 in 2

Newcastle fans were the happiest set coming away from Stamford Bridge as the Magpies managed to hold on and gain a well earned draw to help boost their early title chances. Davide Santon turned out to be the star of the match as he worked his socks off to make sure his team didnt concede. The Toon were unlucky not to of scored after Aubameyang and Cisse both came close on several occasions but Hutchinson is happy at the final result.

Newcastle slaughter lackluster Blues

Newcastle United put on a worthy reminder of why they won the title last season by showing the different beauties of football they can execute. £10m-man Junior Hoilett grabbed his 4th of the season by smashing home a close range effort after making a fantastic run to find space. Then Superman Sigurdsson grabbed his 8th goal of the season by striking the ball across goal to find the bottom corner, this was closely followed by a much needed goal from Magpie hero Papiss Cisse. The first half ended with Sigurdsson helping himself to Newcastle's 4th and his 9th of the season-what a buy! Papiss Cisse then killed the game midway through the 2nd half with a tidy finish to silence the number of critics who had claimed he was suffering from 'second season syndrome' after only scoring 1 in 4, following this game he has scored 3 in 5. A Birmingham goal late on was nothing more than a sweetener.

Newcastle United's Senegalese number 19 is seemingly becoming unsettled at Newcastle due to the consistent emergance of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Cisse's dominance and his hard hitting injury which will see him sidelined for another 4 months still. Ba was one of world footballs biggest stars last season after his lone striker role at Newcastle lead them to the title and lead him to 30 goals in all competitions, Newcastle resisted enquiries from Barcalona, Real Madrid and Liverpool in the summer for the hitman. However, Ba only has 1 goal in 4 games this term due to his horrific leg break, which led to the £8m purchase of Pierre Aubameyang on deadline day who has since dazzled supporters with his work rate and goal scoring. Demba is unlikely to be sold in January but when next Summer comes Newcastle the number of Senegalese strikers at Newcastle could be halved. Ba has a lot of work to do.

Cash in on him, you got an amazing strike force without him by the looks of it.

Toon refuse to give up and gain point

A clash of the Barclays Premier League top 2 saw an affair of two world-class teams cancelling eachother out. Defending was fantastic on both sides which prevented the high-scoring game everyone had predicted. It was the Etihad side who took the lead after Jores Okore slipped and Sergio Aguero simply had to glide past and **** over Asenjo. Newcastle then did their upmost throughot the whole second half to pull it back, hitting the wood-work 4 times! However, it wasnt until the 91st minute where Sigurdsson drilled a low cross across the face of the goal which was met by a leaping diving header from Aubameyang. This was the 23-year-old's 8th league goal in 10 games for Newcastle, so far proving he was worth every penny of the £8m spent on him by Tyler Hutchinson. Pierre was also named African Footballer of the Year this week, succeeding last years winner and fellow Magpie, Papiss Demba Cisse.

Toon win marred by Cisse injury
View attachment 236668Hoilett set SD Arena alight with his MOM displayView attachment 236669Junior Hoilett once again impressed this season as he quietly troops on getting the goals and winning games, seemingly avoiding the attention that follows the likes of Aubameyang, Cisse and Sigurdsson. Hoiletts hand in the first goal was running down the byline before cutting inside and then back out before chopping the ball across goal but hit Glen Johnson before it had the chance to, which led it to **** over Reina into the far corner. Then bad news for Newcastle hit as Cisse left the field injured replaced by Hatem Ben Arfa, which pushed Aubameyang into the lone striker role. It has since been confirmed that Cisse will be out for around 2 months which is a massive blow, however Hoilett eased fans' worries when he sped down the wing and ran inside before rifling the ball into the roof of the net from 20 yards. Newcastle United got off to a poor start after Ghanian right back Samuel Inkoom recieved a red card for a two-footed challenge. Newcastle managed to keep their shape and shuffled things round as they looked to get one goal then defend and thats exactly what happened. The consistant as ever Aubameyang slotted a beautiful lob home after sprinting 50 yards past 5 players which left Swansea dazzled. All Newcastle needed to do was stay strong at the back and they managed that which secured all 3 points for the impressive Tyneside club.

Keep Ba say Aubameyang gets injured and Cisse hits a bad run who else could step in?
