That away form threatens to undo all your good work Jack, what formation are you playing?

I just started playing with 3 at the back, 2 wingbacks on the overlap (3-4-1-2) - it helped me keep it tight in tough games but we still attacked with bite.

At the moment I am using goals galore which is serving me fine in the home games but we can't seem to defend away, to be fair, I have been unlucky.

Defeat AWAY :(

I never use more then Standard strategy away from home, unless I'm clear favourites. Try a different tactic away, focusing on defence

Just an idea... could try using Goals Galore! away from home but pull wide midfielders central. Keep on attacking mentality but choose touchline options: play narrow, look for overlap and drop deeper (switch this off or push up during the game when you think you have the edge)? oO)

Alright cheers Dan, will give it a go ;)

Manager

Rudolf Martinez
"I am pleased with how the side progressed this season, we our in a healthy position financially and in terms of league position, no one expected us to do so well but we did so we our proud of our achievements, I hope the lads can continue the momentum into next season and actually win promotion, we will be challenging, you can count on that. We have been working hard to identify new targets for the club all season and will bring in a few new faces, I hope they will help develop as a team and a club, I am looking forward to the coming season".

Good first season in charge, if I was a Rimini fan I'd be excited about next season. Keep hold of Zarate though!

Wounder about finishing just outside the playoffs. Should get there next season unless you get offered a better job....................

Not looking for a new job, I;m trying to get some quality players in at the moment but it is a tough market, I might keep hold of Zarate but he's hitting 33 but I suppose you should stick with experience

Very unlucky Jack, Glad to see you plan on sticking with Rimini though, Next season you can really push on, Judging my your end of season review you had quite a strong team sadly the key area you lacked in was attack, The experienced Zarate did his fair share infront of goal but other than Napoli who only had 15 games the other two really let you down in that area, Would'nt be a problem if they were chipping in more with assists but they didnt really perform there neither.

Sticking with Zarate gets my backing but as you know i'm a sucker for the experienced players, With abit of luck you might beable to pick one or two up for free next season, They always perform when called upon for me, Midfielders are my favourite oldies to pick up, I always like to have 2 experienced midfielders hanging around and they rarely let me down.

You have alot more patience than me when it comes to the end of season report, First team only for me and impact players but nice to see your views on all the players, Hopefully you will be promoted next season and push on from there.

the worst feeling is coming one off the last playoff spot, its just happened to me with scunthorpe, its not fun at all

hey mate
you have an amazing story going here
i started reading this and just could not stop
keep it up
